It's 4:30 here and I just heard that the temp hit 74. It has been such a beautiful day. I have all the windows opened to air out the house. I love it.

As far as I am concerned, dyeing beer green is a crime against nature. You should stick to Guinness for St. Patrick's Day. I would accept consuming anything brewed by Green Flash Brewing Company, too, if you absolutely need to have something green.

I did try the new seasonal from New Belgium called Springboard. It wasn't really my style, but that isn't to say it is not a good beer. I was happy with Mojo Risin' from Boulder Beer. We did happy hour on Friday at the Falling Rock Tap House.

Hi guys! We just back yesterday from a long weekend in Albuquerque to see my brother before he heads off to Afghanistan for 5+months. It was a good trip, but I think I totally used up my allotment of tequila for the next several months.

Heidi, cookies sales are all done now. I think they ususally have extras down at council for awhile though. You might be able to get some there (it is just south of Alameda on Broadway). Sorry...

DH just found out right before we left that he is going to be laid off. They are asking him (along with the others who got laid off) to stay for some sort of transition period until June 1st. If they stay, they get a really good bonus, if not they don't get anything. He is pretty stressed out right now. Send good wishes this way please....

Jrsy - my dad and I actually tried Springboard at a tasting we went too. I didn't find it all that bad...It didn't taste very "hop-py" to me. Anything with the name Hojo HAS to be good. I haven't tried anything that is called Mojo that I didn't like. I won't be drinking green beer either.....yuck. It is pretty entertaining if you drink enough and when you go to ah ugh relieve yourself you pee green!!!!!! (sorry everyone if that was TMI!!!)

Whenever I think of beer & Denver I think of Wynkoop! We;ve been going there since they opened.

We always go there for at least one nights dinner when we are in Denver.

Boulder Beer makes Mojo and Mojo Risin'. Mojo is the IPA and Mojo Risin' is the double IPA. If you like hoppy, you will like Green Flash West Coast IPA. I've found it at Davidson's but you may find it at Arrow or Liquor Mart.

My FIL did their accounting when they first opened and knows Mayor Hickenlooper as a result. He took all the guys there the night before my wedding. I was just there two weeks ago with people from work.

Cool! The last time we were in Denver we got to eat on the patio/blacony area and it was so nice! We go in the summer time so it is nice pleasant weather.

Thanks. He will go ahead and start looking. He has a couple of ways he can go. Right now he is doing computer stuff, but he also has a degree in pharmacy so he could go that way if he needs too. He hates pharmacy, but if he has a hard time finding another computer job he could probably find a pharm job easier to get us through until he finds something he wants.
