Covid Exposure and Linked Staterooms

We currently have a few staterooms for different family members that are linked together. We live in different states and are different households- but a linked party. If someone would have exposure to Covid and need to cancel would this impact all rooms - even though we are in different states and had not come into contact with each other?

I asked them on the phone the same question a few months ago when I was debating about booking. I was told it would go off of address not rooms. So as long as you guys have different address they will let the other on the ship.
