I also couldn't help but find it odd that the characters feel like family yet she only hugged one of them goodbye but she was supposed to stay with the team "until the end of the week." Aren't Garcia and Spencer her son Henry's Godparents? I don't know why but it just seemed odd that Garcia was concerned that they will drift apart but JJ will be staying in the area and Garcia rarely travels so it seems natural that they will stay close.

Yes, the whole writing was off for that ending. They should have made her leave then, instead of giving her a week. Did she get to hug them when the week was up? Maybe Hotch didn't hug her then, as he knew he & the team would see her throughout the week.

Then we see Garcia hugging J.J., so it's obviously cut to her last day. But, no team hug for us to see.

And yes, the writers seem to have forgotten Garcia & Spencer are Henry's godparents and they should be able to get together some times.

Bad, sucky writing.

As a side note, we just found out a friend of ours who is an actor in LA will be "the bad guy" on the November 3rd episode!! He won't tell anyone about his role, but we know he's "not nice".

Yay! Remind us who to look for when the time comes.

Just my luck ... nothing on TV that I'm even remotely interested in so I switch over to A&E where they're airing CM episodes. Well, like I said, just my luck, it's an episode I've seen 3 times already.

I think that means it's nap time for me.

Oh, but you can learn so much!! Don't EVER walk into your house if your door is open. If the power goes out for no reason, get the heck out of dodge! Don't let any computer or service men in your house. Constantly check that no pictures have been reaaranged or that tiny cameras have been installed behind things. Get a dog who will not be swayed by meat, LOL. NEVER answer the door to a man holding and animal he supposedly ran over. And NEVER turn your back from the tv camera. And if a little boy comes up to you lost in a store, take him to security, not to where he "thinks" his dad might be. OH,when jogging, if a van asks you for directions, keep running!!!!

Seriously, this show has made me think twice about the way I would act in certain reactions.

Or stay at a small roadside motel..........that episode always gets me because of the conversation that Prentice has with Reid & Rossi I believe. She says something along the lines of "I'll never stay in a motel" and Reid says something along the lines of "you think of that stuff?" and either she or Rossi say "You don't?" I love that interaction - I am sure I totally butchered it, sorry.

As for Reids hair, I hate it! I love geeky, smart, innocent and sometimes child like Reid.

The cast of Criminal minds has been part of an ongoing eBay fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Last week, this auction for A.J. Cook's autographed, personal copy of her script for her farewell to "JJ" episode came in at a whopping $1,475.00!!! 23 bids! (Compared to some other scripts where the high bid was only $15.)

A.J. tweeted last week:

Well, that was an incredibly creepy episode.
Glad to see they've dialed down all the gore, and are focusing more on the psychological elements, rather than showing us all the bloody, brutality.

Interesting to see how Daniel J. Travanti can go from one of the most well respected police captains, in Hill Street Blues, to such a creepy, evil guy in 25 years.

I miss J.J.

I scrolled down to the bottom of this page because I didn't want to see the spoilers. Stupid Time Warner Cable. We have three channels of CBS, one in HD and 2 regular. On each channel, the show was so distorted and pixelated, I couldn't watch but about 10 min of it. I'll have to look for it online tomorrow. I'll check CBS.com in the morning.

I'm watching the new episode as I type this Has anyone else noticed that Reid's hair looked slightly different every episode this season?

So, I love Garcia, but they get rid of JJ and then increase Garcia's role on the show(at least for this episode) AND she'll be in the new CM?

I don't like this new Garcia look.

Somehow, I don' think she will be able to pull it all off. She & Hotch will realize she needs to stick to computers. Maybe that's how they transition her to also doing the other CM? She gets "promoted" back onto computers to working on multiple teams?

Do you think Morgan's going to get in trouble because he's talking to Ellie all the time? I don't think it's a big deal, but I have a feeling Strauss won't like it. Especially since this is the episode description for next week: "The BAU team is on the trail of a serial killer targeting families throughout the Midwest. Meanwhile, Morgan is concerned when Ellie runs away from her foster family and pays him a visit."

How does Ellie know where Morgan is? They aren't supposed to tell even their families where they are going on a case.

I have feeling he ends up fostering her or adopting her. Several weeks ago, I posted something one of the producers said about how one team member keeps in contact with someone from the Season Premiere, who ends up affecting that person for a long time.

Good episode...I didn't like "New Garcia", either. Of course, only Morgan could have talked sense into her. I would have a hard time not listening to Morgan, either
Rossi didn't have much of a part, huh?
I am glad that once again, Hotch gave Penelope props. I do admit I have a problem, I'm just nit picking. But if they were on such a time crunch, how did Garcia have time to get dressed and do her hair and makeup before she called the guys employer? I assumed that Morgan putting the glasses on her was enough for her to start acting like herself.
And why did Hotch get onto her about not letting him know that she had contacted his employer. She didn't know it was the employer of the unsub until she called him. So she couldn't have notified Hotch prior.
