CRO Has My $ Floating in Cyberspace - Should I Be Upset?

Hi -

Just a "heads up" for anyone who paid CRO last weekend when they were going nuts on the computers with the ticket price increases and whatnot...

Also, any suggestions or past experiences with this??

Called Sunday to make final payment with Debit/MC on our upcoming YC stay. CM takes the #, then says it's not going thru on their end. She tries again. "Nope!", she says, you'll have to call back - the system is just not taking payments right now.

Monday AM, I find the e-mail confirmation for my entire ressie, which indicates that not only ONE payment went thru - but TWO! I call CRO. I get sent to three different departments. CM looks it up and says - "we have already caught it - you're not the only one this has happened to. We'll get it straightened out."

Got my package papers pronto - lol - showing I paid $710 more than the package cost. Ditto on the 2nd e-mail. When I check my checking account activity, the two authorizations are there - no further info. I know with Debit, the authorization and the actual withdrawal are days or even weeks apart - but I don't know how CRO operates.

We're leaving in 6 days and things are nuts with last minute stuff. Should I call AGAIN or just wait til we get there and check in? I'm not really worried that eventually I would get the money re-deposited - or if they even have double - I'm more distressed with the original glitch and now having to straighten it out.
