Hi guys, made it home from Kohls ok. We will take the Suburban into a mechanic on Friday. It has done this a couple of times. Had the battery replaced and was told the alternator was good so I was sitting in my car looking stupid and thought to myself to just wiggle the gear shift in case it wasn't in park all the way and voile it started. Hubby said there is a relay switch or something that could be going out. I am proud of myself to figure out HOW to start it.

Everyone needs to talk quietly so that we don't disturb JrsyBoy and his hangover. Shhhhh.

I am getting concerned over Selena. She hasn't posted for awhile. Oh Selena, everything ok?

Karen, you crack me up. Congrats on the weight loss. What an awesome job. You should be proud of yourself! I lost a pound over my mom's death. I thought for sure it would have been a ten pound gain as I found out over this ordeal that I am definitely a stress eater. LA Weight Loss was very good to me through this.

Its because there is a lot of money in LoDo and in Highlands Ranch. LoDo's, Rio, Purple Martini...they're all opening second locations close to The Ranch to get some of that $$$. Notice they are not opening second locations in Englewood or Thornton or Greeley...

Sandy... this is no time of year to have car problems ... glad you are getting it in the shop. Also, I was just telling my sister Heidi today that after my mom died last year, I got tobe the highest weight ever on my 5 ft 1 inch high body. My fat went up ove my bellin and it almost looked like my waist had a tumor in it. It really scared me. When I joined Curves they explained something about how when we get to this age our body reacts differently and something about a "cr..." word... I want to say creatine or something that ends up in our waistline and does worse when there is stress involved. If my memory worked, I could educate you , but I lost my memory back, well.... I don't remember when, but I lost it!!! Anyway, they made sense and I really thought I was going to die or something. Stress DOES have alot to do with it even if you don't eat.....

You guys make me feel so good. I was missed!!

It has been unbelievably hot here in NC. We broke a record yesterday at 82 degrees!

I am ok. Just have been very busy. Now that my boss is back I am having trouble finding the time to goof off. Our office is set up that she can look directly at my computer screen. So I rarely get to play at work anymore....

Last night was the work gangs night out. Alot of us had FREE tickets to see ELTON JOHN!!! No I did not go. I was not feeling well so I went home and was in bed by 9:24!! I feel better today...but I think the two glasses of wine has me a little tired.

I made a list of the shopping I still have to do and I think I am going to attempt to tackle it tomorrow. Then I will be totally done for Christmas. i still ahve three birthdays coming up too!!

Erik's is Saturday...he will be 11!! My baby is going to be 11. I can not believe it!

My brother's is the 11/21. I have to buy him a card and mail it so he will get it by then. For some reason it takes forever to get to Nevada!!

My dad's is 12/1. I bought him a gag gift a couple of nights ago. My dad is a hoot. So I bought him one of those little peniguns that you wind up and it poops as it walks!!

Marcie I am so excited for you. I know how all of you are feeling right now. You are going to have a wonderful time. If I asked and I mailed you some money would you mind to pick me up at the parks a few of the slides that go on the Italian charm bracelets??? Mac loves them. But on the ship they are very costly. I paid over $25 for one of Donald Duck in September on that ship!! Much more cost friendly at the parks... PM me and let me know and I will send you a list and some cash immediately.

Ariel and Mac are the same age. What grade is your DD in? Mac is in 7th.

Oh well I better run the boss is due in at any minute...

Well before yesterday I just had a bunch of things piled up in my laundry room to pack. I really still haven't done a whole lot. But this weekend I hope to be pretty much finished. What do you wear on the cruise on sea day? Bathing suit? tank tops? is it warm enough for tank tops in November. Somehow I will get it all together LOL.

I'm 5'3 and my DD is 5'6. LOL.

I wear my swimsuit and never take it off until dinner!!!!! I have matching shorts and skirts that match my swimsuit that I have on.

You wouldn't want to know how many swimsuits I have!! I have enough to wear one per day on the 10-day and still leave some home!!!

I read an article recently about downtown bars/restaurants opening suburban locations so when their clientele gets married and has babies and moves to the suburbs, they don't lose out on those higher salaries.

Oh wow the Rio ended up over there. I knew where the Purple Martini was because my best friend use to live by Cool River and we would go there for our "pre-drink" before we moved on to Caldonias out in Aurora!!!!!

That's what I always do, but then again I always eat at Topsiders for lunch and breakfast.

I never ran around in my suit until this last time. It sure saved on my laundry bill by losing weight. Shorts work for lunch. Not a problem.
