Good morning. What did everyone think about American Idol last night? I thought a lot of them did okay but not outstanding. I missed Amazing Race though, I fell alseep. Anyone want to give me a recap of what happened in Amazing Race?

I thought that American Idol was just so-so. I pretty much agreed with Simon this time.

Amazing Race, well, let's say that Luke and Michelle made mistakes every time they turned around. The older couple was very strong this week. The hippies always seem to come out great and they did again this week. The pinkies came in last and were eliminated.

Missing everyone and hoping you are all ok.

DS has spring break this week. DW hoped that I could take Friday off to spend at least one day of it with him. Didn't look good with all of the work we've got going on, but we have a submittal going in on Friday which we have to be done with and get to the printers on Thursday. Since I had a lot to do anyway, I am getting my 40 hours in by the end of tomorrow and taking Friday off! Hope the weather is good so we can go to the zoo.

I have been so busy and have not had the time to stop in. I am at work now typing away.

My red dress when I purchased it was in the window of the shop. I did not look it over real well. When I first noticed the seam coming undone it was just barely out. Now it is almost complete out. I guess from me trying it on the few times I have has worked it undone a little more and more. Paula said she will have no problem fixing it. There is a lot of material on that part of the dress. The dress is empire waist line so this is under the bust area. The dress is one of those dresses that they only put a small stitch on the bottom for the hem not a true hem. Paula thought it had been purchased and worn and brought back. She may be correct but I do not think so. Now one of the rhinestones has come out of the pins at the straps of the dress. I tried to purchase a rhinestone the same size to put in the small pin but I can not find one the correct size so I bought buttons to replace the pins. I do know the rhinestone has come out since I purchased the dress. I really do not feel like it had been worn and returned. It just does not look like it. It looks like someone with a large bust tried on the dress and work that one seam loose. LOL This dress is becoming a nightmare but is truly is lovely. I like it and I feel pretty in the dress.

How is everyone? Marcie what did you decide about the cruise? I have not gone back and read up yet. Hey in 16 days (not counting today or the 15th) it should be over for you. Or the worst of it right?

Selena - I hope you can find someone to fix your red dress, that really sucks. But if that is the only thing that goes wrong on your vacation I think you can handle that!!!!

Remember my October vacation. It was a nightmare but if you over look what went wrong we truly had a great time. It is a vacation that I will always remember fondly. I truly think some of the worst ones can be looked at in a positive way and you will see that although the vacation was terrible it was one you will remember because of that. So I can deal with almost anything. Well not a fire like what happened on Princess. And I hope everything passes customs and inspection like the Sensation didn't. LOL But you know I would remember it!

I am really excited. I am at 6 days to the cruise and 5 for Florida. We arrive in Ft Lauderdale at 11:36 if we have no delays out of Charlotte or upon arrival at the airport in FL. We are staying at the Embassy Suites with Jeff's points. We reserved two rooms, one for us and another for our friends. Those rooms are over $230 anight and we got them for free!! We should be at the hotel by noon. I am so excited to get there and see everyone. I feel like I know the people I will be meeting. Janet and I are as close as I am to all of you guys. We talk on the phone all the time. She lives in NY. She said yesterday I cannot believe we have never met! :rotfl2:

I need to get to work. I will try to check back in a little while.

Selena - Atleast someone can fix the dress for you. Too bad about the rhinestones, but I am sure it will still look great. Never get rid of a dress that makes you feel good about your self!!!!!! I can't believe you leave next week, how exciting!!!!! Ft. Lauderdale is the smallest airport I have ever been too!!!! You are going to have so much fun, can't wait to hear about your trip.

Karen - how are you doing???

Jrsy - I am glad you got the day off and can spend Friday with your son. Friday is my scheduled day off but wasn't sure if I could take it off or not due to our deadline. But we are a head of schedule and I can take it off. My best friend begged me to go to the zoo with her and her son yesterday. She even made him leave me a message on my work phone that he loves me and wants me to go to the zoo!! He is 2 and it is very hard to say no to that sweet little 2 year old.

Marcie - How's work for you?

Hello everyone,

Sorry Selena about your dress but I am sure she can fix it just right for you. I can't believe that it is only 5 more days before your cruise. Wish it were me!

Jrsy, tomorrow should be a perfect day to spend with your DS! Glad it worked out for you.

Heidi, so I am going it alone tomorrow? No Heidi? Makes me sad! But have fun at the zoo. I sure can understand how hard it is to turn that cutie down!!

:rolleyes1 Holding purses again...I have no idea what any of that means.

What will be different with the 15th being on Saturday? Is midnight the 15th still the deadline or midnight on Monday the 17th? My FIL is an accountant and his birthday is 04/17, so he is always ready to celebrate by then.

So, Heidi, you were asked to go to the zoo yesterday or asked yesterday to go on Friday?

Ooops, I read Heidi's post a little too fast. She was asked to go yesterday NOT tomorrow. Wouldn't have been convenient for Heidi and Jrsy to meet!

I only have a minute. I am soooo busy. 3 more weeks and a lot to do. I was so tired I was asleep at 7 p.m. last night. Yes, that means that they aren't due until midnight on the 17th. Which means we could have one extra day. Usually we are off on the 15th because if we have any not finished on the 14th we extend them. But, I don't know if we will be off on the 17th or 18th. We always have to wait to know when we are off until the last return is picked up. Okay back to work.  :confused3

Hi guys! It has been awhile since I have posted here. It's been busy at work. We are down 3 people in the lab and I have been working some extra days. Then when I get home I am too tired to think much.

Selena, hope you can get the dress fixed. It sounds like it will work out.

Marcie..hang in there tax season is almost over. It was good "talking"with you on chat last week. I think you will really like the Eastern. We really liked it in December when we went. Just be careful and don't fall off of any piers..

Sandy, congrats on the car. That sounds like something we would do.. :)

Sandy, Heidi and Jrsy.... did you hear about the Colorado couple that was missing? Well, I know the lady. She is a girl scout troop leader in our unit. It isn't sounding good. They found him in Arkansas yesterday in a suicide attempt. I am going to try to watch the noon news today and see if they say anything else. :(

Oh my goodness, Cristi. I have heard about the missing couple. I have been leaning towards the husband being guilty somehow. It is soooooo sad about the daughter! I saw them interviewing the girl scouts last night on the news.

Marcie, bless your heart. Tax season has to be horrible! Remember, don't fall off the pier!!

That is cool that the two of you talked on chat. Was that a DISboard function?

Christi and I talked on Friday night chat night. There was a link on the disboards reminding about it so I clicked on it and there it was. It was fun. :thumbsup2

I will try to catch up this weekend. I can't wait for Sunday, a day off. :thumbsup2

My blinking flip flops that I ordered in the medium came in. They fit perfect!!! So, now all I have to do is return the large. I got Aerial a blue pair too. :thumbsup2

Hello out there!!!!
Hi everyone!! It is me!!!! :thumbsup2 Sorry I have been scarce. I know you all understand. I cannot even remember where I left off. Either way, I am still echoing as DH made it to Cow Country ok with some of my stuff. He drove his truck and pulled a U-Haul that had some of the older kids stuff in it. His dad drove a 26 fy Penske and pulled a U-Haul behind it!!!! THAT is all the important stuff. I am assuming they made it there ok.
Yesterday I took the hydragneas out opf the 3 huge oval pots I had in the front and transferred them to smaller pots that I can leave. Tomorrow I will transfer a huge Bouganvilla (purple) into the ground so I can bring THAT pot also. DH has not figured out how we are going to get that last small trip[ back with the rest of mine and the olders kids stuff... but... I have time yet.
Hakuna Matata today.
The neighbor next to us on the right put his house up and was in the works on a sale when we put ours up. The sale fell through. His is $10,000 more than ours but has an extra bedroom and our backyard is a haven with a built in pond and just a beautiful garden, where his is all mulch. Both houses offer different things so no competition really. THEN.... the neighbor on the left of us (who are really nice but their house is the trashiest in the whole sub division and right now they have a bedroom set outside on their front porch) put THEIR house up for also $10.000 more than ours but theirs has an in ground pool. We have new roof, new cabinets in the kitchen, new fridge, tile, toilet, Corian countertop, siding, and back porch with an Arbor DH made for me after ours went down in the hurricane. So.... the realtor was JUST going to put up the sign on the pool neighbors house as DH was pulling out!!! Close call, as he will panic and want to drop the price even lower when he finds this out. I was thinking that our house will NEVER sell if they don't clean up the porch but now at least with the sign in their yard, people will think they are clearing out their house for the move. So... we will see. I will try to have an open house a week from tomorrow. I have to do it snce we are with Assist 2 Sell.
OK.... Jrsy,.,,, glad you are back on top of things.
Selena... you must be getting excited!!!!!
Marci.... I bet you look adorable in your outfit!!
Sandy.... your car!!!! How neat!!! Amber and I went to buy Disney photo books at JoAnn Fabrics and I bought a bunch of wrought iron things for a house I will not have for awhile.... that was MY impulse shopping!!! :rotfl2: Mine was cheaper than yours!!!
Hi Heidi!!!!! We are SO much alike... I fell asleep through AR also!!! Can't do it any more!!! :confused3 Getting old I guess!! :rotfl2: :lmao:
Cristi!!! That girl!!! How well did you know her? I haven't heard much about anything since I have been so busy!!!!
OK guys... Amber says helllo and that she has been so busy also.
Take care and hope all is well with everyone! Karen

Karen... boy you have been busy. I feel for you. I hate moving. Guess it was all of those years of being an Air Force brat...
I wasn't close friends with the missing lady, but I do know her. We have gone on leader retreats and camping trips together. Also, she was usually at all of our unit events that we did. We actually had a unit event that I saw her at two days before she was last seen. It is very sad. It dawned on me yesterday that the girls in her troop have had it even rougher than I thought. About 3 years ago (or maybe 2) their leader died of cancer (ovarian I think). Terri stepped out of her co-leader position and took over the troop. I just keep hoping they will find her somewhere. :sad2:

Hi guys, just heading out of here for the "other" house. Just wanted to tell everyone to have a fantastic weekend.

Just thought I would say hello. I am enjoying my one day off. :thumbsup2 Can't decide yet if I want to go jet skiing or tan in the tanning bed but I will be getting some kind of sun today.

Heidi, those BBC's were great. :thumbsup2 Tasted almost just like the ones on the ship.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. :grouphug:

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am just kicking back with my famous "fruity rum drink" in a DCL hurricane glass. It sure tastes good! I had to work all weekend and I am tired from today. Losing that hour of sleep was a bummer..... :guilty: I have to work tomorrow and then I am off Tues and Wed  . My house is a disaster area so I know what I will be doing those days.
