I made this last night and it was a winner. My DD keeps getting the leftovers out of the refrig to eat. It was so easy too!

Cut up carrots and put in bottom of crockpot
Cut chicken in to pieces (my chicken was frozen)
Sprinkle chicken with poultry seasoning and season salt
2 cans cream of chicken
2 cans chicken broth (I didn't have so I just used water and boullion cubes)

Cook on low for 6 hours.

An hour before dinner I boiled 1/2 pkg. noodles. I used thick homemade noodles. The recipe said to use the homemade noodles that frozen and to just put those you don't even have to boil them. I boiled my noodlesbecause sometimes if you don't the noodle areaittle doughy to me. Anyways add the noodle to the broth and break up any big chicken pieces that you have. Let it cook for a while, and serve.

I served it with refrigerated mashed potatoes and it tasted like I had cooked all day.

I don't know why but when I tried to edit this it kept goofing up. I hope that everybody will excuse the errors but I can't seem to straighten them up. Sorry.

This sounds WONDERFUL! But I have a question...the last time I made chicken and noodles, I put the noodles in without first boiling and the whole thing tasted like FLOUR! I don't know what the deal was. I did use egg noodles, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I'd just like to know if you rinsed the noodles first or anything like that?

Thanks a ton!!

I boiled my noodles first and then put them in the crockpot. The recipe said to use noodles that are frozen so I am supecting that they would be fresh and would not need as much cooking. Boiling the noodles and then adding them creates one more step (and one more pan to clean) but I have not had good luck adding dried noodles to the crockpot. They just don't seem to taste right. I hope that this answers your question.

This sounds yummy! I wonder if my kids would like it? I'm having the hardest time coming up with things they will eat lately. But chicken and noodles sound like a safe bet.

What a great and easy recipe:D Made this recipe today and the kids loved it. My husband is not home yet, but I am sure he will enjoy it like the rest of us! It is great to just "dump" everything in the crockpot, turn it on, leave for work, and when you get home "VIOLA"! Dinner is ready. Thanks again for a new idea!

Have you used any variation with vegetables? My DD won't eat carrots. I bet it would be good with peas and limas added to it.

This sounds sooooooooo good. Thanks for planning my Friday night dinner for me. DD won't be home this weekend, so I don't need to worry about the carrots for a while.
