My FP window is approaching in a few weeks ... Please suggest/offer advice to the below plan.

1) we will be coming off a late night when we visit this park. We won't plan to be here at RP but with small kids I expect we will be there by 915.
2) straight to EE, hoping for short standby wait times
3) FOTLK (FP the ten show)
4) safari (FP 1030-1130)
5) lunch
6) dinosaur
7) triceratops spin
8) Kali river rapid ( FP 130-230)
9) Boneyard play area
10) finding nemo ; 4?

Supper @ Rainforest cafe

We enjoy all the trails, and looking at animals so hoping to fit that in btw some of these "scheduled points"

Have never gone put to rafiki planet ... Would really like to, unsure where to fit that in

Please suggest a quick lunch spot

Please and thank you

I loved both Flame Tree Barbecue and the Harambe Market for lunch. Yak and Yeti is also good (Chinese food, basically). Can't go wrong with AK quick service, IMO.

Your plans look great. The EE lines might be somewhat long, but they don't usually get bad until about an hour after park opening, from what I've seen.

Why not just make Lion King your first planned activity and use the FP+ you have dedicated to it on EE later when you are in the area. It will also save you from having to walk all the way across the park and eliminate being stuck in an EE line.

Exactly what Nilla said. Flame Tree Barbecue and the Harambe Market are both great... probably among the best quick service on property. Looks like a pretty good plan. Between 4:00 and 5:00 (assuming the park closes at 5:00), the line for Expedition Everest and DINOSAUR will start thinning out, so if you guys want to hit those a second time then that will be a good opportunity.

Good point.

If you can get on the safari quickly, I would just go to Rafiki's Planet Watch from there before lunch. I would probably also move the dinosaur rides to after KRR to minimize backtracking. I also like the previous poster's suggestion to use a FP later in the day for EE and just go straight to the FOTLK show when you get there.

I agree with others that you will not need a FP for the 10 am FOTLK. We have done the 10 am show twice in the last several months, arrived about 9:55 for both of them, and had no problem getting in.

I would not necessarily recommend arriving 5 minutes before because it can fill up, but if you get there 10-15 minutes, you should get in without a problem.

We usually FP Kali, KS, and EE. We have also used FP for meeting Mickey and Minnie (when Kali was closed last week).

My plan would be to do whatever you do not FP as soon as you arrive. We did Everest on our last trip when it was super crowded. We arrived around 9:30 and the wait was only 10-15 minutes. If you get there at 9:15, you should be able to ride Everest and still make it to FOTLK, then you could FP Kali, KS, and Mickey and Minnie.

OR you could get a FP for EE, Kali, and KS and do Mickey and Minnie as soon as you arrive (we have also chosen to do Russell and Doug first thing before seeing FOTLK).

You might be able to fit in Rafiki's Planet Watch right after your safari. It typically takes us about an hour or so to do. I like it, but my daughter (9) never gets very excited about it. I think it is worth seeing at least once. We have seen Chip and Dale there, as well as Rafiki and once we met Jiminy Cricket. It can be a good place to meet characters. I am not sure who is meeting there now, but it was Chip and Dale and Rafiki in September.

We love Flame Tree Barbecue for lunch. I think Pizzafari is good, too, if you like pizza.

There is a small stand that sells buffalo chicken waffles that are really interesting, if you like that sort of thing.
