crazy to attempt US or IoA Sunday night?

We have the 7-day passes to US and IoA and can go anytime, but we did not spring for the express pass, and I'm using an ECV. The crowds at SeaWorld yesterday, Friday, weren't terrible, but it was definitely a challenge with the ECV at times.

Would I be insane to attempt US or IoA late Sunday afternoon/early evening, say 4 pm or 7 pm? I know weekends are always crazy at the parks, but since we're leaving Thursday and are also going back to SW a second time, it would be nice to get some of the Universal stuff in tomorrow evening.

If we do go, which park should we go to, and what would be worth trying to do with a late arrival? What should we avoid?

Thanks!

The parks close at 8pm tomorrow so you won't have much time.

If you go at four, it should be doable. Not dead by any means, but doable.

I hadn't checked the hours yet, but thanks for that info! I am surprised they close so early tomorrow! We were at SW until 10 last night.

If we were to go at 4 pm, would it be worth it?

Depends on the crowd really...if it's crowded you probably won't be able to do much.

Yes, its worth it and doable in my opinion. I would go to IOA. If you get there at 4, you have 4 hours. I went last Sun afternoon and the crowds were very doable, wait times between 15/30 mins, start with the less popular rides first, then around 6 30 move onto Hulk, spiderman, wait times will be less at those rides then.

So DW and I were at both parks today and it was our first trip and it didn't seem to be very crowded. We went to do The Hulk around 2 or so and it was a 10 minute wait...our longest wait was Spiderman at 30 minutes earlier in the morning. I was slightly confused as to why it wasn't busier than it was since it's summer and the weekend :confused3

It may be summer for some, but up North in PA our kids aren't out of school yet. Last day tomorrow. :teacher:

Last week of May and first week or two of June is usually pretty slow. That is when we book our vacations because even at Disney, the parks have a decent crowd level.

I used to work at Disney many years back and this was about the time we started to see the increase in people coming in to to stay.

I am surprised it was not busier during the weekend, but I bet if RRR was open the crowed level would have been allot worse. :cool1:
