Wow, that is quite a drive. I would probably do the same thing for mine too. It is so hard to find a good hair stylist.
I have lived in WS for 19 years. For a couple of years I drove to the town I grew up in to have my hair done but really did not have a good person. I had a customer that owned a salon and I started going there. It was a very expensive place but I started going to a new girl there. The new stylist have to intern there for 2 years before they get to cut hair. She was awesome and since she was new I was able to get a great price. She never went up while I went to her because I was one of her first customers. She did go up on other people. But after she had her son she never was ontime. I always booked the first Saturday appointment (every 6 weeks) of her day and I had 2 small children. I would get there ontime and she would be up to an hour late. It is hard to entertain children for 30 minutes which was the time it took to get my hair cut. Then you add on the time she was late, it just became where it was not worth it anymore. It took me 7 years to find someone good after that. I am sticking with her. I figure I would have to pay $150 for what I get done every 12 weeks and all I pay her is $50 plus tip, so I can afford the $8 for gas. It is a tank there and a tank home.

SHe is pretty excited for school to be starting. SHe is also really excited for no daycare anymore.
They need to be self reliant anyway, right? Even Bill Gates is not leaving his money to his kids.
Aww, thanks.
