I just booked a tower club room at CR. I am so excited. Does anyone know the perks that come with that? DDid I also read that I should fax my room requests about 4 days prior or just call the concierge?:earsboy: :earsgirl:

Hey, you sound like us back in 1995. I didn't know about the discussion boards at the time so I made numerous phone calls asking "what is the tower club." I was always told it was just a name for a room in the tower. Actually if things are the same, the tower club are rooms on the 12th floor for which your room key allows you special access. The same applies for those visiting the suites on the 14th floor. Tower club offers limited concierge services, continental breakfast , lemon aide, cookies and such throughout the day and the concierge staff to help with reservations. It's a room with a little special attention.
The contemporary is our favorite resort! Remember you can always take the concierge goodies back to your room to enjoy in private, or visit the snack bar down stairs and take that back up to your room also. Have fun!!!!!!!I'm so happy for you!!!!!:) :)

We will probably see you in the tower club! We'll be there Oct. 15--22.:smooth: :smooth:

We stayed in the Tower Club in Jan.

Do not forget to request a fridge in your room. It's free, but you need to ask for it.

If you have children, the TC is great for the breakfast and snacks. Also, bottled water is free if you ask. My wife was five months pregnant, and we were given a 12 pack of bottled water to start us off. I am not sure that they give that much water to everyone, but always ask for what you might need.

If viewing the MK is a priority, be sure to request a MK view room. We did and we were able to see gorgeous sunsets and watch the fireworks every night from the balcony. Also, lying in bed and watching the castle change colors was pure MAGIC! However, the view from the other side is frequently more desirable for folks (you don't have to see the parking lot, but from the 12th floor, you practically need to look down to see it anyway)

The concierge staff was OK, and by that I mean they didn't really do anything more than what I could have done by picking up the phone. Pleasant enough, but nothing special. Perhaps others have better reports on the staff.

Overall, the TC was worth it with the AP discount. I am not sure I would pay rack rate for a room there.

Enjoy, I am looking forward to my next trip to the CR Tower!

We stayed in a Tower Club room a few years ago. It is SO worth it if you have two kids or more. Breakfast had lots of selections but nothing hot, which was fine as it was quick. You can bring the food back to you room, and go back for more if needed. This helps make for an early arrival to the parks, as you're not hung up in a restaurant somewhere. We always returned in the early afternoon, which was perfect to get cold drinks and snacks, again saving money for a family. The concierge was helpful and got us reservations at several restaurants. We got the best room in the house on the 12th floor, and never even requested it. It was on the Magic Kingdom side, last one down, closest to MK. We watched the fireworks right out our window each night...fun! I would absolutely get a tower room again. Take advantage of all it has to offer, and enjoy!

This is our first time going CR towerclub. I just think the continental brkfst. will be a big time saver, and afternoon snacks a bonus! I hope they will be able to help get a few good PS tables-if not that's ok too. Just soooo excited to go.:bounce:
