Crap! MDE won't let me make my FP+ ressies!!

Did this change recently? I made my ADRs for July/August trip at 11:00 Central time at day 180.

ADRs are always made at 6 am online. At least this has been true since 2011.

The same thing happened to me last night. I took a nap and woke up to do my FP+ at 3:30 am. I got everything I wanted at the time I preferred including A&E and 7DMT (not at the exact minute but definitely at the exact hour I wanted). Pixie dust everyone!

I just did check-in and FP+ for 8/23 (just opened). I think 8/24 would be tomorrow

For me it was resolved by going to bed and getting up at 5:30AM to book them.

Stayed up til 1am then it opened up the 60 days. It then only took about 45 mins to book all my FP for an 8 day trip. Got everything I wanted except sleep lol

Blessed - how many in your party? Are you booking your FP+ as a group? For A&E try booking just those that really need to do that, and select times as individuals, hoping some overlap.

When I tried (this morning at 1AM) to book my group (three of us) on August 24th to see A&E nothing was available. But when I "split us up" and started doing it one at a time a bunch of slots showed. I couldn't get three overlapping times until 5PM, but hey ... by then it was 2:15AM, I have to be up by 6, eyes are bugging out, I have a headache ... time to declare victory and move on.

In other words, depending on the day you're looking at, if you don't select as a group you might find something. When I looked at our last day (August 29th) this morning there were still quite a few FP times left for A&E. Good luck and happy hunting...

I started another thread on this when I woke up in a panic and couldn't get my reservations. If your trip starts on the 24th, were you able to book today? I couldn't. I'm hoping that's because technically, 60 days isn't until tomorrow, since July has 31 days.

If not, I'll be on the phone with IT for hours after work today.

Are you searching for your whole family at once? You can't search for more than one or two people at a time. Then either copy that FP+ to the rest of your family or search for overlapping times for each member of your family. You will not be able to find availability if you search for four or five people at a time.

For the record, my FP+ window opened today (check in on Aug. 23), I did the selections at 4:45 a.m. when I woke up for work. I got pretty much everything I wanted, though the options for A&E were too limited for arrival day.

I did it for the 24th of August (around 4 o'clock in the morning') but it was so messed up I really just wanted a fast pass for the mine train but it made me pick other ones which made the mine train go to weird times so I finally got something that was decent but... Then when I looked to review it it doesn't show all four of our names , it just shows one of our names and I don't know what this is supposed to look like ,it doesn't look right to me.

I think they were able to book the 24th but their check-in date was earlier. You can book _starting_ at 60 days from check-in, up through the length of the reservation.

I just want to say the bolded part isn't true. I got A&E for all four of us on our arrival day. It was perfect, right after dinner and right before the dessert party. It may be harder to get as a group but it is doable.

I was confused about this too since I was up to 2:00 a.m. scheduling. I just cancelled out when I was finished choosing all the FPs and then went to my itnerary and voila! there it was.

The MDE system was locked up at midnight a couple of times last week when we were there. My guess it there were too many people on at once for their system to handle - people trying to make reservations 30 and 60 days out as well as people still up trying to push back selections made for early the next morning so they could sleep in and/or go to a different park.


Yes, you would think they would make the investment to make the system work properly before they got rid of the old system, but they didn't. This system is designed to increase their profits, not your enjoyment of your vacation.

Sorry...it was my FPP that I booked at 11:00 CT at 60 days out not my ADRs...I was able to book all dining I was hoping for, except Cape May Cafe for dinner on Christmas Day...is that odd or could it really be that popular on Christmas? I even got BOG for Dec. 26th

Not true for us either, I booked Anna & Elsa for a group of 10!!!!!! all together SO SO thrilled
