They are going to tie the two series together by having Garcia working on that show, too, as their technical analyst. The end of last week's episode, where Hotch said he would set it up so she could be more efficient in her computer room to ONLY be have to be doing all her tech stuff, is probably setting the story line up so she can plausibly be work two teams/two cases at a time.

Criminal Minds did great in the ratings in it's time slot last night with 14.30 millions of viewers! :woohoo:

I went to the library last night and picked up some light reading. :lmao:

And why post that on the Criminal Minds thread? Here's what I picked up -

"THE PROFILER
My Life Hunting Serial Killers & Psycopaths
Pat Brown"

I LOVE to read. Give me a good book and I'll keep quiet for a couple of hours. By then I'll be finished and need another book. Seriously, I love reading. Our library is really small so I often ask them to get books from other libraries for me.

I really like John Douglas. Here's a review of his book "Mindhunter" -

"John Douglas is the FBI's pioneer and master of investigative profiling....In this chronicle of his remarkable and chilling career, he allows all of us to accompany him into unthinkably dark places where we find the bloody tracks of the Ted Bundys John Hinckley Jr.s, and Charles Mansons. With Mr. Douglas we explore why there are monsters."

Knowing that y'all enjoy Criminal Minds and the like, if you enjoy reading, he's a good author.

Here's a link to the books & DVD protion of his website -

At the very least it's something crime related to do while waiting for the next CM episode! popcorn::

I have 3 interesting things to share today! Imzadi, you're usually the one with all the news but I've been home sick all week so I've had way too much time on my hands and I've spent the past hour and a half digging around online looking for CM rumors. I'm kind of losing my mind

This one isn't news but it does relate to CM. This video is one of the funniest and most disturbing thing I've ever seen all rolled into one. :rotfl: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/b6...na-with-joe-mantegna?playlist=featured_videos

This isn't a valid rumor but it's still fun. I was just on the CM wikipedia page and found this: "The Criminal Minds feature film is in the works and is due for release by 2012. Mandy Patinkin will be returning as his character Jason Gideon in the movie." I know wiki isn't a good source so there's a 99% chance that it isn't true but I can dream, right? :thumbsup2

This is a semi-spoiler, but not really. Basically if you don't want to know anything about the future episodes don't read it  I heard that some episodes this season are going to focus on the "secrets" of the BAU members.

"Executive producer Simon Mirren tells us that Reid's secret will be a doozy and that it's connected to his "genetic past." But not every reveal will carry the same weight this season. "Some of them are very emotional, and some of them are very simple," says Mirren, who's writing a special Garcia episode. "Garcia's is not a depressing secret. You really see another side of Garcia that we haven't seen in six years of working with her. It's kind of shocking in one way and fantastic in another.""

If anyone wants to know what Garcia's "secret" is, look at this post on the IMDb message board. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452046/board/nest/172591739?d=172591739&p=1#172591739

Sorry you are sick today, Tink.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

And we thought Criminal Minds was scary!!! :scared1: :teeth:

I think I need a sedative now, to forget that vid. Joe Mantegna is hilarious. :rotfl2:

Joe's Twitter was #43 of the most popular Twitters to follow a few weeks ago. He's really got this social networking down. :thumbsup2

His wife owns a restaurant called, "Taste of Chicago." Jay Leno was in it last week to watch one of the ball games, hang and munch out. :drinking1 popcorn::

I really like John Douglas. Here's a review of his book "Mindhunter" -

"John Douglas is the FBI's pioneer and master of investigative profiling....

I like Pat Brown. I see her doing interviews on Nancy Grace & Jane Velez -Mitchell (sp?) She reminds me a lot of Prentiss, super ambitious, very intelligent, not much personality. I wonder if Paget patterned her character after Pat Brown? :scratchin

The other book reminds me, I went to some mystery writers semimar with a friend ages ago. FBI profiler, Robert Ressler was one of the speakers. He was one of the original profilers who started the whole BAU. He cam up with the term, "serial killers." I don't know what they were called before then. :confused3 I guess, he'd be Rossi or Gideon on the show.

He talked about how HE ended up with a stalker, who ended up somehow getting into his home while he & his wife were there. :scared1: When he described it, you could hear the fear in his voice. :scared: He had to call the police to get the wacko out.

I just saw the preview for tonight's episode again. It looks sooo creepy! popcorn::  It's Halloween themed so of course it's creepy!

Was anyone else's sound screwed up? All I got was music and no voices. :badpc:

I have sound.

I wish I could pull off Garcia's look, especially tonight's. I like the orange hair. Maybe for a non Old Fogie I could dress as Garcia.

Okay I got the sound back. Yuck! Not sure I that was a good thing. :scared1:

Kirsten has some people who are dressing up like Garcia for Halloween, on her Twitter page. Some of them have her look down. I'll post a few of the interesting ones later. :teeth:

oooo I love those pumpkins!

Did anyone else see Hotch and possibly Morgan running away from an exploding/burning building in the preview? It seems like Morgan is always running away from exploding buildings :rolleyes1

I love seeing Hotch with Jack :lovestruc

"Hotch you ran into a burning building?!" That made me laugh  It's almost like he was thinking "That's supposed to be my job!"

Hotch is going to be in trouble for running into that burning building. I wonder if we are going to see Strauss again. :(

Ugh, I hope not :headache: I thought we were going to see her when Morgan was texting Ellie all the time.

First: What a waste! What an absolute waste of hatred in that guy. :sad2: If only he had known sooner what he had to live for. :(

Hotch & Jack!
