Kidani Refurb Question

With the Kidani refurb scheduled from October 2025 to possibly July 2026 how soon will they start releasing refurbed rooms? I’m trying to plan for Spring Break next year and don’t want to stay at Kidani if odds are slim that I could snag a new room. Thanks!!

They must have a small army of construction workers working on this. Kidani has a lot of rooms, a couple of elevators and that’s not a lot of time. It all depends on how many rooms they take out of service at a time. My guess will be a bunch out of service at a time. While it’s nice to get work done quickly, you also want quality work done.

Have you checked how many rooms they have taken out already?

The refurb starting in Oct 2025 - July 2026 meaning rooms for that timespan have already been taken out of inventory.

My guess is Kidani will be about halfway complete by spring break 2026.

Do you mean service elevators? Because Kidani has four guest elevators - see their names in blue on this map: https://www.disboards.com/threads/akl-room-request.3929477/#post-65038562.

Looking at how many rooms are taken out of inventory in April 2026 at Kidani I see that:

Studios
Out of:
108 savanna views only 51 are left
60 resort views only 51 are left.

1br
Out of:
108 Savanna views only 51 are left
60 resort views only 51 are left

2br dedicated
out off:
113 Savanna view only 53 are left
23 Resort views all 23 are left

3br grand villas
out of
14 Savanna view only 7 are left
2 Resort view none are left

For the grand villa resort view they are all gone since January 10th
