I remember crying every single year. I loved having the girls home for summer and then it was so hard on me when they went back to school.

The good news is she thinks she is on the A team for Volleyball. First game is next week so we will see.
I must have grabbed it the night before and put it in my backpack. It was too early in the morning for all this. Anyway, our treatment was the romantic hideaway, in the villa. When you first get in there, they have these bowls of water and they scrub your feet with salt & lime glow. After that you get in the hot tub for a good while, around 30 to 45 minutes. They put some kind of detox powder in there and there is a pitcher of cucumber water to drink. It was really nice, by the end of the time in there I was totally relaxed. Here is a picture of the hot tub.
It was great. The kind we had was the aromatherapy relaxing facial. We finished close to 11 and went looking for Aerial but she wasnt out of her movie yet so we went to Topsiders for lunch. It was the Italian buffet and they had a guy behind a table where you could pick things for him to cook together. Pasta, cheese or sauce, vegetables, meat, it was the best part of the buffet. After lunch we found Aerial and her friends at the pool and we chatted for a while then we went back up to the spa to see if they had any openings left for another treatment. I scheduled a detox wrap with half body massage for Thursday morning at 8. We went back to the room to get ready for mixology class. I hated to put makeup on after my facial because my face never felt so clean before! The class was called Mixology & Fruit Carving. We got there a few minutes early and there was a just a few people there so we got a front row seat. I thought it was going to be dead but more people started coming. The first half of the class one of the bartenders from Rockin Bar D showed us how to mix 5 drinks. After each drink she or Pikey would ask a question and the first one to get it right would win the drink. Dane asked the bartender if one of the drinks was going to be a BBC and she said no but after it was over she took Danes printout with the recipes on it and wrote out the BBC recipe. We havent tried it yet. Its just a little different then Heidis recipe, I will post it later. Anway, the second drink was a cosmopolitan and I wanted to taste it so when Pikey asked what show was in the theatre that night I threw my hand up and won the drink.
I dont remember what the 3rd question was, but the drink was Cool Breeze and Dane won it. He didnt like it to much so I finished my drink and then drank half of his.
We didnt try to win the 4th or 5th one. LOL. The 5th drink was the Bahama Mama and afterwards they gave everyone there a mini Bahama Mama. I am such a cheap drunk, I had a good little buzz going. Dane was telling me that instead of my quiet self I was being all outgoing and loud. LOL. Next up was the fruit carving and the man who did all the carvings for the buffets showed us his work. He is very talented. During this class we noticed Mary one of the Disers was there too, her and her dh came and talked to us afterwards. They were very nice, we did a lot of the same things as them. Once the class was over we went back to the room and Aerial was there so we took her with us to Bingo. We didnt win but had a good time and one of the Disers there did end up winning so that was fun! Oh, the jackpot round, I only needed 3 numbers once they got passed the number of balls called for the big money. When I got to 1 number they told me to stand up, I stood for a long time but they never called 0 68. We had dinner in Animators Palate that night but we were seated way in the back and could not hear any of the music, so we couldnt get into the show really. We wanted to go to the Family Cabaret so Aerial could see the magician Mike Super that we had seen the night before but dinner went over. After that was when our server told us she would get us out earlier so we wouldnt miss the things going on at 7:30. We went to a little bit of the Golden Mickeys but we were late and there was no where to sit, since wed seen it before we left. Aerial went off to another movie and we went to the adult cabaret and met up with Mary and her DH again, we all sit together. That magician Mike Super is really good, we really enjoyed it. After that we called it a night and so did Aerial. By 11 we were all in bed. She was so proud of herself she went to the movies 3 times that day.
As far as I'm concerned, its all part of The Wal-Mart Effect. If you haven't read the book, you should; it will explain a lot.jiminyC_fan said:Shouldn't computers last more than a couple of years???
Scott Adams said:I dont know if its true, but the common belief is that light bulbs would last forever if companies designed them to do so. Likewise, my computers all become crash dummies after 2-3 years no matter what I do.
Are computers designed to disintegrate so youll buy a new one?
In order to accept that explanation, I have to compare it to the only alternatives I can think of:
1. The best minds in the world cant figure out how to make a computer that stays functional when it is unused.
2. For the past 15 years, every time I go to bed, someone sneaks in the house and uses my computer until it freezes.
3. My computer is a sentient being that sometimes naps.
Jrsy, you said it all!Jrsy Boy said:As far as I'm concerned, its all part of The Wal-Mart Effect. If you haven't read the book, you should; it will explain a lot.
Scott Adams posed a similar question on his blog not that long ago:
Just like the kids on the commercial...Pooh_Friend#1 said:he is just too excited to sleep

You got it Jrsy!I didn't know you were working on T-Rex, I must have been in a hole when you told us that!!! That is so cool, I am sure that is such a good reward when you can see the final product that you have worked so hard on. Yay for Jrsy!!!Jrsy Boy said:I will be heading out momentarily to the ribbon cutting for the E-470 Flyby that I have been working on for the better part of the last two years. Between that and T-REX (which I also worked on) opening this week, it is a good week for the transportation industry.
Good job, job well done.
Unfortunately No, and she is very sad about that. She can retype her Itinerary but I store all my cliparts, pictures, and magnets on this drive and it has everything I use. Maybe I can try and come up with something when I have some free time for her.Jsme said:Heidi was she able to retrive her stuff for the cruise?
