My 5 year old DD currently wears a 10.5 shoe and she has 2 pairs of Beaches in 10/11 which she loves. I'm guessing that next summer she'll be up to a 11.5 does anyone know if she would need to move up to the 12/13 size? She wants a pair of the new Disney crocs for X-Mas and I'm debating on what size I should order them in when they come out.

I have the same dilemma. My DD is the same age and shoe size, she has Caymans in the 10/11 and they are starting to get small. I am looking for 12/13 for her because I think she will be able to get more use out of them for a longer time.

When my DD was wearing just shy of a 13 shoe, I bought the 12/13. She is in a 1 now and they still fit, although I think we will be getting a couple new pairs for Christmas (if not sooner)

So your DD also wears a 10.5 and you think the Crocs are getting a little small on her? I don't think my DDs are really getting small on her but that might be because she has really skinny feet. I was thinking that if I bought her any new paris and if they were 12/13s that they could be worn for 2 summers. If they are supposed to not touch your feet anyway I thought there wouldn't be any harm in having them be a little on the roomy side.

Yes- my DD has wide feet, so they seem to be getting small. She just measured a 10.5 wide at Stride Rite last week. I think they next size will be roomy, but like you said, she will be able to wear them longer. I will just have to convince her to use the straps on the back! :teeth:
