I knew this was going to be a good day!! I just got my vacation request back finally. I knew it would be approved because I had already talked to my boss about my cruise. And, I had moved it already. But it's exciting to see it on paper. I get off at noon on Tuesday. We are leaving for the airport at 5:30 pm so I have plenty of time. I am excited. I also at the same time got approved to take off 2 days in June for Dane's company meeting. Aerial will be at her Dad's so it will be a nice short trip childless. Dane & I really need time away, even though he will have meetings. We are staying at a Casino hotel so I'll probably kill time on the slots and having a couple of drinks while he's at the meetings. Should be fun.

OK I am out of the loop. I am really busy at work and will be until June 10. My last day is the 16th. But I am not even sure if I will have a job next year. I am a little concerned about that. If I have no job we do not get to go on vacation in November. We already have our tickets to the Keys in July so at least we would get a vacation but the kids would not.

What all is going on? And if you ever need me please email me. I am able to check my email during the day. At work they have really cracked down on us visiting websites. Only reason I am on now is no one is around to catch me. LOL

Karen looks like you have sold your house.

Heidi I hope everything works out for you on the WDW trip. Is this the precruise WDW trip in September?

Marcie when do you leave again? We are going to be in the keys the first week in July. Let me know....but you are going on the Eastern aren't you?

Cosmo has new "little" buddies. Heidi and I got him some friends at McD's. Way to cute not to get them.

Marcie - that is great that you finally have your vacation approval on paper!!! Now it is official. Where is Dane's company meeting at? Sounds like a nice meeting to go to for the 2 of you, have some couple time.

Selena - I thought you would be pretty busy with the school year ending. I am sorry to hear about your job....prayers and pixie dust for you. Last night I went into Spencer's and found the candy bra, I had to laugh...but not sure if I wanted to spend that much on it!!!!

Tonight we will be birthday shopping for the girls. All my ideas are falling out because I can't find them anywhere, how frustrating. I guess we will see what I end up getting tonight!!! Then tomorrow I am picking up my little cousin and we will be babysitting the twins.

I hope my parents are having a relaxing time down at the campgournd, they deserve the break (even though I wish I was there and am jealous!!)

Yesterday they let us go earlyat work because they had to turn off the water because of a main water pipe break and told us to call the information line this morning just in case it was still off, nope had to go to work!!!!

The meeting is in Baton Rouge. A city I've been to a thousand times. But it's still nice to be in a hotel and since it's a casino hotel I will get free drinks when I play the slots!!! Just can't go broke.

Has anyone been to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon? I was watching the travel channel last night and they had the top 10 water parks on. Now, it's gotten me wanting to go. Blizzard Beach was #2 and Schlitterbahn here is Texas was # 1. They just opened a Schlitterbahn here in Galveston this year. It would be tough to give up my day at DTD though.

I had a lot of fun at Blizzard Beach, but I love waterparks!!!!! I have never been to typhoon lagoon but I think swimming with the sharks would be cool.

Is it just me or is Christi MIA now too?

Sorry, didn't mean to go MIA! It has been really busy here. I worked all last weekend and three days this week and on my two days off I was lucky enough to spend them both at ALL DAY LONG field days at the kids school! It was fun, but it was so hot . THere is VERY limited shade around the school so being in the sun all day was exhausting.

I have also been really busy with girl scouts too. We had our last official meeting of the year on Thursday night. We do have a field trip today (putt putt and DQ). Then in two weeks we are going on a Unit camping trip. There will be a little over 50 people at that camping trip (adults included). I am on the planning committee so I have been trying to get some of that stuff finished. I need to order all of the craft supplies from Oriental Trader today so I make sure we get them in time. The camping trip should be fun. We are doing a space theme and my brother in law is bringing up his telescope.

I hope everyone has a fun weekend planned. I have to clean this weekend since my house looks like a tornado went through it. We have the girl scout putt putt trip this afternoon and then tonight the kids are spending the night at a friends house ( yes, both of them will be gone ) I think we are going to go see a movie and have dinner. It has been a LONG time since we have done that.

Hi everyone. Thanks to each of you about my job. I am kind of worried. In the past I was never worried but with new Adminstration I do not know if he will fight for my job.

Which McD's BBWS baby did Cosmo get? I had to eat a happy meal Friday to get one of those for Mac. LOL

I really need to finish my cruise report...but I honestly do not remember where I quit. Does anyone know/ My bad I know. LOL

Jeff just told me I could go to visit my friend Janet for 12 days at the end of July thru August. I am so excited. I get to to go to opening day at the track, a Jimmy Buffett concert and to Altantic City. Woo Hoo, well that is as long as I have a job. LOL

Erik had a baseball game last night...won and two today. Won one and lost one and two tomorrow.

Well today has been one long day. E had two baseball games and I am tired. I would say I am looking forward to tomorrow but I am not. We are giving a huge field test and I will be very busy due to it. We also have two other field tests to give this week.

I had a nice weekend. Friday night we went to see The DaVinci Code. It was pretty good. Just a little long. Saturday Dane and I went to Houston where his car club was having a shop day. We hung out for a few hours and everyone decided that night to go to Kemah to eat and celebrate one of the guys birthday. So, we had a few hours to kill. I test drove a Honda Civic. Sometime in the next year I want to buy a car. After that, we went over to Kemah early and walked around, then ended up in the bar LOL. I had a VERY strong strawberry Daiquiri and got a bit silly. We watched some of the AStro's game in the bar then went outside and listened to the band and people watched at the fountains. Then it was time to meet them at the restaurant. We ate and drank and had a ball. I really needed that night out. After we were there a few hours one of the guys wanted to go to another bar to drink BUSHWACKERS!!!! Their Bushwackers actually tasted like a BBC to me. This bar was a Karoke bar and some of the people in our group went up and sang. We dance and had a great time. All and all a great weekend. Next month they are having another scavenger hunt!!! I can't wait.

My trip is now 2 1/2 months away. Oh guess what, one of the cars yesterday had this on the back window of his car. I got so excited hahaha. One of the guys in the car club owns a sticker shop so everyone gets stickers from him.

Cristi - How did putt-putt go? Where you going camping at? That sounds like a lot fo fun, but not with a bunch of girls!! Chris's girls are the biggest wimps when it comes to outdoors. We want to take them camping so bad, but we can't even get them to go on a trail hike very well. They complain about the sun, complain about walking, and don't even mention a tree as a bathroom!!!

Selena - Wow you are going to have a busy Monday. I believe you left off where you left off at the day after you had a little too much to drink and couldn't drink the wine at the Captains Gala (or whatever the name was). That is cool that you get to go for 12 days to visit your friend Janet. No, we do not have Cosmo...Jrsy has him.

Marcie - Sounds like you had a lot of fun this weekend and hopefully it has helped out the stress for you. Only 2 1/2 months away for you trip? That sounds like such a short time to wait but we have a little over 3 months left before we cruise and that sounds like an eternity to me!!!!

Well the girl's big birthday suprise did not go as planned. They were not all that interested or excited when they figured out we were going to WDW. They were more excited about their new Disney CD's. They didn't even want to watch the DVD's we got them about WDW. Oh well, when time comes closer they will get more excited. My parents did take all of us out for brunch at the Armadillos and they sang to the girls....their faces were priceless!!!!!

LuLu - missing, but I think you know where she is!!!
Jrsy - missing too, haven't heard from him in a while, he must have gone to Elitches (Six Flags) and enjoyed the water park since it was hot, hot hot her this weekend.
Selena - very busy with work since school is coming to an end, she may be losing her job so she needs lots of hugs, prayers and pixie dust.
Marcie - needs hugs, prayers, and pixie dust to...with the help of a much needed cruise leaving in 2 1/2 months.
Cristi - very busy with girl scouts!!!! I haven't even ran into her at the Arrow Liquor store in a few days
Karen - in the process of moving and selling her house. She is having a very tough time also and needs all the hugs and prayers that she can get.
My mom - still busy with all the estates, trying to get 3 sets of twin birthdays done and a wedding.
Me - just suprised my DBF daughters with a trip to WDW for their birthdays and they weren't excited (they have never been to WDW!!!)

It is a long time. Actually I don't want it to pass too fast because Aerial will be going back to school when we get back. 7th grade. My baby is growing up.
