Creme brulee, anyone?

I enjoyed the caramel banana creme brulee at the Kona Cafe...

Both the Kona and Yachtsman sound great! Any idea how late the Yachtsman is open for a late-night drink and dessert?

There is a cocktail lounge right next to the Yachtsman named the Ale and Compass. I am sure if you go in there for a drink, they will glad to get a Creme Brulee sampler from the Yachtsman. I would go before 10, if that is what you want, to make sure that the castmembers can still get the desserts for you. I know that the last seating for the Yachtsman is around 9:30 pm. I would think that the cocktail lounge would remain open for a while after that.

You Dis'ers are the greatest! I knew you'd have some answers. Last trip in '03 (my creme brulee tour) I had the milk chocolate c.b. @ Fulton's, maple @ LeCellier and even got one from Victoria & Albert's after hours, courtesy of an ingenious c.m. at Grand Floridian. Of those, I think the Fulton's was my fave (yes, even over V & A's).

But I heard even back then not to miss the c.b. @ Yachtsman, with the one at Future World also strongly recommended. I, too am wondering how late one can order this @ Yachtsman -- the bar next door sounds promising & I'll check it out. If anyone else knows about the Future World one, could you confirm?

Did anyone mention the Butterscotch Creme Brulee at Tony's Town Square...my husband and I cannot miss this every time we go to WDW!

STOP, STOP, STOP!!!!!! Creme Brulee is my very favorite food group and I'm on a diet. I didn't know one could salivate while looking at a computer screen! Have pity...Yes, I'm too weak to leave the thread.....HHHELP!

(It has been said that creme brulee is the very REASON I visit WDW..not completely true, of course...)

Gosh, you all are KILLING ME! 1st Japanese Sno Cones, not CREME BRULEE!

My favorite is the Banana Caramel Creme Brulee at Kona Cafe. I had the Creme Brulee sampler at the Yachtsman, which was wonderful, it included Vanilla, Baileys and Grand Marnier. If you haven't had it, just go in for a chocolate martini and that dessert... YUM!!!!

OH MY GOD!!!! This sounds absolutely Heavenly. I must try it. I love creme brulee!!!!!

I really like the creme brulee at CRT. It's called the capuccino creme brulee and it's served in a little espresso cup with a biscotti and a chocolate spoon! It's devine!

The creme brulee at chefs de france is also excellent.

I know I'm bringing up an old thread, but since I haven't been back to WDW in almost 2 years, things could've changed!

Anyone have a thought about where to get the best creme brulee at WDW?

Oh this is just great! My DS (13) finally tried creme brulle at chefs de france and fell in love with it!! Hopefully he won't see this thread and realize that he can take a creme brulle tour and sample all different kinds throughout WDW!! That's all we need. LOL

OK, you guys made me try it yesterday in France. Uh..it's just burnt sugar on top of pudding. I was expecting something good LOL. This was, un, burnt sugar on pudding.

DM Rick - Hmmm.... It should be burnt sugar on top of custard. Sure that pudding wasn't a custard dressed in disguise ? Don't let it disappoint you -try another one someplace else.

Ditto to the Fulton's c.b., but honestly, if you had a negative impression of it, that's because it wasn't very good. If it tasted like pudding rather than custard, it was WAY too thin. Try again!

It was custard, which I don't think it very different from pudding...I did think it was good pudding LOL. Hubby scrapped all the burnt sugar off of his..couldn't figure out why they would want to ruin the "pudding" lol.
