How much real cash will we need in the parks? What (if anything) is cash only? I have sit-down ressies, and I assume they're plastic-friendly. But, what about souvenir shops? Snack stands? Counter service? Stroller rental?

Leaving Saturday morning, quick replies appreciated!

I like to have $50 in cash on me for things like Balloons, ice cream and stuff like that.

Hey there! We love visiting the shore in NJ! :) We'll be there Sat. also. WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I'm planning on having about 50 cash and my CC. If I remember right... a lot of the vendors on carts are cash only. Counter service you can charge to your room so I assume you can charge it also. Restaurants-no problemo.

Where r u all staying? We'll be at the PC!

Only 5 more days!!!

Talk about quick responses! Any other imput GREATLY appreciated!

We'll be off-site at my MIL's timeshare. Close but with the convenience of a kitchen, etc.

Which Shore do you go to? We love Ocean City.

omgoodness :) I just noticed our girls share the same name! Do you have anything fun planned for her bday while you are there. My dd and I have shared about 5 trips together since she was 6. I've put together all kinds of neat surprises including a bday trip for her. They will truely treat her like a princess at WDW. Let me know if you need any help with making a magical day for her. My dd will never forget prince charming bringing out her bday cake and singing happy birthday to her (and neither will I). The look was priceless. WDW has all kinds of fun and neat things they'll do for little princess bdays. :)

We have friends in Ventnor City but frequent OC as my friend grew up there and we love it there. :)

Well, I made special T-shirts announcing her birthday to the general public. And, we have CRT for breakfast. She'll be all decked out. She was Cinderella for Halloween.

But I hadn't really figured on ordering a special cake or anything. I kind of thought we'd just see what happens. We told the hotel and it's in our dining reservations.

Since you'll be at the castle... If you are there when the Tinkerbell Treasures store opens up (its right behind the castle in Fantasyland) - she can ask to wake up tinkerbell. They have a wand and a special ceremony and they'll give her a special certificate. Then Tink flies around the store all day.

*go to MK city hall guest relations- bldg on the left as you pass under the train station at the front gates - to get a MK bday button for her to wear (it's very cute) (All the parks have bday buttons - you can get one from each park) My dd celebrated her bday for about 4 days. Many of the restaurants have special bday deserts they'll bring out or even a bday card signed by all the characters. Chef Mickeys at the contemporary is great! Have a great time!!!!
