I would like to put together a small (probably non-Disney) basket to leave at with the Club Level staff when we stay in December. I've been quite the pain for them I'm sure with changing around ADRs and everything else. I'm thinking non-Disney since I'm sure they see enough of that every day. What are your thoughts on what I should put in the basket for them? We live near Hilton Head Island, SC so I thought maybe some stuff from the Island and maybe Charleston and Savannah-kind of like a little taste of our "home away from home" for them??

I'm going to post this on the resort board as well but was hoping maybe you guys had some ideas too!

TIA!:goodvibes

NOt sure if you might be interested in this but I'm going to make the staff at Nathan's Dr's a candy bar boquet....He broke his leg (on mother's day none the less) and they spent 2 hours making phone calls to try an find a pediatric orthopedic dr who would take the health insurance he is on....to me that is above and behind their duties and I appreciated it so much...he has his 2 yr check up on 8/14 so I was planning on trying to make one for them...I figure everyone likes candy right??

What a cute idea! When you're done, would you post a picture? I'd love to see it. Thanks for the idea!

This is what I'm going to aim for it to look like....A girl I work with made one she said you just get the skinny wooden dowel (sp) use a dab of hot glue to attach to candy bar to the wooden dowel stick...get the green foam to put in the bottom of the pot to stick the wooden stick dowel in then decorate with the colored celophane...sorry I'm not a very good speller but I hope you get the idea of what I'm talking about...

Sounds like a very cute idea! Your picture says that it's been deleted. I made DH and DS4 a "candy cake" by taking the round foam pieces and hot gluing them onto a cake board and then gluing all the pieces together. I picked out some wrapped candy (I didn't use chocolate since the party was outside and it was warm) and glued it onto the foam pieces. To cover the top, I used a cute cupcake wrapper and glued ribbon and candles onto the top of it. Kind of sounds basically like your idea just more of an "arrangement".

Duh sorry I deleted it when I was cleaning out my photobucket...trying to make room for more disigns:rotfl:
