Well you probably won't here much from me in the next 2 weeks. I am extremely busy at work and in the early am will be the only time I have to post and read!!!!

Oh my. I am late posting today and was afraid that I would have pages to get caught up on. I guess everyone is having a busy day. I had my niece over again and we made estate sale signs. We played about 4 games of rummicube also.

We are off to Armadillos for dinner. Hopefully will be back on tomorrow and then we are going to the other house until Sunday night to price and get more organized for the estate sale. It is such a massive undertaking.

Gosh, where is everybody? We are having the best of Spring. It is simply gorgeous out. I have the windows open to air out the house.

Ted and I were very bad last night. We went out to eat and decided to walk it off so we headed over to a dealership next door. Four hours later we came home with a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. Talk about impulse buying!! No not really, we have been wanting to get him a new car and couldn't resist.

Tonight we are headed to the "other" house to continue on the estate sale so I won't be back on until Monday. Hugs.

Wow that sounds like a fun night out Sandy. Congrats on the new car. After work today I went shopping, I was hoping to find shoes for my dress but no luck. I did get daiquri mix though. I may go to Houston tomorrow with Dane, he wants to watch the races so I told him to bring me and drop me off at the mall on the way. Maybe I can find me some shoes. My blinking flip flops came in but they are too big, so I'm exchanging them for medium.

3 more weekends to work and I am done with overtime for the year.

The last few weeks have been stressful at work and we've been eating out for lunch a lot. I've gained a few pounds. So, today at work, my friend and I were trying to figure out a way to really motivate us (besides hanging up my bathing suit to look at ). We came up with a contest that we are starting Monday. 4 of us are each going to put $10 in a pot and then we have to log all of the food, with calories and fat grams that we eat all week. Then on Fridays we get someone else in the office to judge our logs and the winner gets the $40. I went to the store and bought all kinds of lean cuisines and lowfat corn dogs. The corn dogs are 2.5 grams of fat a piece so I think I will do pretty good in the contest. And, hopefully I will lose a pound or 2 next week.

Hi guys... just got home from work. My house is echoing. Tomorrow DH is renting 2 MORE trailers aside from the 26 footer his dad is driving back to NE!!!
He said get things packed now so I don't have to worry about it later b/c he didn't know if he could come back to help me. So.... Almost ALL of it is going on Tues a.m. I will probably sleep on beach mattresses!!! Fast food from now on (poor me... no cooking!!! sushi!!!! let's go Amber!!!)
Anyway, thought I would check in. I have no time ot catch up on reading. Hope Selena did not leave yet.... Hope Marci isn't too busy... Hope Jrsy is doing fine.... Sandy, the more Ithink of you (and Heidi) the more I am thinking you (and Heidi) are like me (and Amber). Hope both are well. And Lulu... how are you doing?

As I was on my way to work I realized I needed to get gas. I stopped at the Cheap gas station only to find out after filling up that I locked my keys in my car (actually my car did it). Apparently if you leave the keys in the ignition, once you close the door the car has some sort of security on it and nicely locks your car door for you. Thankfully my dad was still home and was able to come rescue me.

I had a good weekend, went skiing on Saturday and had a movie night with my best friend on Saturday night. We watched "Into the Blue" or something like that and it was based in Nassau. They scanned the island and you could see the Disney Wonder!!!!!! I was so tired from waking up early and skiing that I didn't want to go, but I did and am glad I went to "movie night." She was sad and it was her husbands 30th birthday and of course he went to the strip club with his friends since he will be getting a divorce soon. Sunday I cleaned all day long, yuck.

My dad's new SUV is nice, okay okay I am a little biased. My dad and I both drove Nissan Sentra's and mine was a year newer than his, now we both have Nissan Pathfinder's and his is 2 years newer than mine (no fair)!! I love it though. He even let me drive it. I was so suprised when I saw it sitting in the garage. I was talking to my mom and when my dad opened the garage door I just stopped talking in mid sentence when I saw it!!!!!

Where is Selena, Jrsy and Lulu? They have been MIA since Friday!!!!!!!!

Marcie - did you enjoy the daquiri mix?

Karen - Yes, I think you and Amber are just like my mom and I!!!! Too bad you aren't moving to CO.

Jrsy Boy is almost healthy again. Looking back on Saturday, the week was pretty much a blur and I still wasn't feeling well enough to enjoy our great weather. I slept in on Sunday and felt much better. Spent some time outside and was nearly blown away. Still a little congested today, but not too bad. DS is on spring break this week, so I got up early and came in early. I'm hoping to take Friday off to spend with the family.

I think our federal refund check was direct deposited at the end of last week, so a chunk of that will go directly to DCL.

Heidi, where are those before and after photos?

Yes my friend has a weird way of looking at things. She gets a huge child support check each month. Honestly it pays for all of her bills. But not her groceries or gas expense monthly. She also thinks he should pay her more so so the kids can eat and go places...lol
It has been hard to deal with this because I saw it from the other side. We paid regularly and never saw Brandy.
During the summer it is real bad because the kids like to do things and she tells them to ask their dad for the money. He tells them no that this is the reason he pays child support.
I have to say he did do her wrong. Terribly but she should just accept now her life has changed and she can not expect to live like she use to. I tell her all the time she needs to get a job. She refuses. She said she did nothing wrong to break up her marriage and she did not have to work before and feels like he is the one that did wrong so why should she have to change her life style.

I enjoyed the daiquiri mix okay, but none I have made has been as good as the bars. We got Pina Colada mix too and my DH didn't like it at all. So I think I will try to find a new brand of strawberry. Heidi, what is the recipe to BBC's again??? I know you've told us, but I don't remember. Maybe we will try those next.

Okay, I need opinions. Please don't think I am too wishy washy.

Our original cruise that we wanted to take was the Eastern. The July Eastern was pretty high priced, but the August one looked like it could interfere with Aerial's school so we pretty much had to go with the Western. We orginially had the July 29th cruise booked but then moved it to July 15th because of Dane's meeting. Well then Dane's meeting was rescheduled to June so that was then free. Then I heard all of what is going on around the July 15th at work and I was feeling guilty. So, today I decided to call Aerial's school and find out when school starts next year. It doesn't start until Aug. 17th. That is 5 days after we would have gotten off of the Eastern cruise. Plenty of time to get home in time for school to start. Even if they have volleyball camp it would start on the 14th. (We would be home on the 12th). So, I got on DCL site and looked at the cruise for Aug. 8th. It's $385 cheaper and they have one of the Secret Cat 7's open, like I have now. The only bad thing is that we already bought our plane tickets. I went to the website and it will cost $300 to move all 3 tickets. So, we would still get off cheaper. I think I will talk to my office manager after work and see what she says about moving it. If she is happy, I really think I should move it. I really wanted to go on the Eastern!!!! Not to mention, I live about 1 1/2 hours from a port that does Western cruises. So, it makes sense to me if I am going to Florida to cruise, I should do a cruise that I can't do from here. It looks like I've already convinced myself. What do you think monkeys??? Oh, another plus is, I wouldn't have to worry about what to do in Costa Maya if we were on the Eastern.

I doesn't sound like there is anything to decide. Don't you feel that with everything seeming to be leaning in favor of the switch that someone (depending on your faith) is trying to tell you something?

Remember the joke about the guy sitting on his roof as the floodwaters rose? Someone came by in a boat and offered him a seat, but he turned them down, saying "The Lord will provide." A helicopter came and lowered a rope ladder, but he turned them down, saying "The Lord will provide." Well, the guy drowns and when he gets to Heaven he asks God why He didn't save him, God says, "What do you mean? I sent you a boat, I sent you a helicopter..."

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, in my opinion, all the signs are there telling you what the right thing to do is.

Marcie - I would definitely say go with the Eastern, just like Jrsy said, all the signs are there!!!! Plus I don't like the Mexican ports and would much rather go to the Eastern ports. It's a perfect set-up and you get to save $85 towards souveniers and drinks!!! I will post the BBC recipe again when I find it (even though I pretty much have it memorized in my head!!!)

Marcie, I say DO IT!! It sounds like it was meant to be!! Plus, the Eastern is my favorite just like Heidi's. You could have a bushwacker at Paradise Point in St. Thomas. Mmmmm, just like a chocolate shake but with a kick.

Jrsy, glad that you are doing better. We were up in Arvada Sunday and I swear we were going to blow away with the wind. The wind just cut through me. I was soooo cold.

Karen, echo, echo, echo! Sounds like the majority of the packing and moving will be done before you know it. The bad part of it is that you won't have a bed!! Fast food??? That would make me happy since I really don't touch french fries and hamburgers too often because of the diet! I think of you often.

Heidi, I agree with you and Karen. I think that our relationship is just like Karen's and Ambers. Speaking of Amber.....come out, come out where ever you are.

Selena has been busy trying to get ready. LOL I am still not packed and no door signs. LOL I have most of my stuff either to one side of my bedroom, closet or in the suitcase. I am not worried about that. BUT I am worried about my red dress. I found a ripped place on it. It is the first red dress I bought and the one I planned on taking. I have to take it to see if someone can fix it tomorrow. I just am so busy right now. I have to do that though. No joking about that.

I did get Cosmo some bathing trunks for the cruise. I think he likes them too.

Well I talked to my office manager and before I said it, she said "and you would be here in july during payroll". I got brownie points for moving it. So, I left a message for my travel agent and I'm waiting for her to call. Then I have to move airline flights, WDW resort reservations & 'Ohana & Whispering Canyon Cafe ressies. I am soooo excited. Now I get to research new excursions. I could not find a cruise meet thread though. Maybe I will be all alone. Oh wait, someone is in 7620, so I know there is someone on that cruise. Thank you all for your opinions.

Jrsy I do believe in that!!! The funny thing is, when I bought our airline tickets instead of feeling excited for saving money I felt like it was wrong. Now I am so excited that I know this has to be right. Hopefully we will miss any hurricanes!!!

Marcie - I am so happy for you. You sound so much more excited about your cruise now!!! The BBC recipe is:

Bailey's Banana Colada (BBC)

1 banana
1 shot Bailey's Irish Cream
2-3 scoops ice cream
1/4 cup milk

Put in Blender with ice. Blend, then add 1 shot dark rum. We usually add a shot of Kaluha also!!!!

Selena - I hope you can find someone to fix your red dress, that really sucks. But if that is the only thing that goes wrong on your vacation I think you can handle that!!!!

Karen - how are you doing, just making sure you haven't gotten lost in your empty house. Thinking about you, do you need a hug?

Okay, I did actually end up having to spend a little money. Some how the cruise only went down $70 and she says I got my 10% discount. On the website the trips are $385 difference so I didn't get it. But I guess I wanted the trip enough to move it anyway. Now I have to figure out our excursions.

Thank you for the BBC recipe. I really need to write it down. I have everything but the banana and dark rum. I have light rum, Malibu rum, Kahlua, Baileys, just no dark rum. Back to the liquor store I go.

Selena, that sure is a bummer about your red dress! I am sure it can be mended. I am takinga jacket in tomorrow that I bought at WDW a few years back that is basically new. My DH accidentally dropped something on it and it tore in two small places. I am hoping they can mend that, too. So Cosmo is all decked out for swimming? Make sure you take a picture!

Marcie, do you think that dark rum has a different flavor than light rum? I have light as well and always wondered if I could use them interchangably like I do brown sugar.
