I have been wondering why Jrsy hasn't posted and then it hit me. He said he was going to have lots of overtime.

I am here and had the most amazing meal. It was so good.
I had blackened Mahi Mahi and a dish with Grouper with a nice pasta veggie side. It was so good.

Suppose to go to the tracks tomorrow. Not sure if I can post tomorrow or not.

Wow Heidi, you will be in Houston? That's about 1 1/2 hours from me. We might could ride over one night to eat dinner. I'll have to see how work is going. Maybe I could leave at 4 one day.

Guess what! Dane got a jury summons today. It's for the Monday after we get back. He's supposed to be working out of town that week right after we get back so I don't know if he's going to try to get out of it.

I packed a little more tonight and tried on a few things. I might go to the mall one more time on Saturday after my hair appointment. I'm really kind of thinking about getting a different skirt for a shirt I want to wear to dinner one night.

Selena, I'm glad you made it okay. Have a lot of fun.

Sandy, I'm glad you got to talk to Karen. Can't wait until she can post again.

Christi, are you getting excited about WDW? I can't wait to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe next week. We are eating at 'Ohana too.

Well I'm exhuasted tonight. I was so stressed this morning about my eye. Then, I had to leave work and go to the doc, when I got back to work I spent the rest of the day running around crazy. We have a deadline Monday AND I'm leaving Wednesday. That is making for a few hectic days. This coming Sunday I am going to Lousianna to my Aunt's house. It's my Grandmother's birthday. I can't wait to see all my family.

Well I'm off to read my book. I'm reading "The Devil Wears Prada." I saw the movie last weekend too.

I can't believe Dane got a jury summons, I must have jinxed him with my bad luck!!!! Ya the conference is at: The conference will take place at the Houston Grand Plaza Hotel in Houston, Texas and I am sure that is where we will be staying also!!!

Having a rough day. Haven't slept since 8:00pm last night. I had a migraine, took my medicine and slept away the migraine from 4:30-6:00, then went to get my haircut and fell asleep from 7:30-8:00....couldn't sleep after 8:00 and of course I got up at 4:30am yesterday morning. I am exhausted and I am taking off from work at noon and taking a nap because I have to help my best friend move tonight and tomorrow and help her unpack on Sunday. She is not feeling very well either and I am sure its because of stress and nerves.....great we will be a perfect pair tonight!!!

Gotta run. I have a doctor's appt today for a mole or whatever. It has festered. My terms not the docs remember. Ugly, ugly and right on the face. I don't want to look like this on the cruise.

I am starting to get in vacation mode at work. It's hard to concentrate when I rather be eating at Palo or drinking a BBC. Well one more hour and I can go home to pack some more.

No big deal on the mole. It was just infected. He drained it. I was so disappointed because I wanted him to take it off but because it was infected, he couldn't. Darn those Doctors. They always have to do it the right way. lol

We had some guys try to buy us drinks tonight and then try to stiff us with the bill. I told the waiter we were not with them..we were not with them. Never met them before ever!!

Over all had a great day.

Tomorrow we go to Woodbury Commons to shop and met some friends from the cruise for the day. Yes Jrsy in NJ.

Hi everyone!

First, Selena, remember what I told you about NJ:
- try some pork roll (aka taylor ham)
- try some birch beer (non-alcoholic, remember...try it anyway!)
- eat some fresh tomatoes and corn from a farm stand if you can

Are you going to the beach? Man, I wish I was. My in-laws are in NYC right now and said it is raining. My parents were vacationing with my brother and his family in Cape May last week and my dad ended up in the hospital there. He is home now and doing better, though.

So, trying to keep a long, complicated story short, here is what is going on at work: the contractor who we are working for is trying to save himself money by requesting changes to our design at our expense. He doesn't plan to share any of his savings with us or the client. I think we are on our third or fourth viable design and he has at least agreed to pay extra for this one, which is why we are working overtime again because we have a new deadline. We are speculating that he is trying to make sure that we miss the deadline so that we are then financially responsible for him not being able to meet his construction schedule. It seems as though he is not going to be able to meet it anyway, so he wants someone other than himself to shoulder the blame. Meanwhile, we are busting our @$$e$ to BEAT his deadline so there is no chance of us taking the blame for anything.

Let's just say things have gotten ugly and we are fully expecting lawyers to be involved at some point.

I'd like to respond to everyone's posting over the past couple days, but this is already pretty long. I have been lurking when I can and will post if I can this week.

Hi guys! It's been busy around here. Last night we went to night one of DH's HS reunion. It was at a bar and grill and they had a fajita bar. DH had a good time I think. For a guy who says that he didn't have a good time in HS or very many friends, he sure had a lot of people talking to him. Tonight they have another reunion event downtown at the Marriott. Dinner and dancing. The kids are staying at his sister's house and we are going to stay at the Marriott tonight. I think there is also some sort of family event tomorrow, but I don't know when or where.

It sounds like you are having a great time Selena! I love Mahi Mahi!

I am glad you went to the doctor Marcie. It's better to get started on the drops right away before it gets too bad. One more week and you will be boarding the MAGIC!!!!

Well we went to Woodbury Commons and shopped and shopped and hey you get the picture right?

I found the coach pocketbook I wanted and saved $60 on it too!! Bought too much stuff. I bought a pair of shoes, the pocketbook, a lightweight jacket and a Ann Taylor dress. I am well pleased at my buys.

Heidi, don't you get waxed on Monday? Let us know how it goes. I hope you and your best friend didn't have too too of a weekend.

I got my hair done today and ended up going a little darker. I was getting sick of the light color. So, I told her to keep the highlights the same lighter color but give me darker lowlights and I love it!!! Now I just have to get my toes done on Tuesday. I am almost done packing just have to put in stuff I am still using. Tonight we drank chocolate shakes in our souvenier bon voyage drinks from last cruise.

Toes on Tuesday and this means you leave on Wednesday, right? What time do you fly out? Is Cosmo packed and ready to go?

On Wednesday I work until noon. The Limo is picking us up at 5 p.m. Once I get off at noon I plan on going eat lunch and drinking strawberry daiquris while we wait.

I picked out some clothes to bring for Cosmo, his captains outfit, bathing suit and some shirts and stuff, packed it all in a ziploc and it's in the suitcase. He will be in our carryon of course. He's getting very excited about going on another cruise.

I am off to Louisianna for my grandmother's party. She called bright and early to see if we'd left. She misses me. I'm her first born granddaughter. And, well now that my Dad (her son) can't go, it would break her heart if I didn't show.

Awwww Aerial just came in here and told me she liked the sign on the fridge I had to go see. Dane, put a sign on the fridge that says 3 days!!!!!!
