cricut disney piece sizes

What is the smallest size you would cut disney characters on the cricut for layering? Is 2-3 inches too small.....I know I will have to use tweezers, I am just trying to find out what the smallest feesible size is. Thanks!

It depends on the character. Mickey & Pooh carts seems like you can go smaller with them. I haven't tried full body super small, but I've cut heads out at 1.5". Princesses...5" seems too small most of the time.

I wouldn't go smaller than 2", I prefer 4 or 5".

I don't go any smaller than 4 or 5. The eyes are killer on the Princesses and Fairies. Also I find I have trouble with fingers on small cuts.

Go for 5. The characters take alot of work and your want to make certain that they are present on the page. If you choose to go with smaller like 2 or 3 inches you may accomplish more by using a gel pen on the smaller colors than using actual little pieces. Things like tongues, eye color ect.

I forgot to say, they look smaller made up there is often a hand, wand or ear that makes up the height. The actual character is smaller.

I borrowed a friend's cricut and bought the Disney cart. I could not for the life of me get the characters pieces to be proportional. I am no slouch when it comes to technology but this baffles me.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

The trick with the characters, is once you start cutting a character, DON'T CHANGE THE SIZE DIAL. Also Real Dial Size must be off.

If you cut the base at 5". Leave the dial at 5" for the face, hair, clothes, etc. When you cut out shoes at 5", it doesn't mean the shoes will cut at 5" it means the shoes will fit a character that is 5".
