If your trip is this June I don't think anything Avatar will be open yet.

Also, I don't think you'll be at the resort much to take advantage of the CL Apps. For example, if you have a FP at 5:30 on day 1, you'll need to leave AKL around 4pm to make the FP.

Make sure you allow 1.5hrs. travel time between locations.

On day 2, you might not want to ride Kali before the trial hair appt. You could be completely soaked from head to toe. I know they like day old hair for updos, so wet hair might not work as well. If your rehearsal party starts at 8pm that day, you need to be at the bus stop at 6:30pm. Not sure what time your hair appt is but keep that in mind.

On day 7 you won't make a 7pm fastness with a 5:30pm dinner. I'd make the FP for 8pm or later. That way you can relax and enjoy without worrying about making the FP.

Have a wonderful wedding!

How fun! I'd be exhausted, but who cares, what a cool wedding!

I wonder if you should maybe leave Day 4 as a totally open day - just go with the flow? That may just be my bias, we make one day where we have no plans and just go with the mood.

Everyone is different, but FWIW, we stay CL and don't usually "plan" out evening appetizers. If we happen to be there when they are out then we'll take advantage of them, but I don't go out of my way to get back to the resort just because they are available. I just find once you're there and wrapped up in the momentum of the day, sometimes that CL app time gets tossed aside for something else, be it travel, you stayed at the park longer than expected, being lazy by the pool, etc.

Also FWIW, I know Disney says allow 1.5 hours travel time like the PP says, but respectfully, I think that's overkill in most circumstances. Especially for something like a FP where you have the hour window plus the 10 or 15 minute fudge time they give you on the end. I would respect the travel gods for something important like a critical ADR time or your rehearsal, but for average travel, it just shouldn't take that long. Just my opinion!

Good luck, congrats!

Thanks everyone! If we miss a fast pass, we won't be devastated and we are ok with ditching the CL apps if we don't feel like being at AKL during that time :).

For Epcot... We don't feel like there are many rides we care about to go on in the morning instead of AK. I would like more time for the world showcase but going a second morning wouldn't be as useful for us I don't think since it doesn't open til 11am.

Thank you :) it's ok if we don't end up sticking around for the apps if we decide to ditch to make sure we make a FP on time. I'm trying to make the FPs as late as I can before the park closes. I'm hoping we will
Get some late hours or extra magic hours! For Kali River Rapids... Good point but my hair is blond and gets super greasy if I don't shower the day of so I plan to shower after Kali River Rapids maybe without conditioner :)

I'll make the MK FP later!

You have alot of pool time. Would you rather be in the parks or wandering around Disney Springs?

Looks great! I would choose Soarin over Test Track for EPCOT fast pass. New Soarin is amazing! If you do not do Tusker house for lunch, Boma for dinner is great.

Yes, avatar absolutely won't be open.

I disagree with that, to me it looks like they are really hauling *** at the moment. I think disney might try to pull off a opening to steal press before the water park at universal opens this summer. We'll find out nov 19,20 what's going on. if it could be by summer they should say it's a spring opening otherwise it's later in the year if they keep quiet on when in 2017.

There is a chance Avatar might be open. It's hard to know, but Disney has said that it would open sometime in the year 2017. They usually try for summer releases, because that's when the crowds come. What I'm interested in is how you got a Rivers of Light time, or are you just hoping it will be at that time? Also, if you get a fastpass from 8-9 for any Avatar attraction or any other attraction, Rivers of Light only holds 5,000 people I hear. That theater can fill up quickly, so it might be better to not have a really late fastpass and use one for the morning if you want to stand in line for that show. You could also use your third fastpass for the show. You could also possibly change your lunch at Tusker House to using the dining package for the show. This advice is only if it is open by then which it should. It is rumored to open sometime this month, or it could be in 2017 when it opens.

Another issue I see is you are not allowing enough travel time between resorts and your fastpass. You are staying at AKL which is the farthest resort away from the Magic Kingdom, and it is still a pretty decent bus ride over to the other theme parks. Animal Kingdom will be the closest to that resort. I would always allow an hour and a half to travel from one resort to a park, or from one park to another. If you are late for your fastpass, CM's have the right to turn you away. They almost did once for me when I said I waited over an hour for transportation at my hotel. The CM didn't seem happy to accommodate though. You are given about 20 minutes past your fastpass time I believe to show up late.

On your final day, you are transferring to the Grand Floridian and wanting to make rope drop at the Magic Kingdom. Most likely the park will open at 8 or 9. If you want to be there for rope drop, I would suggest leaving AKL by 6 or 7 in the morning to check-in and drop off your luggage with bell services at the GF.

You will love your reception at the CG with fireworks! I had mine there in 2006, and people still talk about it!

I definitely wouldn't leave a park just to go back for appetizers at the resort. I probably wouldn't do two mornings at AK either. On your Day 5 I'd probably do a waterpark and then go to DS or Epcot at night.
