OMG I am SO sorry I poo-poo'ed all the crocs testimony for the past two years and didn't go get these sooner!

I'm big, a size 20, and 40 years old, and the last couple of years shoes have been becoming a bigger and bigger issue for me, with fatigue and pain in my legs and feet.

I started working out religiously three times a week last winter, and that definitely helped, but I have to give my new crocs most of the credit for letting me do 13 hour days at the parks last week with little to no discomfort.

CROCS ARE A MIRACLE SHOE

OK, ok, now you can say I told you so!!! :goodvibes

I have to admit - they truly are really good, comfy walking shoes, if purchased large enough.

I have heard so many rave reviews about crocs I have soooooooo gotta have a pair. They would be awesome on the wet rides too being rubber & all :woohoo:

I love my crocs! Even after a long day at the parks my feet and legs don't ache like they had in the past. I had a friend who is inbetween sizes for the crocs and she really had a time walking at WDW. Her feet and legs hurt - I knew what she was talking about because that is how I felt pre-croc!

When we were in WDW last month, my DD11 was complaining tremendously about how bad her feet were hurting after our first full day. :) I saw the Mickey crocs in POP's gift shop and told her about how Disboard members swore how comfy they were. ;) I suggested she try a pair on and see what she thought. We still had 6 park days to go. Well her response is that they are just about the ugliest things she had ever seen, but they sure were comfy on the tootsies. :goodvibes So I spent the money to get her a pair. I won't say she never complained the rest of the trip, but it was much less and usually not until evening time. Good thing she and I wear the same size as I have worn them almost non-stop since our trip. :thumbsup2 They are great for running errands, going outside (we have a pool). I really like them when it's pouring!! :rotfl2: I would agree w/ my DD that they are not the most attractive, but I'd tell anyone to try them before you say 'No'.

I wasn't the biggest fan of crocs but I did quite like the pump ones! They were so cute! Still don't own a pair though. Maybe next holiday...

I just went to the crocs website and am more confused than ever:confused3
is there a certain type that's better then the others for wearing all day to Disney?

Which style do you wear?

I'm thinking of getting some Crocs for our trip. But, on crocs.com, they are sold out of almost every style in my size (and DH's too)!

It's really frustrating me because there are no retailers around here that carry a decent selection.

You can buy the Mickey head clog style in the resorts or parks in several colors. I'm just sorry I waited until the end of the trip to buy them.
In Orlando's airport there is a GIANT croc store if you wanted to get them there. Should have bought one pair there before getting the Magical Express bus to the resort since it POURED our first night there. The clog style were only $5-7 more than the regular circle-holed ones you can buy anywhere (at least compared to stores here in PA)

You might try Shoebuy.com, they usually have a decent selection.

Just remember Jibbits don't stay in Mickey head crocs......

The "Cayman" clogs with the strap that can go forward or back. I like the strap back. I got them in a very pretty light lavender.

And I wear a 9 1/2, got the Large which is a women's 10/11 in Croc sizing, and that's what I needed. Perfect.

You do definitely need to buy up. You want the shoe to not be snug at all. It won't slide around, I swear, it's the patented foam they're made of, it like grips you, but in a nice way... it's hard to explain, you just have to make the leap and try them.

I predict every woman I work with at my job where we are on our feet a lot will be in these things by next summer, now that they have a mary jane style that could pass in a casual workplace.
