My upline told us last week about the possible changes to the ordering minimums, however she said she was told at the Leaders conference that they will be revamping the shipping also, something to be inline with the direct ship online for our customers. She didn't know what they would do with the TTY discounts.

I for one think the 150 could be good for us overall, but the shipping could be a problem, also the loss of the TTY products would be a huge bummer.

I have considered dropping down to a hobbyist and only ordering for myself and a few friends just to get the discount. I am staying positive and rememebering that CM has been in business 20 years and they are not out to get rid of their consultants so I am sure the change should be a good one.

I have decided that I think I am going to become a consultant. I have some ideas on how to do some crops with Diana's school and possibly a scrapbooking cruise with carnival. Prices in October are cheap for a 3 day cruise out of Miami and it would tie in with my travel agent buisness. Oct 12th-15th Nassau and day at sea is only 269 inside and 199 3rd and 4th. Outside I think is 289 but nor sure. I already have thee people who will do parties for me but I need to con some more people into having them lol

Hi to all!! I'm a CMC from Mexico for about a year and a half and guess what?...a couple of weeks ago they just announced that they have to close here in Mexico The scrapbooking here is just starting, so maybe thats the reason for the low sales.Maybe in a couple of years they'll come back.

For us the requirement is that you sell $4000 pesos (almost $365 dollars) worth of period over a three monthsperiod.And for anything that I sell my comision is 25%.

I usually sell the products to scrap stores or friends.And with my comision I use to buy what I want.

These days are so crazy, because now we want everything and we don't have enough money.

And for all of you CMC's I'm going to need you in the future!!

I can ask my upline to clarify all of this during my call-in with her next week. She's one of the ExDirs and is a great source of information.

I've been a personal use consultant for over 5 years now, and even though I try to do more, it just hasn't worked out. But that's the beauty of CM - you set your own pace! Now that we're planning a trip to WDW in October, I have a great incentive to schedule Get-Togethers! Light that fire!!!

I heard from an upline in my area that they are going to require an order every month of 150 retail. And that you can opt out a total of 2 months out of the year. But the shipping is still being worked on to make it profitable for regular old consultants too.

Right now if you order just the minimum every quarter you are spending 72 in shipping per year. If they keep the same shipping price and you have to order every month that would make the shipping increase to 216!! That is just way to much, even if you could opt out 2 months that still makes it 180, over 100 more in shipping per year.

If they went the 7% route that would make shipping = 126 per year (ordering all 12 months) which is still an increase of $54. I personally would rather spend the 54 on product and not shipping. Even if you opted out the 2 months that would be 105. A little better but still 33 more a year.

The shipping factor may be the make or break deal if I continue to be a CMC. I will make sure I stock up like mad before the new ordering requirements take place.

I hope they don't mess with our limits over here! I can just about sneak £50 retail through (we get 30% discount) without DH noticing, which at current exchange rates I suppose works about the same as your $150 retail before discount. Luckily my little circle buy a few bits here and there so I don't have to spend it ALL myself

The new ordering at $150 should be noted that this is RETAIL, so you would receive your discount on that (currently 30%). This is actually less than the current requirements with the two months you can skip.

Also, in July, there will be new ways to promote and you can earn "commission" (will be called a bonus) again starting with your first recruit.

Shipping and the Thanks To You program are changing - details will be announced at Regional Conventions (most are in February).
