Cricut Craft Room digital files

Has anyone purchased and used these files? Are they hard to work with?

I'm a little leery - but I really need a filmstrip "frame" for a "hollywood homecoming" page for DD's scrapbook.

I've not done hardly anything when I had the trial version of the design studio. I just need something that will let me be a little flexible on the filmstrip size.

Thanks Reddy - I don't have a clue about SCAL.

I think I may just take the plunge later today. It was only $12. Certainly have spent more than that on other crafting ventures that didn't work as planned...

I have some of the craft room purchase files. I found them pretty easy to work with. My only frustration was getting my computer to talk to my new E2, it took 3 hours and many failed tries to get the drivers loaded to the E2 so that I could update it with cricut sync. But then the cutting only took a few minutes.

I have downloaded some of the free files so far an I have not had a problem using them. Resizing is easy. My only issue with the new software (besides gypsy link that they claim to be fixing) is that I can't seem to get the 6x12 turned sideways on my screen so I can see the whole thing at once. Drives me crazy!

Cheryl, I have a file that I made in Design Studio. Do you have the Mickey cartridge? Let me see if I can find a photo of it...

Found it. I can easily edit it to take out the character names, just let me know.

I wish they would link the darned Gypsy already! It's so annoying to load them from the Craftroom to the Gypsy to cut. I love their products when they work, hate them when they don't!

Yes thank you! I have all my carts in 3 banker boxes (I keep the cases) and now I have to rummage through the boxes and find the cart I need or hook up gypsy. It is such a pain!
