Now I'm ready to shell out $25 to $30 for the ugly caymans. Just trying to figure out what screaming bright color to choose.
:rotfl2: Whatever 'screaming' color you decide :rotfl: , I'm sure you'll be happy! :thumbsup2

I have the black Airwalk ones and they SAVED my tootsies on two WDW trips, one Vegas trip, and one Cali/DL trip!!! No blisters and no hotspots=happy girl!!!!

DH has two pair
DB has one very worn pair
DM and DMIL has a pair

Very happy feet here in MN!!!

Can't wait to have happy feet on our trip in 26 days!

Just got my first pair of Crocs last night, so today is my first day wearing them. I got the Caymans, and WOW -- they are amazingly comfortable!! I do feel a little self-conscious though, because a lot of people have been staring at my feet and wrinkling their noses...but it certainly has been a conversation piece for they day! A lot of my coworkers have been asking about them ("Uhhh...whatcha wearin' there, Traci?!). I got them in a subtle color (light blue), but once I get used to them, I'm looking forward to getting some more "obnoxious" colors, like lime green or orange!

Thanks everyone here for recommending them; I've never seen anyone else wearing them, so I would probably have never known about them. Can't wait to wear them next time we go to Disneyland!!

No dogs barkin' today! :dog2:

My nut job DH wants to wear 2 different colors at the same time, one orange and one green, I did manage to take control there and squash that thinking.

You may want to get him a pair of the Off Roads. The shoe is one color, and the strap another color. They are really ugly

Heh heh, that is so funny!! That would have been great for me in high school, as our wretched school colors were orange & green. Gaaack!! :scared1:

I got a pair of Navy Crocs in February thanks to the DISboards. I wear them almost every day. I love them for gardening (just hose them off after). I wear them to work. I wear them almost everywhere because they are so easy to slip on and off. Even though they are not real cute, they are comfy and so look doesn't really matter. I've actually had a lot of compliments from people, and a few snyde remarks. I haven't tried them out at Disney yet, but I will try them at Disneyland in August.

I got mine about 3 weeks ago, I love them! I got mine at Walmart for $8.88 :cool1: I got my children 4 and 2 a pair each there today also. The inside of their ankles rubbed and a dab of deoderant works great on the part that rubs the foot, plus a bandaid to help their little blister....I also read that if they are a bit tight you can put them in the dryer till warm and then slip your foot in and the plastic will mold to your foot, that's works too! My husband now wants a pair- Yea they are a bit ugly BUT SO COMFORTABLE! :cool1: Ours our going to WDW in December!

Welcome to the Crocs-Cult! :thumbsup2

FYI - youll also notice people stare at your feet, and then come up to you and say "I love your Crocs!"

We're like a secret society, it's like a secret handshake, a password..... people who know what they are, love them - and will tell you. I had a punk-rock kid, working at Hot Topic tell me "I love your Crocs!" :rotfl:

So - I do the same to others... "Hey... nice Crocs!" :teeth:

I can make you both happy. Exchange the straps. Put the orange straps on the green crocs and the green straps on the orange crocs. It looks really cute too.

TinkerbellTris I'm gonna go with the black ones. [QUOTE=KimRaye said:
WHOA! HOT FEET!!! jmho

I have black ones (Cayman) and my feet never felt hot. And it WAS hot when we were there 3 weeks ago (averaged 92 degrees + humidity). DH had dark brown (and wore with socks) and his feet never got hot either.

Choose the color you are most comfortable in. I'm just not a bright color person.

Now, If I could afford a pair to match each color shirt I was wearing then maybe... LOL
Nah - because I wouldn't pack that many shoes - wastes too much space. One neutral colored pair is all I need.

Croc's are selling like hot cakes in Sacramento!!!! I have been to 2 different malls which averages about 6 stores that sell croc's. Not 1 store had Black ones in a size small. Unbelievable. I had to settle for the only pair of croc's i could find in sacramento in my size thank God they are the Khaki colored beach croc's. I cannot wait to sport those things on my feet all over WDW!!! Look out! I finally have my croc's. It took me 5 days on a goose chase but now they are mine , all mine!hahahahaha

I love this thread! I broke down and bought a pair of Air Walks at payless and LOVE them! I was a little hesitant cuz they really aren't all that atractive. But I thought what the heck I have heard such good things about them. I have had surgery on both my feet and have a hard time finding shoes that feel good on them.I got a pair that were light blue with pink, yellow, and white swirls in them. I thought they were nicer looking than the other colors. I have to say the Air Walks are amazing so light and comfey! I bought a size 6 my toes go all the way to the ends. If I put them in the dryer will I be able to strech them a little in that area? The 7's were to big. Thanks for this great thread I feel so much more self confident in wearing them now. My husband thought I was nuts in buying them but I told them it was all the rage! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have one pair of Airwalks (blue) and just got 3 pairs (for $7 apiece) of a knock-off I find just as comfortable. (For those in the New England area, it was at Ocean State Job Lot.) LOVE THEM!!! (Just don't tell DH cuz he only thinks I bought the red ones and doesn't know yet of the other two pairs. LOL!)

I wear them to work. I'm sure the kids the past few weeks are getting a hoot out of their crazy lunch lady with the big blue or red feet. LOL! Hope they like the lime green and yellow ones, too. LOL!

Oh, I also have a Walmart pair of white strappy ones (not clogs). While they are hard and probably not for me for long walks, I can wear them all day w/no problems. I also have a pair of the Athens thongs and they are wonderful! I have butt-ugly feet, so the thongs don't go anywhere outside of the house, but they are on my feet the entire time I'm around the house. LOL! Those things are marvelous! LOVE THEM!

The slip on crocs with no back strap are the best.

Flip Flops without the "toe splitter"

Kim,

Moms come in, and I swear, they must have bought HUGE :rotfl: :rotfl: sizes because they look terrible on them!

( we asked my husband if he liked them, and he said, "Not on my size 11 feet! They would look like BOATS!" :rotfl2: )

Uhh, I'm a mom who has to order the size 12(!!) Airwalks. And the do look like big, ugly boats...but they're comfy.

When I ordered my current pair of Airwalks the only color choice in my size was red with a yellow strap. I was calling them my Ronald McDonald shoes until I took a good look at Mickey. He wears red and yellow pants, and HIS shoes are huge too. Now I call them my Mickey shoes. All I need is a black Mickey Head jibbetz to put on them.

Im Pooh sized and was sure comfy alllllllllll Disney week in my crocs, havent had em off since May, lookin to buy black now!

I went to Disney last week and had two Croc wearers acknowledge me. :thumbsup2

I have a pair of Airwalks and I'm beyond caring that they're not the most attractive shoes. I always used to buy the cutest shoes in my size, but no more. My previous DW trips were full of achy painful feet. I would like a better selection of colors but til then I'll deal with the "looks". ;)
