Sorry about another Crocs thread - I didn't want the question to get lost in the other one....and this board seems to have the most answers about them so far!!

About fit - I know they're supposed to fit loose, but are they supposed to be floppy? I wear an 8.5 & had to try on a 10/11 for length. B/c my feet are skinny & flat there was a LOT of room at the top of my foot. Is this normal?
I figured if I wore some thick socks maybe...but would that LOOK funny? And...I tried on Beach, but I read the Cayman's are more streamlined so maybe they'd fit better?

And I've been getting conflicting info about Jibbitz in the Mickey hole style. Do they fit or not?

Thank you!!

i wear socks with mine all the time, really don't care what people think either though. I am not a shoe wearer without socks, just need my sockies. . . i'm an 8 1/2 -9 and had the same issue as to having to go up to the 10-11 for the length. . . however i have a wider ball of my foot so I love the room in my crocs.

Funny, because I wear a 9.5 or 10 but I wear 9s in Crocs.

I wouldn't do Disney any other way than Crocs. Super comfy and my legs didn't hurt as they did when I wore tennis shoes.

I read that the Jibbitz don't work (or don't work EASILY, and might fall out) in the Mickey holes, but DL was selling Jibbitz along with their Mickey hole Crocs, and when I asked a CM she said that she's never heard there's a problem.

Can't help ya with the size, other than to suggest you try on that and the smaller size, and see how they feel. We still can't buy DS Crocs b/c one size his toes are touching the front, and the next size his toes are practically halfway back in the shoe! Gotta wait for him. :)

And you know, to me, Crocs are about comfort first. Yes, there are cuter and uglier Crocs styles (which style is which is solely up to each person), but I can't call any of them flat out cute. While wearing them, I actually lose track of how I feel they look, b/c they just feel so much better than my other shoes (and I don't buy "cute" but uncomfortable shoes anymore). So the morning that I felt the need to wear socks, I wore socks, and I didn't even care how I looked, b/c I was both comfy and warmer. So I wouldn't even worry about that...

Are you sure they aren't too big? The size sounds like it is one size too big for you.

I have really narrow feet too, and just can't wear Crocs because of it. The Caymen style is suppose to be the most narrow pair--but I have them and can't wear them because they don't work with my feet. I also need lots of arch support, and they don't provide that.

I find that Merrell Primo clogs work better. Have you tried those?

I were a size 9 shoe and have the medium (8-9) Mickey Crocs and they fit perfectly. Yes, they are supposed to be loose and mine are, but I've never had so much as a hot spot (unless I put socks on).

I can't help with the size thing too much. All I know is that I wear a 8 1/2, 9 and in the Crocs I usually wear smaller (like an 8).

As for the Jibbitz, I believe someone on eBay sells these little adapter things to make up the difference in size between the Mickey head holes and the Jibbitz. It's something similar in name, but I can't remember it. I'm sure if you did a search, you'd find it, though.

You are not suppose to feel the croc on your feet, but I agree that the size sounds too big for you. The crocs will stretch a little bit.

Love my crocs and they are going with me to DL in Nov. I'm in Michigan and its finally "fall" - I just started wearing mine with thin footie socks for warmth - and it makes them even more comfortable. Yes, I have lots of wiggle room for my toes - but you need to make sure you are not walking out of them.

As for the Micky cut-outs, I would pass. Get regular ones and buy Disney jibbitz. If you can't find them in stores, their website has tons to choose from and ships quickly. My 4yr old son has the Mickey cut-out shoes and all the jibbitz have fallen out. I read a suggestion somewhere to use rubber washers a bit bigger than the bottom of the jibbitz to "fill-in" the space better - sounds good but I haven't tried it.

Good luck!

Oh, one more thing . . . if you want to "cute-them-up", Holey's - a Croc knock off brand, has back straps with sequins and beads sewn on in a flowery kind-of pattern - I think they were $6 or $7 for the pair. I have never gotten more (positive) comments on a pair of shoes : ) I found mine in a specialty garden shop near my home, but they carry them on the Holey's website too.

You might also want to look at some of the new Croc styles, the Alice style is narrower than some of the others, so it might fit your foot better.

Do you know if the narrow styles like Alice or ....can't remember the others name....do you know if they're as comfortable & park worthy as the originals?

Mine fit pretty loose, I wear them with socks to the parks. I see a lot of people doing the same, so regardless of if it looks funny it seems to be acceptable! LOL I even had a few people stop me and ask if they are as good as they hear.

Gotta say today was day 4 in the parks and I don't have a single blister! Feet are a little tired from all the walking, but feel good at night compared to when wore tennis shoes!

Caymans are narrower than the Beach. There are other slim styles, too - Prima, maybe?

I just got back from England/Norway and wore my Crocs Specialists (didn't want holes in rainy England!) all 10 days. Around the 6th day of constant walking, I started to get a blister on my little toe, but I think that had more to do with the sorry socks I wore that day. When I wore my tennies (New Balance) to DL, I got blisters the 1st day.

I wear socks with mine if I'm wearing long pants. If I'm wearing capris, I might wear socks if they're low enough and the same color as the shoes so as not to stand out.

They should fit loosely, but that does sound a little too big. Do you have a Crocs Kiosk around somewhere where you can try on the different styles?

I hope you can find the perfect pair!
