Nope. lol I always make mine in the crockpot. Today I made it a little different. I normally use onion and peppers as I brown my ground beef and then use several cans of petite diced tomatoes but the kids do not like it that way so I made different.

I browned my ground beef and threw in some garlic and Italian seasonings as it cooked. While I was doing this I threw in 2 large cans of tomato sauce and a packet of Walmart brand thick and spicy spaghetti seasoning packet. I then added a can of tomato paste with Italian seasoning. By the time this got a bit warm my ground beef was done. I drained it and put it wiht the sauce. I put it on high and brought it to a boil in the crockpot and then cut it on warm. I just cut it back on to low a few minutes ago. It is very easy.

My mother in law asked for a crockpot for Christmas. I love the one I bought her. It is the same name brand as mine and looks very similar. It has the black bottom heating unit with the casing being steel. The detachable pot inside is gray. My MIL's has a seating to time the cooking and then it will automatically go to warm. I would love to have mine do that.

I am really in love with Mazatlan.

We woke like normal and ate our normal breakfast. We met in the Atrium Bar for our tour. Our toour was done by Rob who has been to Maztlan over 30 times. Him and Marty live in Hawaii. They had been on B2B's on Princess before our cruise. Anyway, we took taxi's (flintstonemoblies) for a tour. The taxi drivers were people Rob knew. We had 6 taxi's for the entire day and only had to pay $20 pp for the tour.

We all got in a taxi, Susan Jeff and I were in our taxi. All the taxi's were like a caravan. We hit the Pacifico Brewery first. I forget how many cases we bought but one was in our taxi. I have no clue how many ice cold beers I drank but it was mnay. lol Our driver's name was Alfredo. He was so cute too. We had a great tour. I have no clue what all we see since I can not remember the names of places but we toured a while and stopped to buy silver. I bought two nice and heavy silver link chains and a ring for $100. I was happy with my price and even Rob said I got a great deal. As we walked in we were all given margarita's. I was at the bar area and I asked for extra tequila in mine, plus she gave me a shot which I gave our driver. lol

We also went to El Cid. I love this hotel/resort. We stayed there a while and enjoyed the pool. When we arrived they had a water aerobics class going on. Two very nice looking men were leading this class. Some of the girls joined in. They have a large rock structure in which you can climb and jump off of. Some did this. Jeff got beer and the girls margaritas. We stayed there until it was time for us to go eat lunch. we actually were a bit late for lunch but the place was very amazing. I can not remember the name of the restaruant I will fiind out the name of the place and post it later. The restaruant was directly on the beach. The water was very clear and very warm. A few of us walked out there and put our feet in.

After eating I was so tired and a bit buzzed so we headed back to the ship. We had wanted to go to the resort but we only had like an hour until we had to be back at the ship and I was afraid we might miss the ship so we went back and took a nap. I thought I had slept a long time but I only slept like 30 minutes. I woke up and Jeff was still sleeping so I went to the balcony and Susan had just walked out there. We sat out there for an hour or so and enjoyed just talking. Jeff finally woke up and he stayed on the balcony while I took a shower.

We did the same for the evening as usual. Got dressed and headed to the Atrium Bar. This night though I ate a little bit of sushi before dinner and it made me very sick feeling. I stayed sick for a long time. I took ginger pills and it took about 2 hours to get to feeling better. Comes to find out that Holly was sick too. I think we just had a touch of something. I do not think it was the food or beverages because everyone pretty much drank and ate the same things and only Holly and I were sick. Since I was not feeling well I went to the room after dinner but it passed so we went out and about and found everyone. Susan, Tom, Maureen and Bill all hit the hot tub on the adult area and Bonnie was so sweet she stayed with us and brought us our towels. Jeff was down in the casino. He finally came up and we were all just sitting around chatting on the deck. I am pretty sure we stayed up rather late that night. lol But it was a great day!!

Selena, Mazatlan is suppose to be so nice. Sorry you got a tad sick there. I always thought that land tours would be so lame until we took one in St Lucia. That got me hooked and then we took our own land tour in Cozumel.

I did not get sick until we had left port. I really think it was just something I ate that did not agree with my tummy. At first I thought I might be getting sick from over drinking but I did not drink much during this timeframe. Then when Holly said she was sick I felt it was just something we ate.

I have to say some land tours are lame and others are amazing. The trick is figuring out which are good and which you should not do. My PV City and Tequila Tour was lame. I would never have guessed that though since the tour company is such a huge company and well known on Cruise Critic.

Well my sister suprised us this weekend. On Friday she asked us to babysit the kids as they had a meeting to go to. She told us to come a little early because she had a suprise. We got there and she drove us to her suprise, they bought a house!!! My sister was so excited because this means she would be off the campground property and have a break. They are literally 45 SECONDS away from the campground as their house is just right up the frontage road, but at least she is away where campers/staff can't bother her when Joey and Tyler are napping!

Here is Stacey's new house. On the other side of the 2 car garage is another garage that got cut off.

The room above the garage is mine!!!!! Joey designated it as Heidi's room. (It is the guest room).

On Friday when we watched Joey and Tyler while my sister closed on the house, Tyler had been seizure free for 4 days and it was so great to see him back to normal. He could talk again, and talk loud! He didn't walk like he was drunk and his shakes were all gone. It was so awesome to see him like his normal self again. We didn't have to worry about being constantly at his side, he didn't have to wear his helmet and he could walk anywhere. Then his "streak" ended and on Saturday he started having his seizures again. He also was having a bad day yesterday with seizures and it made it a little hard to move. He was having an average of about 4 minute seizures. This is the first time I have ever seen him have the long seizures and it was heartbreaking to see, but good for me to see it so I know what to expect. My mom, sister, and I would rotate between packing and moving, and taking care of him. He goes to another specialist appointment tomorrow.

The house is beautiful!! That's great news for Stacey. It is also good that Tyler had such a long streak. Poor baby, hopefully the specialist can help.

Seeing Tyler's long seizures brought back a flood of memories.....and not good ones. I honestly think and so does Stacey that my brain went into protection mode and I forgot a lot about her seizures. Like labor and delivery. This weekend end was hard but we all got through it. It was wonderful having him back the few days we did. I hope to see a longer stretch soon! I am very excited to go to Mexico but at the same time I am having a huge problem leaving with what is going on.

We went over to AAA on Saturday to pick up our Disneyland packets. Alex is happy that his park hopper has Buzz Lightyear on it. We leave here next Friday at 8:35am and will land at 10:02am. Assuming we can get to the hotel by noon, we'll still be able to get about 12 hours in Disneyland on our first day. Only six more work days until we leave!

We're at the Ramada Maingate which, according to Trip Advisor, is less than a ten minute walk from the turnstiles.

Nice!!! We stayed at Hojo's and loved the easy walk. Our first time we stayed at the Marriott and it was the longest walk ever at the end of the night.

Oh Heidi and Sandy, my heart is breaking at what you guys went thru and what little Tyler is having to endure. It seems so unfair to me. I guess I know now why both of you were on my mind so much this weekend. Please remember I am still praying for each of you.

Jrsy I am excited for your family with your trip so close. Wish our family could fly in and have fun with you guys.

My computer at work is now blocking the boards. It does this for a while then for some reason I can get on again.

I have been very sick with a sinus headache for 3 days straight. Normally I get an infection after each cold I get but my body can heal itself but the last 2 colds I have had these horrilbe headaches and had to go on antibotics. My doctor called me in a 2 infection supply. lol She does this when I am having a bad year with my sinuses. I have it well documented I have major sinus issues.

Love to all...I am off tomorrow so I will try to post between reading Twilight and being lazy. lol

OH Jrsy Twilight had a preview for The Harry Potter Movie. It really looks like it is going to be the best yet.
