...Which type do you like? There seem to be a few different models. I don't want sweaty feet. Doesn't the rubbery show make your feet sweat? Socks or no socks?

I've only had mine for a month or so but I usually wear socks as it's freezing here. I actually find them more comfy with socks.

They are so comfy I forget they're on my feet! I've walked outside many times only to be reminded of my footwear after stepping in snow! (not fun)

Fleece Socks and Crocks are my fav combo.

I have a pair with the holes and a pair without. I like them both, but find my feet DO sweat in the closed ones without socks.

I have a pair of Beach model and a pair of Cayman model. They both have holes, but other than a subtle sizing difference, I cannot tell the difference between the two. From what I can tell, the Cayman model is sized exactly (7,8,9,10) and the Beach model is more generalized (5-6, 7-8, 9-10). They both seem to fit the same, but for some reason the Cayman's are more comfortable, probably because they are exactly sized. I wear them to work every day (I'm an x-ray tech and am on my feet all day) and my feet very rarely hurt even at the end of a 10-hour shift. I wear them with socks. When it was warmer I wore them without socks, but I really prefer them with socks. I am planning on wearing them around Sea World in March and at Disney in October, but I think wearing them with socks and shorts or capris would look stupid.

Anyone else wear them with shorts or capris and wear socks? I would do it if I thought other people would also.

I probably would not wear them with socks & shorts, but I would wear them with out socks. Alot of my friends wear them with shorts, but no socks. It looks kind of like birkenstocks.

I have the NILE model and love them,,, but I only wear them during the summer months, well actually till end of Octoberish.. The model that I have should not be work with socks since they are open toed. I will say that I absolutely LOVE mine and since I have gotten mine a few close friends have gotten them since.

I wore mine (the ones with the holes) to WDW in October. One day I wore them with socks, and one day without. The day I wore socks with them, I ended up with a small blister on the side of my heel. The day I wore no socks, no blisters, but my feet did get a bit sweaty. I guess I'd rather have sweaty feet than a blister!!

I have three pairs of the beach model (with holes). I wear them all the time with and without socks. I actually wear them to walk on the treadmill with and never have had a problem. I have a really hard time finding a good walking shoe and was amazed at these. I bought mine off e-bay so got them a little cheaper.

I have beach and the ones without holes (I forget what they are called!)

I wear the ones without holes with socks.. and they are super comfy..
if its cold out (they are amazingly warm too!) then my feet dont sweat, but they do if I wear them in the house.

The beach model with the holes do not make my feet sweat at all! I love those shoes!

Anyone with foot problems wear these? I have plantar fasciitis and my feet start to bother me pretty quickly, unless I am wearing my ortho inserts. Just wondering...

I think they would be okay with capris if you wore the really tiny bootie-style socks (athletic). They make them in colors like pink, too, to match your shoes.

I have the Aspen's which I've had for a couple of weeks now. They are closed. No holes. They are extremely comfortable, but without the air holes, they do keep my feet warm. They do sweat a bit without socks, but are quite comfy with just a little pair. This is great for the winter, but in the warmer months, I know I'm going to want the Beach, Cayman or even the Nile (which is the open sandal style).

I ordered mine through ebay as a Buy it Now. (If you'd like to know the seller, let me know.) The price was $10 less than retail, so worth it. I bought and completed the transaction on the Monday of Christmas week and had them in hand that Friday. Christmas eve day, we were in NYC walking around and my feet felt great.

I have a croc with holes in them - I put the strap forward and I wore them all summer without socks. I don't ever remember my feet being really sweaty like they have been in some of the other "rubber" type sandles that I have worn.
I bought them at first with the intention of wearing them to the pool but after I wore them and they felt so good, I ended up wearing them a lot!
In December I brought 2 pair to WDW and my daughter wore one pair. I wore mine with socks on the cooler days. My daughter had never had a pair on before and after walking all day she told me that her feet had never felt so good at WDW.

I just tried mine at WDW for the first time. I also have ortho inserts. I have multiple foot issues, and walking for long periods w/o proper support is torture for me.

I arrived wearing my new Crocs (I forget the name, no holes in top, holes in sides), and they felt wonderful at the airport, and upon checkin, and slowly wandering around the grounds. They feel wonderful on your heels if you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis only. I also use them as bedroom slippers, keeping them at bedside and slipping them on after stretching my heels. They make a huge difference in that first step!

However....the first day I wore them in the parks...what a mistake! Within an hour, the top of my foot was screaming at me! I also have ganglia in the top of my foot, exacerbated by lack of arch support, and lack of motion control. I struggled through the morning, but never did another park in my Crocs...went right back to my Brooks Addiction w/ orthotic.

Long story short...try them for power-walking at home. If your feet hurt, you know your limitations. DEFINITELY try them for light home use, though. They feel like clouds on your feet!

(I use them with AND without socks, depending on the weather.)

I'm definatly getting some of these for my upcoming trip and have been debating about getting them on ebay or try to find them in stores locally. can anyone tell me how the ones withe the general sizing run? i notice for women sizes my choice is 6-7 or 8-9. I can run anywhere form a 6 1/2 to 8 depending on the shoe. I'm leaning toward the smaller size because 9 is definatly too big for me, am I leaning the right way? I'm thinking i should buymy 1st pair in person to get the feel of them but I've looked locally a bit for these and not found them yet. can anyone recomend a shoe chain that would carry them?

We bought DD 2 pairs for Christmas. I would recommend trying them on for a general feel. DD wears a 7.5-8 ladies shoe, and we had to get the 8-9 size beach crocs for her. I normally wear a 9-9.5 shoe depending on the shoe and had to get the 10-11  While I could wear the 8-9, my toes went to the end of the shoe and I was worried at WDW it might cause problems. The 10-11's are a bit roomy but i'm hoping the looseness doesn't adversly effect my wear around the world, they are very comfortable.

Hallmark card stores are where we bought ours. We also found them at Rack shoes in the mall.

I have plantar faciaitis and LOVE my crocs. I love them best with socks ( I have the Beach), I wear the tiny ankle socks. They are also fine without. The only problem I had, was I got a blister on top of my foot when I wore them without socks at the parks--I think it was because of the rain, and my foot rubbed the top of the shoe. The Niles were not that comfortable to me.
