Okay I tried to look through some of the credit card threads here - lots of abbreviations I dont understand lol...
Wondering if anybody knows of any current good deals for balance transfers? I'd like to get a lower interest card. Thank you!

Yeah it can be very overwhelming. He’s a good list of churning abbreviations. Also if you want to get into churning don’t forget about bank accounts. They are very easy and can be really lucrative.

All credit card companies are competing for the same customers. Typically, they make their money from the interest you pay on unpaid balances (if you don't pay it off each month) and the fees they charge merchants when you purchase something. Which card is best for you depends on: 1) how much you spend annually, 2) if you pay off your balance each month and 3) how often you fly and on which airlines. If you don't pay off your balance each month, the extra interest you are paying likely exceeds any other 'benefit' that card might offer. I see lots of pages discussing credit cards, but those are the key things to consider and will vary by person.
