I think that is true but it has to be someone who has NEVER heard the message and was able to make a choice. I think by the "end of times" all of the world will be able to make an informed choice.

But what is "the message". Ask 20 people and you'll get 20 answers. For me, "the message" is what I feel in my heart, not what another mortal insists it to be.

As a Christian, I believe the message is as Jesus Christ, (who was not "another mortal") said it was; "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, No man cometh unto the Father, except by Me".

I believe God created Evolution.

Me too. I'm a total Evolution believer but everything on earth had to start somewhere. We might have evolved from simple molecules on a cold spinning rock we call earth, but I believe God created those molecules. But teaching Creationism alone and the Adam and Eve fairy tale in school is ridiculous, imho.

Neither, as I am not smart enough to justify a belief in either.

On a side note, it's Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. ;)

evolution - but I also do not believe they are mutually exclusive:)

(ETA: having said that, I feel the only one that should be taught in public school science class is evolution - creationism belongs in the church, or a comparitive religions course. To me, one is science and the other is religious belief.)

can't sum up my beliefs any better than that :)

I'll add that I think "God" can be Jupiter or Odin for whatever difference it makes...

Creation, I believe the Adam and Eve story to be the truth

I believe in both technically. I totally believe that God created the world, but back in those days we don't know how much time was really in a day. I think that evolution is worked in there some how.

Two things; 1. God created Adam and Eve in his own image apparently, so unless God has also evolved......
2.Humans weren't here at the beginning of the world.

the word image here is actually translated likeness. It does not refer to physical likeness but a spiritual likeness. Like the fact that we have feelings and emotions (which God also happens to possess) I believe in both!!!:thumbsup2

I believe in the Biblical account of creation. I take literally the story of Adam & Eve, etc. However, the Bible says:

2 Peter 3:7-9

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Well, I have to say creation. I don't believe we evolved from a rock or a pile of goo. Our minds, brains, thinking processes, the way our eyes see and basically everything our bodies do couldn't possibly be done if we started as a rock. The way our bodies work and the way men and women are made to fit together so well....someone had to have created that!

I agree wholeheartedly with this. I don't see anything scientific about creationism so I don't believe it should be taught alongside evolution like some do.

However, I see nothing wrong with a religions course of some kind and believe it could actually be quite interesting. :thumbsup2
