Credits - are there any limitations on what you can order?

Hi All,

We are off to stay at the Poly (from the UK) in May and have the Disney Dining Plan free as part of our package. We have booked one signature at Narcoossees and I was wondering if there are any entrees that are excluded from the plan i.e. the more expensive lobster offerings?

Same sort of question about QS credits - for example we plan on eating at Flame Tree BBQ but there are some more expensive 'sampler' / 'combo' plates. Would we be able to get one of these for a QS credit?

Thanks in advance,
Fi

As far as your QS credits - you will be able to use them for any entree at any QS location - combo meals and the like included. I am not 100% sure about the offerings you mention at Narcoossees but I believe that all of the entrees would be included as part of your plan - just additional items such as side dishes would not be included, but could certainly be ordered and paid for out of pocket. I'm sure there are plenty of others here on the DIS that will have experience dining there on the plan and can speak to that specifically.
Enjoy your trip!

Thank you - it just seems like some of the entrees at Narcoossees are twice the price than others!

The lobster entrees (mains) at Narcoossee's are included in the dining plan, but Narcoossee's is a signature restaurant so it will require two TS dining credits per person. Further down on the menu, there is a Lobster Tail enhancement ($27) that can be added to any of the entrees that is not included in the dining plan and has to be paid for out of pocket if you choose it.

At some restaurants there will be an additional upcharge for their most expensive entrees such as the Wagyu Beef at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Thank you - good to know. Looks like I am having lobster for dinner then! Understand re the credits - we've allocated 2 per person so that is fine. I know some people don't think it is good value but it is SO MUCH FOOD the rest of the time we can make it work fine.
