OK Riddle me this??? While atending our local amusement park ( Paramounts Kings Island)...I noticed a large group of..what I thought , were performers..they were wearing....what apeared to be orange and red..CLOWN SHOES! As They got closer..I noticed they were actually ladies whom had chosen to wake up..bathe, put on make-up, nice clothes...and then DON CLOWN SHOES??? I cannot help but ask the question...WHAT THE HECK???

I have donned FLAMESUITE and am prepared for the worst!

Surely to GOD I am not the only one who CANNOT make sense on the CLOWN SHOE sensation, overtaking our Nation!!!

I bet the NIKE shoe pimps are steamin' over this one!

They are comfy and great to wear to WDW... they can get wet and they dry in no time. I like all the colors. And they go great with my green hair and big red nose!

But I only wear them to work (nursing). They are ugly as sin but soooo comfortable. I wouldn't be caught dead in them any where but work.

That would make me too. My son actually does have a pair and he loves them! I think they are cute on kids, but silly on adults. Sorry. I know people swear by their comfort, but I won't put them on long enough to find out. I would consider them for a job where I have to stand a lot though.

I don't get them either, but so many people love them. I think it's cool that lots of people who couldn't find a comfortable walking shoe finally have one. Different strokes for different folks.

My DD 3 loves them so much!!! She wears them everywhere. So I figured I would get a pair for myself. Nope they are not for me. I think Berkies are alot more comfortable.

You're not alone. The first time I saw someone wearing them, I thought, "why would someone wear icky rubber gardening shoes out in public?". Then a few days later my Stepmom and I were at Sea world and we saw someone wearing them. She said she wanted some of those. I thought she was JOKING and I laughed. Imagine my suprise, when on the DIS people began raving about them.

I don't care if they make you feel like you are walking on clouds, I will never wear those hideous CROCS! But I don't mind if others do.

I'll admit that I was really against Crocs until I saw the Nile style. So I bought some. I will admil that they are super comfy and at least they don't look like clown shoes. They aren't the cutest sandals ever but I certainly don't feel like an escaped member of Ringling Bros. wearing them either! Now the other styles are too over the (big) top for me
