I have arranged a 1BR at OKW for my BIL SIL and their two kids--one an crib sleeper--we have never had this issue for our trips...what is the situation with the packnplay crib--are their sheets provided? DO you request them ahead or at check in?

We just returned from BWV - traveling with a 6 month old. There was a pak n play in the closet with one sheet. We also had a highchair in the same closet. The baby didn't sleep well in the pak n play - we called housekeeping and requested a full size crib. They delivered the crib to our room that day (also with one sheet). The crib is a "stainless steel" type; one side of the crib does lower (it took us awhile to figure that out!). No blankets are provided though, so you'll probably want to pack those.

Hope this helps!

The full size cribs at just like a hospital crib. I saw them for the first time my last trip. It really took me by surprise to see one of those cribs being wheeled down the hall while I was on vacation. Since I work in a hospital, it sent shivers down my spine and was much too close to reality for me while I was in the land of Mickey! LOL!! :jester:

Was there an extra charge for the crib? Is there anyway to get a blanket without having to bring one?

We just got back from VWL a couple of weeks ago. There is no charge for the crib, they only provide a thin sheet. I brought a sheet from home and double layered it. We had a few extra towels in the room because I purchased an extra towel package. I used an extra towel as a blanket. You might be able to request one but I'm sure all they have is the blankets that fit the large beds in the room, and that would be too much blanket for a child in a pack in play. Personally, I wish I could have stuffed that pack n play in my car and brought it home with me. My DD 9 months, slept every night, all night long in that pack n play, and hasn't done it again since we returned home!! Have a great time!

There was no extra charge for the crib but I believe they are in limited supply. When we first called, they did not have one available but someone checked out that day who had a crib. They called us back within the hour to tell us that one was now available and they would bring it up. We had brought a couple of baby blankets from home (as he likes his own) so I don't know if they could provide you with any. The other item is that there are no crib bumbers. That did not prove to be a problem for us (the rails are set close together) -- our baby stays quite still while sleeping. I might suggest that if you think you want the crib that you call MS to see if you could add it to your reservation request.
