Cricut at walmart

I don't know if this has been posted before, but my local wal mart has the cricut machine for $194.00. That's the cheapest I have seen it anywhere!

I just got my Cricut yesterday at Walmart--it was the first time I had seen them there. They also had lots of cartridges for $60.00. That's the lowest price I had seen on the cartridges.

I started playing with mine last night, and I love it!!

Mine didn't have any either. What section was it in? I looked in electronics and in crafts. It's not online either, I checked this morning.

I posted a thread about this the other night. Joann's has the Cricut machine on sale for $189.99, cartridges for $57.99, and accessories 30% off. The salesperson I spoke with said that the sale price is at all Joann's and that they will be priced this way at least through the holidays. Personally I won't be getting one because I already own a Wishblade, but I have been tempted at times.

The Walmart people love me! I bought my Cricut last weekend, and then, after playing with it, I had to go get the Doodlecharms cartridge tonight. I can't wait to get it out and play with it!!

Brooke, where is it in your store? I didn't find it in mine....

Doodlecharms was the 2nd one I got too. SO many cute things! I use the pocket and tag from that one all the time! Then I got Tags, Bags, and Boxes...perfect for all these swaps! When I'm doing a swap, I have 3 mats going at once. DH says I'm having WAY TOO MUCH FUN when I'm using it.

I gave my cartridge wish list to DH for Christmas, has some old and new titles on it. I asked if he still had the list, and he lost it...sheesh, glad I asked

At my Walmart, they are in what I think is a weird place. They are on an endcap at the end of the scrapping aisle, but instead of being on the endcap where the crafts/material stuff is, they are on the one that faces the clothes, and up to the automotive. I think I might be the only person buying them, though, because nothing seems to decrease, except for what I bought!

I gave DH my cartridge wish list, too, and told him to "share" with my mom. I LOVE the doodlecharms, and I am wanting Animal Kingdom (that's #1 on my list), Opposites Attract, and maybe Zoo Baloo or All Mixed Up. At least, that's the wish list!

I stopped by my local Michaels today and they had the Cricut for $179.99 and all cartridges were $49.99!
Needless to say I now have some new toys!

STOP MAKING ME JEALOUS!!!!! They are only just starting to arrive here in the UK and the cheapest prices I've seen them is OVER $400 and the cartridges are over $100 each so the chances of me getting one is somewhere between......zero and none

If that is in US that is just CRAZY! You can get a Wishblade practically for that price.

The price for the machine here is £225 (x 1.80 conversion rate) and the cartridges are £60 each.
Now you know why UK visitors to the US stock up (altho' we're only actually allowed to bring back £143 of goods from non-EU countries so we can't go too mad unfortunately ).
