Cricut??? What is this all about?

Ok...I am an Old School Scrapbooker (plain and simple pages)..then I saw this CRICUT advertisement commercial. After reading a few threads..this seems like a wonderful tool for me to "update" my techniques.

So, then I become confused...big bug, little bug, new bug, cartridges, etc.
Can someone give me the best deal idea and which one I should get? The Disney things/pictures are on my DH's list to buy!!!

Santa is waiting for my answer in which one to get..Hobby Lobby and ACMoores both have some coupons each week. Hopefully, we can choose the week that they are cheaper using that.

coupons usually aren't good for Cricuts, but ACMoore has a great bundle on the Expression with 4 carts (including a font) for under 400$ every few weeks. The expression will take up to a 12X24 sheet of paper the regular cricut will only take 12X6 max, which might make some of the disney things need to be too small to layer effectively.

I use my two fonts all the time - the shapes - not so much.

I love my baby bug (cuts up to 5.5", mats are 6x12) and it's all I have room for on my desk. If I had the room/money, I'd probably go for the E-Bug

I have both Cricuts and love the both. I tend to use the big one the Expressions more, but if I'm cutting something small I use my little one.
I'm also a simple scrap booker, I use 99% Creative Memories stuff. That's way I started off with the small Cricut to see if I would use it and like it and I sure do love it. My albums are still simple but nice. I'm not into brads, bottle caps any thing bump on my pages. I can't say enough how much more fun the Cricut makes scrap booking. No coupons can be used on Cricut stuff at ACM. If you can get the ACM Expressions bundle it's a good deal at $379 it comes with carts you can't buy any other way. Good luck, Nancy

I just got the ACMoore bundle from the UPS guy tonight I am so excited! Go for it - it's a great deal and shipping is just $5! I also ordered the spatula tool - it was $6.
