CROCS - I've seen the light!!!!

It's really frustrating me because there are no retailers around here that carry a decent selection.

I got mine in the Orlando airport. I paid more than I would have shopping for deals online, but I got to try them on and got the help of their very knowledgable staff re. sizing.

A girl in the store said there's a big store in the Mall of Florida, too, she had the most amazing tie dye design ones, multicolored, I want those, too!

In Orlando's airport there is a GIANT croc store if you wanted to get them there. Should have bought one pair there before getting the Magical Express bus to the resort since it POURED our first night there.

I'm taking the Magic Express to my resort... will I have enough time from the time my plane land to the time the bus leaves to check out the Crocs store?? Another question, does the Crocs store at the Orlando airport carry the Cayman style??

Im dying to get a pair but everytime I go to get this one pair inparticular they are always sold out! :( I plan on having them for our next trip no matter what!

Yes, the store at the airport has tons of Caymans, it's what they have the biggest selection of (it's the original crocs design style).

From my understanding, you get on whatever Magic Express bus is next to load, you don't have to show up at a certain time. Your bags are already tagged and will go to your resort, whether you're on the same bus as they are or not isn't a concern. I would think if you don't board within an hour or two of your flight, it could be an issue for bell services at your resort, but certainly you should have time to shop and eat at the airport if you want to.

I don't think the airport would have let Disney partner with them if they made it impossible for guests to shop in airport stores!

I am in the very small majority who does not like them. I got my DD#1 a pair in March at downtown Disney. She likes them and wears them a lot. I ended up getting the same Mickey pair and can't wear them. They are just too wide for me. Also, when I wear them, they make me feel a little unsteady on my feet. I gave them to my granddaughter and she loves them.

We would have had plenty of time to shop. We hurried to get to the bus since it was about to storm, and had to wait.:confused3 Not very long and our bus went only to POP. I should have insisted on going to the store then because on the trip home it's before security where we had to wait forever. Is it just me or is Orlando's airport backwards? You have to kill time waiting for the plane but all the shops are before security - which took forever to get thru. They didn't want me to take a sealed bottle of juice for a 3yr old but there was nowhere to buy a bottle after security. Like I want to deal with a juicebox on an airplane!
BTW I wear an 8 1/2 but the 7-8 fit just fine -- make sure you try them on! And the jibbitz I bought at WDW I ended up putting in my DDs shoes until I decide if I want another pair with circle holes so they don't get lost.

I also swear by Crocs. I have some flip-flops and a couple pair of Mary-Janes, but I mostly wear the Beach style (I think!). I won't admit to how many pair I have, but my feet seldom ever hurt anymore, even on the 8th day of a Disney trip. I found on our May trip that carrying one of those microfiber towels (really small and dry really fast) helped on water rides. We got totally drenched on Splash Mountain and my feet were slipping around inside my Crocs, so I just took them off and dried the inside of my shoes and my feet with the towel and my feet were good to go (the rest of me was another subject. . .) I wear a women's size 9 when I don't wear Crocs and I wear the Medium-size Crocs.

You might try Shoebuy.com, they usually have a decent selection.

Also zappos.com. Great customer service and always shipping (both ways if you need to return or exchange something!) is included.

Then you need the "Beach" Crocs....much better for a narrow foot.

I just bought my first two pairs and so did DW. We both got Caymans and Disneys. They are very comfortable. I don't know what took me so long to buy a pair.

I LOVE my croc flip flops - I got the ones with the fabric straps & have been wearing them non-stop to get them broken in for our September trip. I've tried several of the other styles of crocs, but just haven't found any that I absolutely love enough to buy. Locally here in Florida we can get them at Dillards or Bealls - I got mine at Bealls but they didn't have as large a selection as Dillards. Also - in the St. Augustine Outlet Mall there's a huge store there that carries tons of crocs. I want to try mine on or I'd take a chance on shopping online. Happy vacations everyone..................:hourglass

I just a bought a pair myself! I got the Capri style though, not the Mary Jane style ones. The MJ's look cute with jeans though (like flares or bootcut) but since I'll probably be wearing shorts or capri pants on our trip I went with the flip flop style crocs.

Are they good for Pooh sized people?? I tend to wear sneakers feel like I need the ankle support will Crocs work for me?

I don't know if they will help with ankle support...check out the Croc home page and maybe they will be able to help you out.

I too thought they were extremely ugly...guess I still do...but I tried the croc sandals...bought them on 08-03-07 and have barely taken them off since. I love them...they are soo comfortable. So comfortable infact that DH and I went shopping this weekend and we had to get him a pair of croc sandals too..and now he is convinced they are the best ever!!:thumbsup2

I have the cleos - this color and white and celery. They are so comfy and not too croc looking. I can't bring myself to get the traditional ones. :o

I haven't worn them to the parks but I have done several 5+hr trips to the Bronx Zoo and my feet felt great. I got my at shoebuy w/discounts and free shipping.

Just a warning - They run SMALL! I have size 7.5 loafers on now, wear and 8 in sneakers and a 9 in the cleo sandals.

I love my Disney crocs and had great success wearing them all day at WDW. My next trip is in two months so I had a look at the bottoms of mine and they are alittle worn, so I just ordered three pair for the next trip (two Disney and a pair of flip flops). They get alittle slippery when the bottoms start to wear down. I wear them on my boat, to the beach and to garden so by October the old pair should be about trashed. Yes, they are not high fashion but I give that up in WDW for comfort and no blisters!

do they run small?

No, they don't really run small they just fit differently than other shoes. They are supposed to be large on your feet. Your foot should not touch the sides or top of them, so if they fit like a normal shoe, they are too small for you. :)

I don't know about ankle support but I do know they are good for Pooh sized people (even very pooh sized people). I have worn my Khaki beaches for two 8 day trips to the World and not one blister or hotspot...with sneakers (yep, good ones that were fitted) I get blisters so bad the first day I can barely walk. Not so with crocs. I am sold :)
