Crazy Eights take on the World: Spoiled Silly (Aug 2011 TR) Life Update: May 23!!!

Its All Pure Magic Wrapped Up in Pixie Dust
August 23, 2011

So the next morning the Alarm went off at 6:30 for our last park day ): It’s always a sad day when you realize your trip is coming to an end. But we weren’t going to let it get us down!!! We had too much to get done. So we were out of the room ad on a bus by 7:30 to make it to our first Magic Kingdom rope drop.

We arrived at the park at 7:46 exactly. We made it through the baggage claim and trough the turnstiles JUST as the park opening music started.

IMG_5496.jpg

But really I would not have a problem being one of the trolley people for the rest of my life. Getting to open the Magic Kingdom EVERDAY what a life.

We watched the show and it was just so magical then everyone started squeezing through the archways into the park. It was time to

IMG_5498.jpg

Mary Poppins I love you!!!

IMG_5499.jpg

There were people EVERYWHERE.

IMG_5500.jpg

Our first order of business was to head over to Tomorrowland and get fastpasses for our last rounds on Space Mountain. From there we headed over to the Indie Speedway.

IMG_5504.jpg

I haven’t been on this in forever I feel like

IMG_5507.jpg

Andy loves driving fast/race cars. To bad these cars got like .5 miles per hour haha

IMG_5508.jpg

Sam was just chugging a long behind us

IMG_5509.jpg

From here we decided to knock out all of the Fantasyland rides before the crowds got there. What better place to start than

IMG_5515.jpg

Zero wait. They were basically just waiting on us to ride.

IMG_5516.jpg

I love how these next two photos came out

IMG_5522.jpg

IMG_5524.jpg

That last photos makes me sad. I look so tan. Unfortunately when I go down in March I will be loading up on sunscreen because the show I am in this semester the director sent us an email saying we need to be as pale as possible to fit the time period… BOO!!!

Our next stop was

IMG_5527.jpg

Andy’s dad calls him Roo so anytime I see these two I always think of that

IMG_5533.jpg

After years of knowing but never seeing I finally witnessed with my own two eyes they picture in owl’s house of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to the ride to owl

IMG_5534.jpg

Oh how I miss Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride although that is the ride that gave me my irrational fear of weasel’s haha

Up next

IMG_5539.jpg

We were really knocking these rides off quickly there was basically no one around, Anyways my next question is… Does it bother anyone else that Wendy is the only one on this ride that wears actual clothing? Or am I just the only one who notices it?

IMG_5542.jpg

Ariel wanna be

IMG_5547.jpg

I was tigerlilly in 7th grade so I automatically just love her. Although here her eyes are really creepy.

IMG_5548.jpg

Another shot of Wendy being the only one without painted on clothes

IMG_5550.jpg

After that we tried to make it on Haunted Mansion but we didn’t realize that Frontierland didn’t open until later. We waited the 15 minutes until they dropped the rope and just as we were about to het in line for Haunted Manison they told us it was broken. Sam and KC had to get to the picture taking spot (the dance studio was having a group shot taken in front of the castle) So we decided not to venture to far. So we headed to Sleepy Hallow and got a funnel cake

IMG_5555.jpg

While we were eating Andy made a friend. He wanted so badly for the little bird to come and eat out of his hand but the bird kept his distance.

IMG_5556.jpg

As we were leaving we saw the stepsisters who sam really wanted to meet

IMG_5557.jpg

but the line was so long. I asked if he wanted to wait and she said no because she had to get to the picture meeting place so we decided this picture would work well enough. Smile…

IMG_5558.jpg

IMG_5559.jpg

We split up. The headed to the rose garden and we hung out in front of the castle until we could get new fastpasses.

Tune In Next Time!!!

Now It’s Time To Say Goodbye…
August 23, 2010

So while Andy and I waited to get new fastpasses we decided to have some fun in front of the castle.

IMG_5562.jpg

IMG_5563.jpg

IMG_5564.jpg

IMG_5566.jpg

IMG_5565.jpg

So when it was time to get more fastpasses we headed over to Splash Mountain. On the way there we stopped in one of the stores to trade my vinilimation (remember I still had “big baby”)

IMG_5569.jpg

The lady was actually really sad that I gave up Big Baby she said “no one ever wants to keep this poor thing, there are like three of them in this box” which honestly made me a little sad but didn’t make me sad enough to keep it haha

We headed over to Splash got the fastpasses and still had some time until we were to meet up with Sam and KC so we hid out in the Splash Mountain gift shop and sucked up some of the air conditioning.

We got the text from Sam and we were headed back over to Tomorrowland to use these guys

IMG_5571.jpg

We decided it was so fun that we would jump in the stand by line and when we were done with that we could get more fastpasses so we grabbed one more round for Space Mountain.

After a thrilling ride through inner space we headed back over to Frontierland to ride Splash Mountain with these

IMG_5578.jpg

IMG_5579.jpg

On a hot day like this all I wanted was to get soaked

318292_10150752669805507_859095506_19833435_1146040_n.jpg

We did so much back and forth walking on this day. Next we were off to Haunted Mansion to walk through the new queue.

I don’t really get what these two have to do with the ride but I would love to learn more about them. They are so intriguing.

IMG_5580.jpg

IMG_5583.jpg

I tried to get a picture of her eyes. Didn’t work.

IMG_5584.jpg

We were off once again to the other side of the park. But not before we traded our vinilimations (for me my last trade)

IMG_5585.jpg

Sam got Marie, which she probably would have stayed with had the back not been so scratched up and gross

319069_10150752621310507_859095506_19832611_6757293_n.jpg

I got Dodger. The one that I saw online before we left, the one that made me get into trading these things, the one that I had my heart set on finding

IMG_5570.jpg

He to this day sits happily on the counter in my kitchen. Which makes me wonder who had this before I did. How many people just passed him a long. Kind of sad. But it makes me happy that I ended up with him. So that end’s my vinilimation trading for this trip. But no worries I already have a new one for my March trip.

Continuing on to Tomorrowlad and Space Mountain

IMG_5585.jpg

After the ride we were starved after all, all we had had to eat was some funnel cake. So we headed to Cosmic Rays, a lunch I had been looking forward to for a long time!!!

I gave everyone my spare change so that we could get Mickey straws.

IMG_5588.jpg

Here is Andy’s and mine’s tray . ½ rotisserie chicken and a Philly cheese steak. Andy was kind enough to get the carrot cake for Pa and I got chocolate gelato. Which Sam and KC didn’t know was an option and were bummed that they didn’t get but it basically ended up melting before I ate it anyways. As for the philly cheese steak it was DISGUSTING and I would never get it again!!! I wish I had gotten chicken fingers. I ended up eating like half of it and then eating a container of pickles.

IMG_5586.jpg

Sam and KC both made the right choice. Chicken nuggets and chocolate cake.

IMG_5587.jpg

We decided to head out. Saying goodbye to the Magic Kingdom is SO SAD.

IMG_5577.jpg

One last shot of the castle

IMG_5567.jpg

and then of course Minnie and Roy. I wanted to sit with them but the bench was SO HOT you could have cooked and egg on it.

IMG_5590.jpg

And then it was See Ya Real Soon Magic Kingdom…

Kind of heart breaking

Tune In Next Time!!!

Open Up Your Heart and Let the Memories Begin
August 23, 2011

So after waiting 8 years we finally caught a bus back to the hotel. Once we got back we decided to go for a quick swim!!! It was really fun, they had a dance pool party and a drenched t-shirt relay race. The sky began to look like it was going to open up and we were getting sleepy so we headed back to the room. Drowned rats.

DSC04480.jpg

We got back to the room and it started to pour

DSC04485.jpg

Perfect time to take a nap!!!

DSC04470.jpg

DSC04469.jpg

So I got up before everyone because I wanted to get all showered and ready for dinner than night at my favorite place in all of Disney!!! Well, that and Sam and Andy LOVE sleeping for as long as possible.

So we were all just about ready to go. Sam was sporting her new Tiana skirt that she bought.

I did photo tour of the castle and got this shot. Look at how giant that window is!!!

IMG_5595.jpg

Door Pictures, we clean up pretty nicely if I do say so myself.

IMG_5598.jpg

Sam’s and KC’s is a little blurry. But you get the picture

IMG_5597.jpg

So the four of us were off to EPCOT for a splendid dinner. One of our must returns after last trip. Gobbled that food up, more on the later!!!

When we arrived it was just barely drizzling, all that work on curling my hair and the humidity basically killed it… haha

Anyways, we had a while until our reservation so we decided to hop on Spaceship Earth. Haha those photos always make me laugh

IMG_5600.jpg

IMG_5603.jpg

So from there we headed over to dinner. I WAS STARVING!!! Basically I went into beast mode and was on a mission to get me some of my favorite dinner in Disney.

IMG_5604.jpg

But not before our annual photo opp…

IMG_5605.jpg

IMG_5606.jpg

AND THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMG_5607.jpg

HOLY MOLY I ALMOST DIED!!!!!!!!!!

IMG_5610.jpg

But really, Sam still makes fun of me for the stupidity that came out of my mouth

IMG_5609.jpg

IMG_5611.jpg

I was literally the luckiest girl in “the world” that night and I still am. Andy is perfect and I cannot wait to start our lives together (after he graduates of course, so we are looking at 2-3years).

IMG_5613.jpg

IMG_5614.jpg

So we got inside and I had to call EVERYONE!!! Aka Ma, My grandmother and my best friend Julie. While I freaked out for 8 years Andy went and checked us in.

IMG_5619.jpg

SO AFTER ALL THAT EXCITENT, I was so worked up I hardly ate anything… me the one who was so hungry and couldn’t wait to get into the restaurant didn’t eat half of my food and I didn’t order a dessert. BUT I did get pictures of everything and we will be returning in about 10 days to eat the delicious meal I missed out on!!!

Just like last time we all got Pollo a las Rajas - Grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onions, chile poblano, chorizo (Mexican sausage) and melted cheese

IMG_5624.jpg

Literally this is the best richest creamiest mouth watering chicken you will ever eat. The photo always makes me laugh because after our first time there we looked through photos and Sam looked at it and said “I ATE GREEN RICE?!?”. It is so dark in there we didn’t know what was on our plates but we always chow it down. It is also a HUGE portion. Mmmmmmm, I cannot wait until we meet again plate of deliciousness.

So desserts came out

Andy got some regular vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls, I think I ate 75% of it, usually I hate caramel but I was all about this. They put candles in it and said sorry that they didn’t have an engagement song to sing to us.

IMG_5625.jpg

The other two I don’t know what they are because all of the dessert on the online menus are no help but here are some pictures anyways.

IMG_5626.jpg

IMG_5627.jpg

Tune In Next Time!!!

Well This Is A Lame Night!!!
August 23, 2011

Going back in time for the last time. Really quickly. Ma and Pa had gone on a date to Kona Café. I’m not sure what they ate, but if I recall correctly they weren’t as pleased with it as they thought they might have been but it was still good?... just not the best. Don’t quote me on it though.

So some pictures of the happy couple (enjoying some tropical drinks)

DSC04489.jpg

DSC04490.jpg

And now for some food!!!

Steak of some sort?

DSC04491.jpg

Another drink?!?

DSC04492.jpg

They weren’t so good at food pictures because they went right into dessert haha

DSC04493.jpg

This must have been what my mother said she wasn’t a fan of because she only ate half of it…

DSC04495.jpg

DSC04494.jpg

So jumping to the future, which in this case is in the past because this trip report is taking me 8 years to get done!!!

Incase you got lost, we are back in EPCOT, Ma and Pa arrived there just as we were getting out dessert (or special ice cream with candles)

DSC04505.jpg

I actually really love this photo, but it makes us look like babies. Or maybe we just look like babies in real life. But I am 22!!! Maybe that baby face will come in handy later on down the line when I am an old lady.

Anyways!!!

So we went outside and waited for Danielle and Adam to arrive. While we were waiting we headed over to Norway. I was freezing!!! I ran to use the bathroom and when I got back we hopped in line for Maelstrom.

Even though his picture is completely blurry I think it captures our peronalities perfectly

DSC04506.jpg

Then Danielle found out that we had just gotten engaged as well. So we took a sister picture. YAY DISNEY ENGAGEMENTS!!!

DSC04507.jpg

So after an amazing ride through Norway and a lack of movie we exited, my parent bought some more drinks and while they were stopped I saw that they had VOSS water, which you can get in groceries stores here in NY but Andy refuses to let me buy it because it’s like $7 a bottle. SO I used my snack credit for the day on it, I had been stock piling them the entire and since it was the last night I figured why not!!!

IMG_5630.jpg

Such a good decision!!! It was like straight from the heavens, ice cold and perfect. And I was in Norway drinking it to even better!!!

This is where I am a slight mistake. We were all really tired and for some reason freezing, that cold rain and my dress and air conditioning were not doing so well for us so we decided to head out early. Mind you it was like 10 or 10:30 and the park was open late for extra magic hours which we had originally planned on staying for but we decided to head out early. Or last night in Disney and we were calling it a night really early!!!

So then I said something a long the lines of “what a lame night!!!” and everyone started laughing and said “Hey now Andy tried really hard” and of course I have yet to live it down and apparently the night we got engaged will always be “a lame night” haha.

IMG_5631.jpg

So we headed back to the room. When we got back to the room Andy and I decided to walk over to Downtown Disney and see what was still open. We stopped in the design a tee store and made shirts but they weren’t going to be ready until the next morning.

I got back to the room and decided to take pictures of my pretty new bling. Literally he could not have done a better job!!! Emerald cut Amethyst is what I have always wanted/told him (for some reason I am not a huge fan of diamonds but I do LOVE purple)

IMG_5635.jpg

IMG_5637.jpg

IMG_5639.jpg

And one more. I took this in the sunlight because it sparkles so beautifully

321223_10150755883475507_859095506_19869573_5412478_n.jpg

That’s enough of ring pictures now. So we came back and finished up the sad task of packing to go home the next day ):

Ending on a happier note though

IMG_5640.jpg

Tune In Next Time!!!

Thank you :lovestruc and thank you for joining in!!! If your kids are anything like the children in my family they will be sad when they have to go to Disney without you!!! I just got back from a trip (first one without my parents/siblings) and let me tell you it was almost as sad leaving them behind as it was leaving Disney on the last day of the trip.

Hello... if there is anyone still there... I am back!!! I hope that haven't lost to many readers. Life has been crazy andI can't believe it's been over a month since I last updated this. We loved it so much WE HAD TO GO BACK!!!
A Spontaneous Spring Break Trip Report

Hope you enjoy and I'm so sorry to keep you waiting!!!

Last Day To Play!!!
August 24, 2011

It’s always a sad day when you wake up and it’s almost time to go home. But knowing that we still had almost one full day left ahead of us we were wake at around 8:15 and reluctantly started the day.

IMG_5642.jpg

Everyone showered and finished packing. I took one last look out at our lovely view.

IMG_5681.jpg

We finished packing and we headed over to downtown Disney to pick up the shirts that we had ordered the night before. Ma and Pa stayed behind to check the luggage for the plan ride later that night.

It’s our last day but we’re going to make the most of it!!!

IMG_5688.jpg

I had to get photos of everything between our room and the design a t store. Including this cute light cover. All the little finishing touches Disney put on everything are just perfect!!!

IMG_5690.jpg

Everyone stand on the front lawn for one more amazing picture of the view

IMG_5695.jpg

IMG_5696.jpg

The sun is shining not a cloud in the sky and we are still in Disney, enjoy it while we can!!!

IMG_5697.jpg

Ok so maybe we don’t enjoy it all that much.

IMG_5698.jpg

Catching some last minute lizards

IMG_5700.jpg

Our castle in the sky. Seriously the weather could not have been more perfect on our last day

IMG_5701.jpg

The walkway from our resort to down town Disney was so quiet, peaceful and short

IMG_5702.jpg

We picked up our t-shirts and we headed over to Goofy’s Candy Company to wait for everyone to meet up and get on a bus to our 11am breakfast reservations at 1900 Park Fare

IMG_5703.jpg

Disney rice crispies are seriously unlike any other. I wonder what the secret is to making them so irresistible.

IMG_5712.jpg

Andy and I went to put our shirts on while Sam and Kc played in the water.

IMG_5704.jpg

Then I got a call from Ma saying that they were still waiting on the bellhop to come get the bags to send our bags a head. So we stayed there and played a while longer

IMG_5706.jpg

We got another call shortly after saying that when the bellhop finally got there he told them that all the people in the party had to be present with photo IDs in order to check the luggage. So they told us we would have to allow time in our schedule later to make sure everything was taken care of and that they would get to the bus stop as quickly as they could.

We got in line for the bus at 9:55 so that we would have plenty of time to make it to the Grand Floridian by 11. We enjoyed a nice relaxing sit at the bus stop

IMG_5708.jpg

IMG_5710.jpg

It was all going well, we were as happy as we could be for it being our last day. One last family meal before we were off and incase I didn’t mention we were going to the 1900 Park Fare Breakfast!!! Couldn’t wait to get Mickey Waffles and try out a new place.

Happy Happy Happy. Engaged and wearing cute shirts. What a great day!!!

DSC04529.jpg

So we waited

And we waited.

Danielle and Adam had called and let us know that they got there and checked us in for our reservation and asked us to hurry

And we waited some more

And then it was 10:55 still no bus with a half an hour ride to get to the restaurant. It was then that we realized that we wouldn’t be eating Mickey waffles that morning…

Danielle called us to let us know that if we hurried we could still make it, they stopped serving breakfast at 11:30!!! To bad it wasn’t that simple there still wasn’t a bus there to take us. An hour had passed and not one single Grand Floridian bus came by actually none of the buses from the monorail loop had come during that hour or else we would have gotten on one of those and taken the monorail.

Well tension was running high since we had gotten up so that we could have one last delicious meal together. All I wanted was a bagel. So my father talked to one of the transportation people who was standing nearby and they said there was nothing they could do for us. Which they thought was funny because on one of the first days there they were at Blizzard Beach and they had waited so long that a special van came to pick them up.

Oh well, so we were all really crabby because we had been looking forward to breakfast and it wasn’t going to happen. So what did we decide to do instead? Go shop of course!!!

DSC04530.jpg

IMG_5712.jpg

Of course since we were having a bad day we had to buy some ice cream to make ourselves feel a little less sad.

IMG_5713.jpg

IMG_5714.jpg

And let me tell you it made us a little happier so I guess it worked.

From there we decided to walk back to Saratoga Springs and see if there was anything that they could do for us over there.

DSC04532.jpg

Here we go…

DSC04533.jpg

Oh yea and then I spilled ice cream on my new shirt and it stained. But that would be the least of our worries for they rest of the day. Whatever do I mean?

Tune In Next Time!!!

OMG you make me want to go see Winnie the Pooh or Peter Pan right now.... and lets not talk about the funnel cake.... mmmmm awesome lol

-M

Just read your entire TR!! COngrats on getting engaged! Are you planning a DFTW?

Oh wow!!! Thats a lot of reading haha. Thanks you so much for the congrats!!! I hope you enjoyed reading :)

Thpose shirts are so cute! What was the store called in DTD that you got them made at?

Thank you!!! I believe it was called the Design-A-Tee store. It's connected to the scrap booking/mickey ear store. They were so much fun to make. Tons of colors and clip art.

OMG you make me want to go see Winnie the Pooh or Peter Pan right now.... and lets not talk about the funnel cake.... mmmmm awesome lol

-M

Haha disney movies are the best!!! There's never a wrong time to watch one. And Disney Food in General, but the funnel cake :lovestruc

I realized I never finished reading this trip report! That needs to be changed.

Okay, you and Andy in your Mickey ears is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. You guys melt my heart. SO CUTE :lovestruc

You're making me consider the whole vinylmation thing. I don't know. I'm a little hesitant but it looks kind of fun...

I love your big family. I feel like it would be so much fun to go to Disney with that many people - especially since you guys all love it so much! :goodvibes

I WANT TO BE A TROLLEY PERSON TOO! That literally is my dream job. That or being Belle in Beauty and The Beast Live on Stage. Either of those would be beyond perfect.

LOL I wonder why nobody wants to keep big baby... IT'S FREAKIN' CREEPY THAT'S WHY, LADY :lmao:

Aww that picture with you, Roy and Minnie is adorable!

YAYYY HE PROPOSED! :goodvibes How magical! What was the thought process behind choosing the location? I love to know details! :goodvibes

WOW your ring is BEAUTIFUL! Such a pretty color! :lovestruc

Your shirts are PERFECT! I love them!

OH NO! I'm so sorry you missed your breakfast reservation. That's awful! :(

I know i am a little late here but I'm in :) So cute that both you and your sister got engaged in disney! That must have been so much fun! Love the shirts you guys made as well!

I'm back from a long hiatus. Sorry for the lack of updates. But I am officially a graduate and have nothing really to do with my life until August so hopefully I will be able to update this far more and get it over with. We are so close to the end.

Not What We Expected But Still Good
August 24, 2012

When we last left off we received the bad news that there would be no Mickey waffles and Strawberry soup in our near future, which stinks because that was the meal I was most looking forward to.

So, we stopped and got ice cream and walked back to Saratoga Springs to see where to go from there. Ma and Pa went to the front desk to talk to someone about making new reservations.

DSC04534.jpg

They explain our predicament to the people at the front desk and they felt so bad that they offered to call any place that we wanted to eat and see if they could get us in. Cool, only problem is the place we wanted to eat has no availability and we couldn’t go into a park because we had no passes so our options we limited.

IMG_5715.jpg

They finally found an opening at Olivia’s which is at Old Key West (the place where we were originally going to stay!!!) I checked out the menu on my undercover tourist iphone app and the food didn’t really interest any of us. So the pain in the butts that we are asked to be switched, we ended up deciding on Trails End Buffet mainly because I really wanted mac and cheese.

They were nice enough to call over there and say they squeezed us in “not many openings” and that they called a cab for us so that we could be there as soon as possible and to top it off they were giving us cab vouchers so we didn’t have to pay for it. AWESOME. No more waiting for a bus.

So we took a seat in the lobby and waited for the cabs to arrive

DSC04536.jpg

The taxi’s showed up and took us right to the check in building little did we know we had to get on a bus to take us back to the restaurant. So we waited inside the lobby cabin while we waited for the other 4 to arrive (we had to take 2 taxi vans because we all wouldn’t fit in one). When they got there we walked to the bus stop and enjoyed the fresh air and perfection that is fort wilderness.

Tri-Circle Ranch, how stinkin’ clever!!!

DSC04538.jpg

We use to stay here when we were little. I remember loving it and the bunk beds that they have in the cabins. This was the stop that made me so excited to have kids and bring them to Disney. So many fabulous memories!!!

DSC04540.jpg

IMG_5725.jpg

Before we knew it the bus showed up and we were on our way to stuff our faces one last time.

389239_10150961975260348_758370347_12015230_102588438_n.jpg

The goodness of a buffet was calling!!! When we walked in there was LITERALLY no one there. We had the place all to ourselves after the people at SSS said that they managed to squeeze us in haha. Upon entering the restaurant we were faced with the sad reality that only breakfast and dinner were buffets. Oh well gimmie FOOD!!!

DSC04545.jpg

Now for some major food pictures since there we 8 of us eating there we tons of options selected.

Let’s start with me because I remember what I got…

Barbecue Pulled Pork - with corn-bacon coleslaw, picked green tomatoes, and house-made potato chips served on a toasted butter roll. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOOD. Usually I would just say that it was because I was starving but no, it was perfect and delicious. When it first came out I thought it wouldn’t be enough but I didn’t even end up finishing it.

IMG_5719.jpg

Adam, Sam and KC both got the

Angus Chuck Bacon Cheeseburger topped with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato served with sweet potato fries. Sam doesn’t even remember eating it so I guess it’s nothing to write home about.

IMG_5720.jpg

Andy decided on

Fried Chicken and Waffles - served with rosemary maple syrup and butter. I thought it said chicken and waffle fries so I was really surprised when it was actual waffles. He really liked it but once again the portion was too huge to finish, he did his best to make a dent in it.

IMG_5718.jpg

I am assuming that this plate belongs to Ma because whenever she sees sweet potatoes fries on the menu she HAS to get them. It looks to me like this was

Chicken Waldorf Salad Sandwich - with cranberries, grapes, apples, and walnuts on toasted multigrain bread served with house-made potato chips

DSC04547.jpg

I have no idea what this is and the menu doesn’t have anything like rib sandwich, I think it’s Danielle and the only reason I say that is because of the shirt in the background of the picture.

So… mystery sandwich

DSC04549.jpg

And last but not least Pa

Spicy Grilled Shrimp and Andouille Sausage - served over cheese grits with red-eye gravy.

DSC04546.jpg

Yum Yum, stuff my face

309734_541279720563_6600502_n.jpg

Slowing down and getting full… (That’s an Alicia face if I have ever seen one)

308354_541279695613_162200254_30803536_2895793_n.jpg

After that beautiful face it came time to order dessert. Which half of us skipped. Having skipped it the night before I was determined to force down at least a little dessert.

I decided to try my hand at

Wilderness S'more - dark chocolate mousse layered with graham crackers and topped with toasted marshmallows, and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Holy guacamole was it good. I wish I had saved more room. Delicious, light and rich mousse ugh I want some right now!!!

I think Sam KC and Adam got this as well.

Ma got hers to go (which she regretted, she didn’t think about it being sorbet and being in hot Florida. Melty and soupy so she the tried to stuff it down before we left.)

Angel Food Cake - with fresh berries and raspberry sorbet, a no-sugar added dessert

I believe that this was either Pa’s or Danielle’s

Warm Sticky Bun Sundae - warm pecan sticky bun layered with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and whipped cream

We chomped away at dessert and had to get a move on because we were headed back to Downtown Disney to spend the rest of our hard earned cash.

I had to go see my favorite part of Fort Wilderness which is…

Doesn’t look like much but ever since I was a kid I have been AMAZED by this story.

The tree ate the lawn mower!!! Ahhhh, that’s crazy. I still don’t get how it happened but I am completely amazed by it.

Stuffed full and ready to pop we decided to waddle over to the bus stop to get back to the front of the resort.

Or so we thought...

Tune In Next Time!!!

I've never eaten at Trail's End but have stayed at Fort Wilderness once. It's so peaceful and beautiful there. All the food pictures look delicious, hard to choose. Maybe worth a try on my next trip.

We never had either but let me tell you it was SO GOOD. When I was writing this update I kept thinking to myself I have never really heard this place talked about all that much. I would totally recommend it!!! I love everything about Fort Wilderness. It makes me sad that our family has exceeded the maximum occupancy for the cabins because I know we would go back there every time if we hadn't.

Just found your TR and am all caught up! Congrats on all the "real" life happenings... thanks for the entertaining read!

So I decided to do a little life update because I have been gone for so long and SO MUCH has happened.

I’ll start with Little Women. When I was about half way through my first trip report I was going through the audition process at school and praying that I would be cast in the Spring production of Little Women. When I started the second one I had been cast and that was the main reason for falling so behind in the two reports was the rehearsal process/run of the show.

So here are just a few pictures from the production.

That musical was THE BEST experience of my life. I met and made so many new friends. I literally just cried the entire last few days of the run. My family in the show got as close as real family. Ugh I miss it and them so much. I’m so glad that I got the experience.

Since it was the big “Gala” musical of the year they had a big happy party for the big spenders. These are the March Sisters all dresses up and pretty.

From there we move to the end of the year theatre banquet. It’s basically prom in college.

The we moved into Senior Week. The Theatre department did our own special celebrating by going to a classmate’s beach house. When we got there me and my friend Sean we like “Jess lives around here somewhere!!!”. Little did we know she lived right down the street and she was celebrating her birthday. She invited us over to have some DELICIOUS cake.

Her and Kristen we getting really excited for their upcoming trip.

Which brings me to graduation.

Of course I had to add a special Disney touch since I am moving there in August!!! I wanted to write I’m going to Disney World but I thought I might get in trouble for that so I stuck with a “hidden” mickey.

Holy cow have the past 4 years flown!!! I can hardly believe that it’s been that long.

IMG_2319.jpg

That about wraps up my senior year of college. Moving to Disney in about 90 or so days!!! But honestly I just couldn’t wait that long to go back so…

I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD… AGAIN!!!

I could hardly believe it. I was just there in March and before that August but I NEED TO GO BACK and I just graduated so what better way to celebrate? We literally just booked everything yesterday and we will be going May 26th-30th. Just a short quick spontaneous trip thanks to my friend Bobby who got us AMAZING discounts for being a cast member.

So it will be Andy, myself, Sam and her best friend Brittany. Staying at the All Star Movies kind of winging it as we go. I can’t believe I am going back. AHHHHHH I am so grateful.

That’s it for life, as of right now. I am going to try to get another trip update in soon and before I know it I will have another trip report to write up. Hope everyone follows along with that one too!!!
