I called CRO this morning to change my ressie from 6/29-7/12 to July 1-8. I wasn't sure which dates I could actually go when I made the ressie. The CM tells me I can't change the dates they are not available. I said why not, I already have the room reserved. She still insisted that I could not change them there was nothing availalbe for July 1. I started to become very upset, when we got disconnected. I called back and got a different CM. I once again asked to change the dates, she said she would check, I explained that I was already told that there was no availablity. She says, let me try. Okay, Next thing I know she says you are all set for July 1-8. How wonderful !! Too bad not all CM's were so easy to work with.

Sounds like CM #1 tried to enter a whole new reservation for your changed dates and wasn't able to, thus the no availability answer. CM #2 modified your existing reservation by dropping the days as they should have.

Glad it worked out for you. :)

its amazing how many people get cut off the telephone line when a little tension between cro and the costumer happens!( it has happend to me and many of our friends)

I swear, Disney has some reservation CM's who's job is to simply give replies that cost you the most money!!

Over the years, I remember twice I called to make reservations well in advance, and been told the ONLY thing available ANYWHERE onsite for my dates is a suite at Coronado or Grand Floridian for mega bucks, and how lucky I am to have it! Then I would politely decline (as I rolled my eyes  ) and call back later, and find AP discounts at all the moderates!!

It's like, every morning, maybe 30% of the CMs are assigned to tell every caller that only the suites at CS or GF is available, and maybe another 30% are assigned to tell everyone only water views at deluxes are available, and the next 30% say only cabins at FW are available, the next 10% are assigned to actually look for discounts .... and so on .... ;) Ok, I hope I am kidding here!! (but who knows?)

So maybe your first CM looked at how much money Disney would be losing by shortening your reservation, so they "declined" to do it ........

It's such a game to deal with the reservation people at Disney!!! Like everyone says, call back and get a different CM when you can't get what you want! :)
