Well, I am one to shirk from anything in vogue, but I tried them on after my mother and sis-in-law raved about them, and boy are they great for me! They feel like wearing house slippers, but with more support. They don't let my feet, ankles or knees get tired when walking. They can be worn to the water park and home again. I only have one khaki pair but I wear them everywhere. I did find, though, that when I'm working, I can only wear them every other day, otherwise I can't stand to wear my regular shoes........they feel too uncomfortable and my feet ache at the end of the day. If I don't wear the Crocs two days in a row that doesn't happen. I've worn 'em all summer, though, so it'll be awful when I go back! I really don't care what they look like, so long as they are socially acceptable to wear (I couldn't go out in my slippers, for example).
I've only had 2 negatives...........the hot Texas/Florida sun going through those holes is one! Be sure to sunscreen your feet if you'll be out in them. And my left one did rub a blister on top of my foot at the lip.........I applied a blister bandage, though, and didn't get any others. With the bandage, I was perfectly comfortable.
