Ouch, sounds painful.....Poor Jake. What time are you going on Sunday, I might try and stop by and watch the demonstration. I love summerset, we found our perfect spot for the fireworks viewing so hopefully Chris gets off from school in enough time tomorrow to see it!

Jake's demonstration is at 3pm on Sunday at the family fun stage. I would like to go earlier so we can walk around for awhile, but part of that will depend on how my back is doing.

Heidi, I was wondering about the fireworks when Jeffco announced the fire ban in all of unincorporated Jeffco.

I read on facebook that Jrsy tried a bacon beer. That sounds disgusting.

It was fun, as always, though it sure would have been more fun if you guys could have made it. It seemed less crowded for some reason even though it was sold out. We also got to use the "Members Entrance" so we got in before the doors even officially opened. I didn't have any beers that truly knocked my socks off, but tried several good ones, several bad ones and quite a few odd ones. Also picked up some good schwag.

I had a great time too, we always say it but we definitely need to do it more often, so much fun and a huge stress reliever for me! And now that I know movies are $5, we WILL be taking advantage of that more often!!!

The snow on Tuesday was interesting. I was at work and went out to my car. It had a couple of inches on it. I couldn't find my scraper. I was rooting around in my trunk and one of my co-workers was in the car next to me getting ready to pull out. She rolled down her window and handed me a large piece of styrofoam to use. It worked great! I did find my scraper and now it is in an easier place in the car.

Our computer died. Brad hasn't been able to fix it yet. So, I either have to use the kids or the laptop. The laptop seems really slow.

Max finally doesn't seem to stink anymore. I was getting ready to call the groomer again to get him in for another bath and I noticed he seemed to smell better. Yea!

We are trying to figure out Thanksgiving here. I think I will do it for everyone here at our house, but I am waiting to hear back from my SIL. It should be fun. I am not real happy with her right now. At least if we have it here I can start drinking early and not worry about driving anywhere. The alcohol should make it more bearable.

How about the weather right now? Looked up after being at work for a couple of minutes and the snow is really coming down.

We're 5 days away from being in southern California but the forecast for our days there isn't stellar, either. Regardless, even a cool, cloudy day at Disneyland is better than being at work.

It has just started snowing here. Pretty small flakes so far.
Rachel is staying home today she has been fighting a cold all weekend.

I agree Jrsy. Any day at Disneyland is better than a day at work.

Somebody else who will be there next week started a thread today asking if rain would ruin their trip and they were told that a) it is too early to have an accurate forecast, b) even if it does rain, it is unlikely to be hard and continuous and c) the parks are very empty on rainy days. Good news for both of us!

Our other daughter, Stacey, is in San Diego right now. They were wearing sweatshirts and shorts. You just never know. Rain wouldn't put a damper on it for us.....that's what the Mickey ponchos are for.
