We found the rest of our group at their quick service restaurant of choice which happened to be Studio Catering Company… I think. Here is some of the menu
Man I could really go for a grilled veggie sandwhich right now… But it looks like someone in their group had their eye on the turkey sanwhich.
And of course real life food pictures
We waited a little for them to finish up and plotted out our next move. We figured since we were in this neck of the woods we would head over to…
We hopped in line and the waiting began.
I kid you not. We waited…
And we waited…
and we (crabbily in the heat) waited…
And then I played with my creepy vinilimation
And then!!! After all that waiting… we ALMOST made it into the building!!! Oh man… so close, we could just barely feel our beloved friend the air conditioning seeping out of the building!!!
After spending a good 30-35 minutes in the outside part of the queue we were finally in!!! And theses guys were arranging out trip for us. How kind
This guy kept me occupied for a while but getting into this room took literally like eight years…
By this point my feet were hurting me SO BADLY that I was sitting on the ground in the line that wasn’t going anywhere anyways. I was hungry since all I had to eat since 9:00 that morning was pop-tarts and we were holing off on eating because we had a late lunch scheduled.
SO, enough of that complaining since I did enough of it in that line. I must have fainted or gone into a foodless coma because before I knew it (not really because it took us 65 minutes to get through the line) we were finally here…
You can see the excitement in our faces!!!
Danielle didn’t even look all that excited and she was the only reason we got in line in the first place!!!
Anyways. We got off. Andy HATED it. The line made him crabby and the ride made him feel sick, whether that was because he had not eaten anything but popcorn that day or because he gets motion sickness I guess we will never know because he refuses to ride it again. Add that to the list of things Alicia can’t do in Disney anymore…
So we gift shop stopped and sucked up all the air conditioning we could before we headed out into the blazing sun once again.
Now Danielle looks really cute in this photo and her teeth are like shockingly white but I think the thing that makes it is the guy with the shades who is like posing in the background
This photo looks like it was taken outside the muppets gift shop. I’m not sure this is from Danielle’s photos. But I had to show you the creepy vinilimation Adam got.
Incase you didn’t get a good look in the first photo let’s try a close up
First of all that thing is creepy. Secondly how did that thing even fit in the box?!
Moving on from the scary bird… We decided to take a family trip through the movies. You know what that means… One of my personal favorites: The Great Movie Ride!!!
No pictures from there on any of the 3 cameras huh… Must be because once again Andy and Pa used this as a nice cool nap ride. I can remember nudging Andy quite a few times because I was so disappointed he was sleeping…
So since everyone was sleeping on the last ride we decided to do one we knew would wake us all up. We made our way back down Sunset Blvd.
And decided to check back into my favorite hotel on Disney property!!! And what en exciting and reviving ride it was. Of course since I knew that there was a vinilimation box in the gift shop I had to trade my scary guy right away. Boy was I glad I did because I ended up with this cute little guy from Toy Story 3
Sam was right behind me and eager to trade as well. Andy guess what she got…
Twins
The Lady at the desk was so nice and said that if we wanted we could trade again but we both liked them too much so we said no thank you.
From here we decided to split up again. Ma, Pa, Danielle and Adam wanted to head back to the room and nap before their dinner reservations. What lazy Disney goers!!! Do they not remember that they slept in?! Oh well their loss.
From there the four of us brave souls young enough to stay out more than a few hours at a time made our way over to the Muppets but the line was out the door around the corner and there was quite a bit of time before the next show started, so that was a no go. So we tried desperately to do some shopping but my feet were killing me!!!
So we decided to find a place to sit down. As we began to look the skies opened up and I kid you not, buckets of water fell from the sky in minutes. We ducked into the ABC Comissionary to take cover from the storm and unfortunately it was packed in there with people doing the same thing. It took us about 10 minutes to find a place to me to rest my aching feet.
Our dinner reservation was in about 30 minutes so we didn’t want to eat anything but boy did we stare at people’s food like sad starved puppy dogs . They had this hamburger there that had chicken nuggets skewered on it, I don’t even really like hamburgers that much but boy did it look good to my starving tummy.
We waited out the storm and our dinner reservation for a good half an hour and the rain was still coming down. We were going to have to make a dash for it if we wanted to eat that day. Want to know where we were headed….
Tune In Next Time!!!
