I forgot to add about my trip: We found out the reason why they were so busy on Saturday is because that was the day they were filming the DL Christmas parade special so they had Ryan Seacrest and a bunch of Disney Radio stars performing. They ran the parade 5 times to make sure they had the perfect segment!!! We also heard hannah montana sing and she did it 3 times over!!! It was funny, but annoying how busy it was. On Sunday we were exiting from Space Mountain and they handed us Dream Fast Passes, part of the year of a million dreams promotions. It was so cool since not many people get these special passes!!!!

Selena - I am glad you had so much fun. I loved the pictures. Where were you at where they had a water slide and water trampoline? What is up with the guys and their pants down??? I am sure that was hilarious. Just looking at the Carlos and Charlies pictures were making me sick thinking about all that liquor!!! Welcome back.

I had no trip reports to post, so I was just reading. Yesterday, I was at a very long meeting at the DOT. Today I will be riding the new light rail and attending the "recognition ceremony."

Let me know how the new lightrail is. I think the new addition will help out a lot. I just want the lightrail to come out West sooner than later. Hoping the Fed Center stop will be done before I retire.

Heidi, I heard that the Lakewood light rail might not even happen.

Jrsy, have fun at the recognition ceremony. I am anxious to ride the new light rail. The only problem Denver has with the light rail is not enough parking at all the stops!! It makes me mad. And now one of them has paid parking. The cost sure could add up!

I don't know which one it is, either. I thought all RTD parking was free, but if it is a nearby private parking structure, you would probably have to pay.

There is a total of 7,576 parking spaces along the new extension ranging from the maximum of 1,734 at the Lincoln Station to the minimum of 0 at the Louisiana/Pearl Station.

It was a fun ride with some great views. Was it worth sitting through all of the politicians' speeches? Maybe...maybe not...

I want to ride the new lightrail!!!!! (I know I am a dork!!) That lightrail saved me so much stress while I was in college!!!

That is funny Heidi. I don't think I ever go to the part of our trip report when I tell y'all how I got drunk off of one bushwacker at Paradise Point. I was soooo wasted. I guess it was lack of food, lots of sun. Maybe that drink is just way too potent. Okay but I am a cheap drunk anyway. I had to go take a nap before dinner. I was upset too because I really wanted to buy more shirts or souveneirs in St. Thomas but I had to go lay down.
