Crocs in Alberta

After a week of calling and searching for a retailer of Crocs in the GTA, I gave up. But was able to fine this company, who sells a shoe that looks very much like crocs, and seems to be made of the same material. These could be an alternative for those who can't get them from the states.

I also wanted to say that I was at Payless yesterday and they have Croc imitators as well. They are quite foamy, and though I normally wear a size 8, I'd probably fit in a size 7 better in these. They are "Airwalk" brand. Current price is $29.99 Cad (but only $14.99 USD in the states, boooo)

Unfortunately there are not at all Payless locations yet. I've been checking a few different one around me for weeks now...and nada. :sad2: I ordered the real thing but my girlfriend wants a pair and doesn't have time to order before our trip begins NEXT WEEKEND...woo hooo! :cheer2:

PS - I can't believe the Airwalks are $29.99 what a "croc" ;) . I figured around 19.99 b/c they are 14.99 in the US. Man that sux!

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to tell you that Sport Chek sells Crocs now!!
I bought a pair today!! :cool1:

$34.99, Sea Blue Beach crocs are mine!!!

I love em!
Getting them worn in for our trip in 4 monthes!

A little off topic from the shoe issue, but wanted to give a shout out to scratch42 for having such a good memory. Yes my name did ring a bell to you because I believe we met at a DIS meet in Hamilton a couple of years ago. Good to see someone else also likes to be Canadian!!

Just to let you all know, that www.softmoc.ca sells Crocs. They are only $34.99 - so I wouldn't be paying so much for the knock off ones at Payless, or any off of EBAY since you can order from Soft Moc. Also, just go to www.crocs.com and look for Canadian retailers in your area under the find a store section. I will say though, that they don't seem to update their website that often as other stores in my area carry them, and they aren't listed. Every province is listed with stores in each - some are major retailers, but a lot are smaller specialty stores like in my area and they have good selections. Besides that, as mentioned, Sport Cheks now carry them. Our Sport Chek is moving to a superstore (50,000 sq feet!) so everything in store is 20% - I got my Crocs for $27.00! I'm still not sure what to think though as I got the size smaller because my actual size were huge, but small seems too small as I'm a half size, so my toes are right to the end. I'll wear them for a bit around the house, and see what I think.

Good luck, Tiger
