CROCS - I've seen the light!!!!

Welcome to the dark side! :darth: I have 2 pairs of the Caymans & love them. I also like that you can customize the fit by heating them up in the dryer. Mine are just perfect.

Can't wait to wear them to WDW this week. I even bought a few jibbitz!

My MIL has seen the light too. Just yesterday she & I took my DD to a local mall to go school clothes shopping. MIL asked if she could wear a pair of my Crocs and after we were done shopping she said that now she knows why so many people wear Crocs because her feet felt so good after walking so much.

I just bought my first two pairs and so did DW. We both got Caymans and Disneys. They are very comfortable. I don't know what took me so long to buy a pair.

Probably how they look. That's what stopped me at first ;) My daughter who works in a hospital told me about them; she wears them to work and loves them, and she talked me into trying them. My feet thought they died and went to heaven. Now I could care less how they look. If it starts to bother me they are ugly, I just avoid looking at my feet! :)

NOOOOOOO The Dark Side is Universals side of the board saying! lol.

I wish I had of tried crocs out, basically everyone I was with had a pair.

Question: Are you supposed to wear them with socks?

I have the cleos - this color and white and celery. They are so comfy and not too croc looking. I can't bring myself to get the traditional ones. :o

I haven't worn them to the parks but I have done several 5+hr trips to the Bronx Zoo and my feet felt great. I got my at shoebuy w/discounts and free shipping.

Just a warning - They run SMALL! I have size 7.5 loafers on now, wear and 8 in sneakers and a 9 in the cleo sandals.

I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and tried on the 7 Cleos. They were too small. The 8's are too large :( Tried wearing them but they just don't fit. I wish they would make half sizes! My feet are wide so maybe that is why the 7's felt too small, they just weren't wide enough for me. So I bought Scutes (already had several pairs of Beaches) to take too. They seem to be wider than Cleos.

Not sure of you are supposed to but I do (beaches). Like them best that way! And apparently Crocs thinks it's OK as they make Croc socks, in many colors and styles! Here's one:

Hi my family a I just came back yesterday from WDW we all use and love crocs, but my 6 year-old daughter had a bad incident with them while we were getting down in an electrical stair at Epcot. The stair grab her little foot hurting her, luckly she is fine and her foot only has a small bruise but the paramedic told me that this is common because of the nature of the shoe, so becareful when you wear them specially with your kids and in the electrical stairs

We also just returned yesterday. My seven year old granddaughter got her croc stuck in the escalator at EPCOT last week. It ate the front of her croc, but she was unharmed. My daughter did report it to a worker. That worker told her one little girl lost her whole entire croc in the escalator, they were going to write up all the reports last Friday. They also told her there were warnings on the crocs about escalators, but when we checked we could not find any.

I just discovered crocs this summer. we went to Disney and it seemed like EVERYONE was wearing them. So, I spent some time trying on Mickey ones. I wasn't digging on the fit. They felt not comfortable. Then I saw a knock off pair at a truck stop in Louisana. I tried them on and I was hooked.
Then i got hired onto Friday Night Lights. I couldn't wear them for the shoots because they were so not the right color. Then I broke down and got a pair of these.

They're the beach style. They are a medium and i wear a seven and half, so they fit well with socks and the strap in the back. Next pair are going to be Caymans. As far as escalators go, safe is and safe does. lift your feet up when you're supposed to and you'll be fine!!
