I remember crying every single year. I loved having the girls home for summer and then it was so hard on me when they went back to school.

This was Aerial's first summer to be home during the day and I came home everyday and had lunch with her. Before now she was always at a day care. So this was a hard year for me. I've been missing my lunches with her. :confused3 The good news is she thinks she is on the A team for Volleyball. First game is next week so we will see.

I wrote most of this last night when I couldn't sleep. :rotfl2:

Okay I’m going to try to write some more of my trip report. I can’t sleep and dis is not working so I am typing this in Word and will copy & paste later.

Saturday night I put the menu on our door for coffee and donuts to wake us up, so, Sunday morning we were woken up at 7 a.m. by room service. We got up and ate breakfast on the Verandah as we watched the water. I woke up Aerial about 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave for the spa so she could eat breakfast. She was meeting her friends at 9:30 to go see Pirates of The Caribbean at the theater. When it was time to go to the spa DH couldn’t find his KTTW. He looked for a bit and then told me to go on down there and he would come when he found it. Well, after a while of waiting there is a phone call from him in the spa saying that I HAVE to have it because it is no where in the room. I look in my backpack and it was in there. :confused3 :rotfl2: I must have grabbed it the night before and put it in my backpack. It was too early in the morning for all this. Anyway, our treatment was the romantic hideaway, in the villa. When you first get in there, they have these bowls of water and they scrub your feet with salt & lime glow. After that you get in the hot tub for a good while, around 30 to 45 minutes. They put some kind of detox powder in there and there is a pitcher of cucumber water to drink. It was really nice, by the end of the time in there I was totally relaxed. Here is a picture of the hot tub.

They came in and told us it was time to get ready for our treatment. We both had facials and it was so relaxing especially after the hottub. I never fell asleep but I kept my eyes closed the whole time and was really relaxed. :cloud9: It was great. The kind we had was the aromatherapy relaxing facial. We finished close to 11 and went looking for Aerial but she wasn’t out of her movie yet so we went to Topsiders for lunch. It was the Italian buffet and they had a guy behind a table where you could pick things for him to cook together. Pasta, cheese or sauce, vegetables, meat, it was the best part of the buffet. After lunch we found Aerial and her friends at the pool and we chatted for a while then we went back up to the spa to see if they had any openings left for another treatment. I scheduled a detox wrap with half body massage for Thursday morning at 8. We went back to the room to get ready for mixology class. I hated to put makeup on after my facial because my face never felt so clean before! The class was called Mixology & Fruit Carving. We got there a few minutes early and there was a just a few people there so we got a front row seat. I thought it was going to be dead but more people started coming. The first half of the class one of the bartenders from Rockin Bar D showed us how to mix 5 drinks. After each drink she or Pikey would ask a question and the first one to get it right would win the drink. Dane asked the bartender if one of the drinks was going to be a BBC and she said no but after it was over she took Dane’s printout with the recipes on it and wrote out the BBC recipe. We haven’t tried it yet. It’s just a little different then Heidi’s recipe, I will post it later. Anway, the second drink was a cosmopolitan and I wanted to taste it so when Pikey asked what show was in the theatre that night I threw my hand up and won the drink. :drinking1 I don’t remember what the 3rd question was, but the drink was Cool Breeze and Dane won it. He didn’t like it to much so I finished my drink and then drank half of his. :drinking: We didn’t try to win the 4th or 5th one. LOL. The 5th drink was the Bahama Mama and afterwards they gave everyone there a mini Bahama Mama. I am such a cheap drunk, I had a good little buzz going. Dane was telling me that instead of my quiet self I was being all outgoing and loud. LOL. Next up was the fruit carving and the man who did all the carvings for the buffets showed us his work. He is very talented. During this class we noticed Mary one of the Disers was there too, her and her dh came and talked to us afterwards. They were very nice, we did a lot of the same things as them. Once the class was over we went back to the room and Aerial was there so we took her with us to Bingo. We didn’t win but had a good time and one of the Disers there did end up winning so that was fun! Oh, the jackpot round, I only needed 3 numbers once they got passed the number of balls called for the big money. When I got to 1 number they told me to stand up, I stood for a long time but they never called 0 68. We had dinner in Animators Palate that night but we were seated way in the back and could not hear any of the music, so we couldn’t get into the show really. We wanted to go to the Family Cabaret so Aerial could see the magician Mike Super that we had seen the night before but dinner went over. After that was when our server told us she would get us out earlier so we wouldn’t miss the things going on at 7:30. We went to a little bit of the Golden Mickeys but we were late and there was no where to sit, since we’d seen it before we left. Aerial went off to another movie and we went to the adult cabaret and met up with Mary and her DH again, we all sit together. That magician Mike Super is really good, we really enjoyed it. After that we called it a night and so did Aerial. By 11 we were all in bed. She was so proud of herself she went to the movies 3 times that day. popcorn::

Marcie - your spa appointment sounded heavenly. I would love to be able to sit in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, but Chris is too big of a wimp in hot tubs and would last maybe 5 minutes!!!! What did you book for that and how much was it? I can't believe Aerial saw 3 movies in one day, my butt would do numb after the second movie!!!! That is so cool that you and Dane won drinks.....I have to try that class!!!

Cristi - awww, you missed your kids....how sweet.

I have to give a 4 hour presentation today so I will be busy!!!!!!

Wow, Marcie. That hot tub picture is so cool. I never had a spa treatment on the ship before. Sounds like cruising is definitely for you. Movies three times in one day. Funny! By the way, congrats to Aerial for making the A team!!

Heidi, you should stop by here tonight and get Cosmo. He might like to meet Joey and Tyler. Plus, I was at the dollar store and bought glow in the dark necklaces for all the girls for WDW.

I know I posted earlier. I have no clue where the post went...cyberspace I am sure.

Marcie the whirlpool spa thing looks wonderful. I would love to do that. :thumbsup2

Heidi how is your migraine? Sandy are you feeling more calm?

Selena, I WAS calm. Now my computer has lost a drive and my intinerary is gone and so are our magnets. I am about ready to throw this stupid computer out the door. Shouldn't computers last more than a couple of years???

I firmly believe companies are careful to make their goods last only a short while so you will have to buy a new one.

I am so sorry you are having problems.

As far as I'm concerned, its all part of The Wal-Mart Effect. If you haven't read the book, you should; it will explain a lot.

Scott Adams posed a similar question on his blog not that long ago:

I don’t know if it’s true, but the common belief is that light bulbs would last forever if companies designed them to do so. Likewise, my computers all become crash dummies after 2-3 years no matter what I do.

Are computers designed to disintegrate so you’ll buy a new one?

In order to accept that explanation, I have to compare it to the only alternatives I can think of:

1. The best minds in the world can’t figure out how to make a computer that stays functional when it is unused.
2. For the past 15 years, every time I go to bed, someone sneaks in the house and uses my computer until it freezes.
3. My computer is a sentient being that sometimes naps.

Jrsy, you said it all! :thumbsup2

I had a very long night last night thanks to Chris. Last week I made a packing list and included exact outfits I will be packing. Chris laughed at me and he called me a freak. Yesterday I was at my sister's house for the night and I come back home to find out he has EVERYTHING of his packed in the luggage and ready to go....now who is the freak in our household? This is the same guy that doesn't really "get" the Disney magic so I was suprised. We went to bed and he wouldn't stop talking about the vacation..it was getting close to midnight and he still wouldn't stop talking so I had to kick him out of bed to go downstairs and watch TV so I can sleep (he went very willingly, he knew it was a good idea). I woke up this morning and turns out he slept from 1:00am-3:00am...he is just too excited to sleep and we still have another week before we leave!!!! Maybe he is starting to get a little about the power of the disney magic.

Heidi this is so funny. Maybe he will get it now. Well I hope for your sake he does. lol

Wow one week huh? I wish it were me.

I have been battling a cold for since I came back from NY and now my poison oak has come back. I am just miserable. I called the dr and will be coming at 4pm today. It was his first available appt and I called as soon as they opened too. I am glad I did not wait until tomorrow. Could you imagine on a Friday?

Just like the kids on the commercial...

I will be heading out momentarily to the ribbon cutting for the E-470 Flyby that I have been working on for the better part of the last two years. Between that and T-REX (which I also worked on) opening this week, it is a good week for the transportation industry.

All of you non-Coloradans will have NO idea what any of that means...

I didn't know you were working on T-Rex, I must have been in a hole when you told us that!!! That is so cool, I am sure that is such a good reward when you can see the final product that you have worked so hard on. Yay for Jrsy!!! :cool1: Good job, job well done. :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

My mom's computer is dead again so she will try and post on the other slow computer sometime!!!!!

Heidi was she able to retrive her stuff for the cruise?
Unfortunately No, and she is very sad about that. She can retype her Itinerary but I store all my cliparts, pictures, and magnets on this drive and it has everything I use. Maybe I can try and come up with something when I have some free time for her.

Oh Heidi this is awful for you guys. I am sorry.

Have you ever just wanted to burst out in tears and can't. I need to just cry and get it over with. I know Heidi told you about it. I NEED my computer for last minute stuff. I have a headache today. Hmmmm, I wonder why!

Jrsy, that is so cool. I never knew either that you were a part of t-rex and E470. Great job.

Hugs to all. I just don't know when and if I will be back before we leave. The broken computer is under warranty so they will look at it AGAIN. They said 5-7 days and if it can't be fixed it will go to Sony and that could take a month or so.
