Cricut Expression bundle $299 ACM - talk me in/out of it NOW!

I didn't even notice the freebies! It says mail in rebate, so you must have to buy all that stuff in addition to the E bundle and get a rebate back.

Maybe - but yuck (for the process!). I guess I was assuming you mailed your E-bundle receipt in and PC mailed you the accessory kit. Maybe not... :confused: It does say "check your local store for details" so it is worth checking out in any case.

Oh for sure! Freebies are good, but those mail in rebates suck (and I've heard horrible things about PC following through on rebates and free carts)!

That is their online price. I don't have a store locally :( Well, actually there is one about an hour away that I guess for an incredible deal we would travel to.

I know that DH's plan is to get me the Expression for my birthday or Christmas but that isn't until the end of the year and I want it NOW!!!;)

I'd say...see if your local store will honor this week's ACM price (link below). (You'll probably have to print out the ad below and take it into the store with you.)

Oh man! Thanks for the link. Now I really want to go to the closest ACM and get this! But DH just left with my car, DD has a friend over and I am fighting a migraine. Guess that means no. But there is always tomorrow. . . :teeth:

:cool1::cool1: Congrats!! :cool1::cool1:

It's true. I have both. I use them both constantly. I could never have made the 20 scrapbooks for the first grade with out the big one and I just like the ease of the little one. I'm going to wear them out my DH says. These swaps really work them good. :teeth:

I've used the markers alot. I use them for the really scrolling type fonts for titles. I use the marker and then cut it out in a rectangle. It just looks cooler sometimes than the black printed fonts and my DH doesn't get that look when I want to print titles in color. :rotfl2: The markers are much more cost effective for me than printer ink refills.

DO IT! I thought immediately of you when I got that email. That is the exact price I paid for mine, on Black Friday a few years back, and it is a great deal.

I have both bugs. I use the expression 99% of the time, but I can't bring myself to get rid of my baby bug. It hasn't completely collected dust, though. I have let a friend borrow it, and I have brought it to crops when I had a lot of cutting to do and I didn't want to be a Cricut hog.

You definitely will not regret buying the big one. It's not just being able to make bigger cuts - there are several other features that make it worthwhile.

I just saw the infomercial for the expression and went to the store. There I found the expression and the create. What are the differences between the 2? Newbie scrapbooker here.

:wave2: Hi Kim!

I think one of the biggest things is that the Create is smaller and is designed to be portable. You can take it to crops,to a friend or relative's house or even easily store it away and pull it out to use when you are working. Good if you have limited space. The Expression is larger and heavier and is intended to be left in one place to be used.

The Create cuts paper sized 6x12 (you cut your 12x12 paper in half) while the Expression can cut an entire 12x12 (or even 12x24). The Create is an upgrade from the original Personal Cricut in that it cuts much bigger and has other upgraded features.

If you think you want something a bit smaller and portable then the Create would be a good choice. If you have the space (and money) then the Expression will give you the most flexibility to do things in lots of sizes.

I am sure there are many more differences but these were the ones I focused on when making my decision.
