What is the weather suppose to be like this weekend at Disney? Is the tropical weather going to effect the weather while you guys are at Disney?

Selena - I am thinking that the weather will be fine when we get there. It seems like we are just barely missing Ernesto, but it will be gone the day before we arrive....I am really hoping that it stays on track with how they predicted Ernesto will go.

Marcie - your poor foot. I have foot problems too, thanks to my mom.

Hi all! I am really behind on my posting. With school starting and working this past weekend I have been busy.

Marcie, I am loving your trip report. The spa treatment sounds great and I am going to have to go to the mixology class next cruise! Congrats to Ariel on A team!!

Sandy, don't computer problems stink! Hope it is all going well now. Brad got our replacement hard drive the other day and got everything copied over to it. Ours crashed right before our vacation. Luckily for us though he had backed it up on the extra hard drive the beginning of the summer so we didn't lose everything. I was mostly worried about our pictures. We only lost a few of those and I think some of those I emailed to myself at work so I can send those back home again now.

It would be great to all go on a cruise together! I know we won't be able to do a Greek cruise though. The airfare would kill us. Next fall would be out for us since we have one planned for Dec 07 too. Sometime in '08 maybe? I don't know if I could talk DH into it or not, but maybe.....

Sandy and Heidi, I'll bet you can't wait for Saturday. What time are you leaving? Are you flying Frontier? When does the cruise actually leave?

This is what is going on. Charleston is now out for us this weekend due to the weather. Jeff mentioned Disney. We could stay at the Dolphin or the Swan for the same price as we could stay at POFQ. We have tickets from our trip last summer. I just do not know what to do. We would get there on Friday and return on Monday. We would only be there for 2 complete days. I would hate to drive 10 hours to have rain for 2 days and then drive back the 4th day. That is why I was asking Heidi about the weather. I just do not know what to do. Our kids would love this treat. If we do it we are not going to tell them then Thursday evening tell them to pack and leave late Thursday once E is out of football pracitce.

Cristi, I was wondering what happened to you but I did figure that the kids went back last week.

Selena, it would be a hard call on what to do. I hate being in a car for so long and then if it rained at WDW...that would suck! Glad YOU have to make the decisions!

Cristi - Our plane leaves at 6:00am on Saturday. We are taking American Airlines and have a layover in St. Louis, we are scheduled to arrive in Orlando at 1:30pm.

Selena - I sent you a pm back. I say do it!!!!!!

Mom - I only wish I could clean and do household chores today...lucky me gets to wait until Friday when I am off of work or do it at night.

I am so frustrated at "Magical Express". I still have not received my ME luggage tags. My travel agent contacted ME and they were supose to overnight it to me last week and I still have not received them. I called them again and they said it is too late and that I can just leave my claim check numbers with them and they will still pick up the bags, regardless if they do not have the tags on them or not. I am not sure if I trust this theory and am afraid I will never get my bag to my resort. Do I trust her or do I lug 6 bags around with 2 little girls?

Heidi does your mom have extras? I know they sent us so many last June that we still have luggage tags.

I think we are going to Disney.

Now we have to pray for not lingering effects from Ernesto because WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY!!!

We are going to leave after Erik's football practice Thursday night. We will be driving into the storm system and leave after 8 pm! Jeff has driven in a hurricane before so I feel comfortable in leaving on Thusday night. We will drive until we get tired and then we will find a cheap hotel to stay in. We normally stop and grab a free coupon book at the rest areas. Hopefully we will get a good buy at a decent place to lay our heads.

Wake up early Friday and drive the rest of the way down. Should be at WDW by noon. Check in or let the Swan know we are there and then see about the amount of days left on our tickets from last year. My bad I can not remember if it is 2 or 3 days. If we have three days we will go on to the parks. If not we will hang at the pool.

I lucked up and called the dining number and they had a cancelation at Ohana's for my birthday night!!! Jeff asked me to check and I almost did not check. I am so glad we got it. I am having some pineapple and carmel sauce for my dessert. Oh I love that place!!

I also got the Hollywood and Vine Fantastimic Package for Sunday.

I was so disappointed about Charleston and could not be thrilled about a change but now I am so excited!! Not only am I going to get to surprise my kids with a Disney Trip I get to eat at my favorite Disney restaruant on my birthday. Plus I get to meet Heidi and Sandy.

I am so excited I keep on forgetting to type certain things. lol

We are not telling the kids at all. The poor dears think we are still going to Charleston and they are staying with their grandparents. we decided to let them know Thursday when I get home that we decided against going to Charleston and instead we are taking them on a short vacation. lol We have no plans on telling them where though. We mentioned to them last night about staying in a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. If they think anything they will think there not Disney. I am going to play up that tonight. I am going to show Jeff the cabins again we were looking at and see what they think of it. lol

Jeff will be the one who is stuck driving. lol But seriously I normally help once we get on I forget what highway but I normally drive a couple of hours on one huge stretch. Now I have to figure out how to get the DVD players charged with out the kids knowing what I am doing. lol

I am so irritated right now. I worked so hard to do the magnets. My dad took their magnets to work to cut them on the paper cutter and I took mine to work today to cut them with the paper cutter thing. Well let's just say I am not an expert on that stupid cutter. I hate it. I ruined some of my magnets by cutting the graphic off, cutting them in half, etc. Finally I got so discouraged I am just going to have to cut the ones I didn't ruin by hand.....stupid magnets.

I realized I haven't checked in since last Friday so "Hi!" . I've been busy educating people on the Community Board about the evils of Wal-Mart. How exciting, all of the plans being planned and magnets being mutilated. We still have a long wait, but Tammy may get another girls-only trip in a few months. Her best friend's husband contacted me because he wants to surprise his wife and fly them both somewhere together. Alex and I had a good time when she was in Vegas, so I don't have a problem with it; I just have to think of something fun for us to do (last time it was our first trip to Elitch's).

Just wanted to say hi. I am glad Sandy & Heidi & Selena get to meet at WDW!! I can't wait to hear about it. They moved my foot appointment up to next week. I finally get to go to the doc. Tomorrow I have to work out of the office all day again. I hate when that happens.
